Well. ****..

Made of glass

wachashi 01-02-2022 03:34 PM

Jesus, what horrible luck this game.

BryanBusby 01-02-2022 03:34 PM

Broke dick. Time to move on.

Gary Cooper 01-02-2022 03:34 PM

His first impression was quitting on the team. His second impression is being average and injury prone.

Sucks that Mitchell Schwartz had to retire. Need to upgrade that position.

Deberg_1990 01-02-2022 03:35 PM

What was up with Orlando Brown? Hats off to Thuney and Allegreti

frozenchief 01-02-2022 03:36 PM

Wylie has done well in replacement.

If it’s a patella rupture, it can e repaired well before next season.

louie aguiar 01-02-2022 03:37 PM

That may be the last we see of Lucas Niang

It probably should be, he's always hurt and never looked all that good to begin with

KCUnited 01-02-2022 03:40 PM

Oh no

Anyway

Megatron96 01-02-2022 03:44 PM

He might just be too fragile.

Also, he did not look to be in game shape. Looked at least 30+ lbs. overweight.

Yeah, the question is whether Brown will be back for the playoffs. I wonder how serious his injury was, because it sure hurt us today for him to sit out at the last minute.

Why Not? 01-02-2022 03:45 PM

Who cares? He sucks.

Chief Roundup 01-02-2022 03:46 PM

This guy is injured an awful lot. Probably need to be looking for his replacement already.

Supposedly just a calf strain.

wachashi 01-02-2022 03:47 PM

We lose a starting tackle late in the regular season just before the playoffs? Hmm, where have I seen this before?

Warrick 01-02-2022 04:02 PM

How's Remmers knee? Any chance he'll be back for the playoffs?

It's year 1 for him, we got him for 3 more years, we'll see him again lol.

FloridaMan88 01-02-2022 04:06 PM

Broke dick, he took 6 weeks to return from a non-broken rib injury.

ToxSocks 01-02-2022 04:06 PM

He doesn't work hard enough at his fitness, and injuries are what happens when you don't.

Top heavy AF with bird legs. We've talked about his funky build for awhile now and imo led straight to this injury.

TribalElder 01-02-2022 04:07 PM

Yep I was thinking the same thing. He has a lot of girth on the top end and his legs look like they belong on a chicken. The guy needs to spend some time in the weight room beefing up his legs, or take up a new career selling insurance.

Yes. But we lost a good one last year.

Yeah starting to look like it. If you see his workout videos from this summer, it looks like he's too heavy for his body. His joints look weak, relative to his size.

dannybcaitlyn 01-02-2022 04:18 PM

It sucks but it kinda like losing CEH

Yes, I just posted the same thought without reading your comment. When I saw his workout videos (without pads), he looks too heavy for his frame/joints.

It looks like he's carrying some bad weight, which like you said can cause him to be in some awkward positions due to lack of strength.

Peter Gibbons 01-02-2022 04:53 PM

Perhaps we can sign a very expensive RG this off-season and then move him to RT?

ping2000 01-02-2022 05:20 PM

Not exactly thrilled we have a bunch of offensive line injuries at the end of the season again. Shit.

Titty Meat 01-02-2022 05:43 PM

Most overrated Chief in quite sometime

FloridaMan88 01-02-2022 07:13 PM

What’s going on with Remmers?

He was placed on IR back in early November and then he went on the COVID list two weeks ago.

Is he healthy enough to return?

Rainbarrel 01-02-2022 07:16 PM

A tall WR and DB might a a trend train the Chiefs need to get on

Add to that a RB who’s weight > 230lbs as well.

ChiefsFanatic 01-02-2022 07:40 PM

Honestly, they should have kept Niang at RT, and played Thuney at LT right from the start. I like Allegretti at RG, because he always seems to play with so much hustle and enthusiasm.

Is Darryl Williams #2 still on the PS? Or maybe we can get some temporary depth from another team's PS?

Think the best line this team can construct is Thuney-Allegreti-Humphrey-Smith-Brown. Not realistically feasible to do but that sure would be neat to see for a game.

I think that player Prince will be the next man up.

The CP hate for Lucas is wild lol. Most of you hate him for the opt out. Did he not get rolled up on or did i miss where he blew his own tendon out?

Simply Red 01-03-2022 08:50 AM

He didn't get rolled on. He was doing his normal blocking and he just went down

emaw1979 01-03-2022 10:05 AM

Niang's injuries this season are concerning especially since he dropped in the draft due to medical concerns. Add RT to the place they should look to upgrade this off-season.

Cheater5 01-03-2022 10:12 AM

Fat slob looks like a grapefruit balanced on two soda straws; not shocked that the motion of his corpulent gut over stressed one of his tendons and it snapped.

bsp4444 01-03-2022 10:50 AM

What's Kyle long's status? Any chance he plays RT? Ever?

He hasnt played tackle for like 6 years, i doubt it. He hasnt played in the league for 2 years.

chiefforlife 01-03-2022 12:38 PM

I think Long will come in and be a huge help, somewhere. This will probably elevate Prince Winebago as well. He should be ready to contribute by now and will give us a chance to see if hes in our future or not.

Niang is a decent player with lots of upside, I dont see why people are hating on him. The opt out was beneficial to him and the team. Its been stated many times that he wasnt going to be healthy enough to play that season anyway, the Chiefs knew that when they drafted him.

The opt out allowed him to fully recover and gave us an additional year of control for him. Perhaps moving him to the other side of the line contributed to his tendon tear as his body wasnt used to reversing its normal function? Who knows. The Chiefs are far more prepared this year than last for this kind of thing. Great job Mr. Veach!

Balto 01-03-2022 04:04 PM

Trey Smith played tackle at Tennessee and was ALL-SEC before his blood clot issue...Maybe they will take a look at him for RT. 6'6 330lb he is not a small man

No. Wylie has been fine at RT. Just leave him there. We will be fine on the offensive line.

This. I can't believe I'm saying it but Wylie has been decent at RT for the most part. Leave him there and hope Remmers gets his shit figured out.

Would it help if I said it too?

ThyKingdomCome15 01-03-2022 04:55 PM

Wylie actually has been alright lately. He's getting a feel for it.

Rainbarrel 01-03-2022 04:56 PM

Long's role must be rookie mentor.
