This is how the NFL rigs games

The refs really showed out for the Bungles today.

**** the NFL.

jjchieffan 01-02-2022 03:11 PM

No argument here
That was blatant

rabblerouser 01-02-2022 03:12 PM

Seriously. If you've ever called me a name for saying the NFL is rigged, go fist yourself with a rusty screwdriver in your hand.

ChiefsLV 01-02-2022 03:12 PM

I expected a bump of the " Andy Reid is the worst head coach ever thread"

smithandrew051 01-02-2022 03:12 PM

Terrible officiating.

Spags blew it on that 3rd and 27. Inexcusable call.

I guess the Bungles are allowed to false start.

493rd 01-02-2022 03:13 PM

Anyone who doesn’t think games are rigged is ignorant. With all the $$$ involved there’s also corruption. Today we were the victims of it.

ShowtimeSBMVP 01-02-2022 03:14 PM

Maybe rigged but the chiefs SCORED 3 points in second half.

kcpasco 01-02-2022 03:14 PM

That was blatant.

Mecca 01-02-2022 03:14 PM

They rigged it so hard they made sure Mahomes didn't even get a shot to tie.

Wisconsin_Chief 01-02-2022 03:14 PM

That was an even more blatant screw job than the Super Bowl, and I never thought I'd see that.

Any moron left out there who still thinks the NFL doesn't rig games needs to just give up on life, because you have to be a mouth breathing imbecile to watch that game and not believe it was completely predetermined.

Any passion I had regained since the Super Bowl is gone again. This league is a goddamn disgrace to the men who built it.

I'm not stopping you from bumping it, but honestly, Andy seemed pretty pissed that the Bungles are apparently allowed to false start now.

DJay23 01-02-2022 03:15 PM

Egregious

banyon 01-02-2022 03:16 PM

The refs were bad, but Reid’s coaching in the 4th took away any chance for Pat to win it for him.

St. Patty's Fire 01-02-2022 03:16 PM

I would like to say the game was rigged, it's a lot easier than accepting that our DC put single coverage on the best rookie receiver since Moss all game long.

ShowtimeSBMVP 01-02-2022 03:16 PM

Funny I don’t remember the refs stopping any of the chiefs drives in 2nd half.

I knew the shit was deep when the stream showed that one ****ing ref joking with Chase on the sideline in the 1st half.

BlackOp 01-02-2022 03:17 PM

NFL spoke...they sent in a last minute replacement crew.

Looks like 3 playoffs games with Mahomes will make them more $$...

Yeah, what'd they have, 2 possessions? One in the 4th qtr?

I’m honestly fine with that for most the game.

But 3rd and 27? That’s the only way they convert. Just lay back and let them throw short. Tackle and let them kick the field goal.

We would’ve had like 3 minutes and 3 timeouts.

Inexcusable decision.

SupDock 01-02-2022 03:17 PM

I don’t understand how you can call those penalties there.
It’s hard to excuse that officiating, but look to further than advertisements for

-King- 01-02-2022 03:17 PM

Refs were terrible but we scored 3 points in the second half and couldn't stop literally one guy. Even on 3rd and ****ing 27.

Oh Snap 01-02-2022 03:17 PM

Back to back calls against the chiefs on 4th and goal? I know the first call offset but that was to the bangles benefit.

The fix was in when the refs called the kick off return back.. that was a ticky tack call to make. The "foul" was away from the play. You can pretty much call a foul every play if you want too.

They want the titans with home field. They probably have a lot of money on that match up. They're doing everything to make that happen.

Marcellus 01-02-2022 03:17 PM

LMAO

Stinger 01-02-2022 03:18 PM

So if the league is rigged we have to thank the league for our Super Bowl, and not Mahomes, Andy and the rest of the team?

wbbonneriii 01-02-2022 03:18 PM

Totally rigged...just massive job by the refs to keep the bengals in the game every drive when they needed it and also called costly phantom penalties on us (kick return), offensive holding) to stall our drives in the second half...completely rigged

kcclone 01-02-2022 03:18 PM

Officiating was horrible, no doubt. Refs took control of that game.

