In the month of December they have lost to the Chargers by 3 TDS at home, lost to the 9’rs at home and barely beat the Broncos in Denver.

The Chiefs thrashing mediocre teams like the Bengals has been how sports works for about 4 years now.

Chiefs opened as a 4 point favorite in Vegas

Our coach is legendary.

Their coach is bad.

Our defense is exceptional.

Their defense is inconsistent.

Our QB is amazing.

Their QB is good.

Late in 2019, I once told Mahomes how great I thought Burrow looked at LSU and the reigning NFL MVP responded, "You know I'm only 15 months older than he is?"

Yeeeesh. Losing to Chicago and NY this year = more red flags than a Chinese military parade. If KC is healthy and play like they have been over the past 8 games, this may be another blowout for the good guys in red & gold.

That's the type of chip on your shoulder attitude that makes Mahomes all time. Brady has it. Mahomes definitely has it. It's the biggest difference between guys like them and a guy like Herbert.

If your defense keeps playing like it has been doing, you will win by 10+.

Burrow was having the best college QB season ever at that point and just looked otherworldly. Mahomes seemed SO annoyed when I gushed about him and I felt like such a loser.

Ravens were playing guys from the parking lot. Chiefs will dominate this one.

The Bengals are not my favorite professional football team.

Bengals are better against the run than the pass, which works in our favor. Their pass defense is below average.

They are absolute trash in pass protection.

Those are two really bad areas to struggle with against the Chiefs. Good matchup for us.

I think people that keep spouting that we need to bring our A game haven’t bothered to actually watch the Bengals this year. This is a really bad matchup for Cincy. As I stated earlier, our biggest concern this week is the Covid List.

We definitely can’t sleepwalk through this game, but there is a stark difference between the teams.

You can’t overstate how bad the Bengals pass protection is. Burrow is going to get sacked like 50+ times this year.

That is terrible. A weakness that glaring can lose any game in the NFL.

Yep. I’m not saying we can play like complete ass and win, but we have won 8 straight games. Of those 8, how many times have we actually brought our A game on both sides of the ball? We just need a solid effort and we’ll take care of business like we have in the last 9 weeks.

Burrow has been sacked at least 3 times in 7 of the Bengals last 8 games.

In the other game, he was sacked twice on only 24 attempts in a blowout win against the Steelers.

All about COVID list to me. If the Chiefs stay clean there and get Kelce back, they’re going to roll in this one.

The Chiefs DL just matches up so well against the Bengals OL. Burrow is excellent, so are Chase and Mixon, but the OL is full of turnstiles.

Gay and Bolton keeping Mixon in check in the flats will be big, too.

Trey Hopkins and Hakeem Adeniji are particularly bad. Teams with strong interiors and weak tackles seem to do better against us than teams with bad interiors and decent tackles.

Jones and Reed should absolutely be able to wreck that soft core of their OL.

Clark and Ingram will be out on islands. If either wins on a passing down, it’ll be a sack. Burrow won’t have a pocket to step into.