But we have no one to blame but ourselves for leaving Ward on Chase in single coverage the entire game. I mean, I get trying it in the first half, but why not adjust after it was clear it wasn't working?

Also, Tyreek dropped ball he should have caught for points at the end of the half.

Red Dawg 01-02-2022 03:19 PM

Been saying the league is rugged for years. Today is more proof. The Bengals had to win. They like Joe and want him in the playoffs. Funny how now Cincy has done star players and they start winning. Funnny how that works.

PurpleJesus28 01-02-2022 03:19 PM

Burrow even laughing after the game, yeah we got some calls, got a little lucky there. No shit.

Marcellus 01-02-2022 03:19 PM

Rigged to the point we have been to 3 straight AFCCG and 2 SB's and won one.

Because the NFL loves them some Cincy as evident by Cincy's history. LMAO

chiefzilla1501 01-02-2022 03:21 PM

If the nfl wanted to rig a game they’d want the bengals to play the browns next week and rig that one. They were backup refs who just had no idea what the **** they were doing.

Discuss Thrower 01-02-2022 03:21 PM

This isn't the 1950s.

Under the NFL's rules if you're a defense on your own 2 yard line: you are probably going to give up six points. Playing to force a FG is asinine.

Let the opponent score and take your shot to tie the game with two minutes and two timeouts in your pocket.

It took a combination of the 2. Chase had an amazing day. But, without the refs helping, we still win the game. Likewise, if the Chiefs hadn't given up the 3rd and 27, the officiating wouldn't have been enough.

You're a ****ing moron.

Deny what you just saw. THIS GAME WAS RIGGED.

DID YOU NOT WATCH IT?

IS YOUR ****ING COGNITIVE DISSONANCE THAT ****ING STRONG!?

We all agree on what we saw. It was rigged.

2018, was rigged - should've been Chiefs/Saints in the SB. NFL is ****ing rigged as shit. Period.

Would be 3 straight working on winning 2 out of 4 this year AT BARE MINIMUM if the NFL wasn't actually rigged.

Homie.

Two missed false starts, a horse collar, a soft DPI, back to back 4th and goal penalties.

That’s all on a single drive.

Maybe it was 2 drives actually.

I could let it go if it was situationally appropriate but his plan all game long seemed to be "meh we'll get to Burrow before Chase even gets deep enough in his route", every single down. And then a blitz on 3rd and 27 there is just, yeah that's a Madden like play call **** up. Just got into his own head there.

I'm happy we have an aggressive DC but man, he was working with a few faulty wires today, and he picked a bad time to have a classically bad coaching performance.

I don’t hope Burrow dies. But I hope to play him with a neutral officiating crew. And a defense that doesn’t blitz on 3d and 27. Or puts Sorensen to cover their best WR.

Refs were straight up garbage. The refs can be garbage w/o it being rigged.

The real issue is that the NFL is too ****ing cheap for full time refs and a ref union. So they trot out these garbage refs who ****ing bag grocceries mon-fri and ref on Sunday.

This part-time ref shit needs to end.

IrishChief 01-02-2022 03:24 PM

It's pretty damn convenient to "throw" the second flag..that the TV crew never mentioned, to offset and give them another chance.

When they false started and called Jones for encroachment, I knew it was over.

it was just soooooo blatant.

Nobody allows anyone to score.

And if they did and lost? They'd look like quitters.

BlackOp 01-02-2022 03:28 PM

Looks pretty obvious that the NFL decided they want every team competing week 18...

The Raiders/Chargers week 18 for a playoff spot...cant you just feel the excitement? Rams in a last second win...*chuckles*

Chiefs arent out of it...Titans could lose next week.

CupidStunt 01-02-2022 03:28 PM

They want KC in the wildcard round. It's as simple as that. They do not TEN vs LVR or some shit drawing awful ratings.

What sucks is that we couldn't GIVE them a field goal on 3rd and 27 and let Mahomes go for the win despite the NFL's preference.

Donger 01-02-2022 03:28 PM

I get the "just let them score" idea, but has that ever happened before in an actual game?

I knew it when they tool back the TD run by Pringle. Yes, it was a very ticky-tack hold that had nothing to do with the play and happens every play...but for some reason it had to be called there...probably to keep us from going up 21 at half...
