The way the playoffs are set up right now, we're going to have to beat three teams that actually beat us during the season, assuming the proper team wins each time.

It's possible that the Titans fall to the Bills and we host the Bills, but we lost to the Bills, too.

Granted, all but 1 of those losses were when we were trying to pull our heads out of our rear earlier this season, but the point stands.

Chargers were supposed to beat Denver in Denver and got whupped. Chargers lost to Texans. Raiders just seem like a better ballclub and better in clutch moments, but we will see.

I'd be truly shocked if the Chargers lost and missed the playoffs. I hope it happens though.

I'm surprised that more people aren't giving the Raiders much of a chance. Divisional game...Raiders at home...and this is the perfect time for the Chargers to do what they do...Charger. Chargers are the better team - no doubt. But I could see Carr lighting up their defense and having one of his career games against a non-Chiefs opponent.

Derek Carr has been playing his tail off down the stretch here, it's not unthinkable. He's been hot. Chargers have dropped a lot of stinkers this season against non-Chiefs opponents, too.

I'd give the Chargers 65/35 odds here, though.

KC is still favored against anyone. However, the gap from last season has closed. Last year, Buffalo was the only opponent to worry about. I'm not sure the Chiefs are significantly better than any of these teams, unlike 2020.

I actually think this sets up well for the Chiefs.

Having two teams eliminated from the Bills, Pats, Bengals, Colts is great.

The Titans will also have their hands full in the divisional round.

I like our chances.

If the Raiders beat the Chargers - we get the Colts?

Yes...unless the Colts lose to the Jags...which is the least likely of the upsets.

I want the Titans.

Also...I'm still not sure that the Titans are any more of a sure bet on the Texans this weekend. Divisional games are always more competitive then prognosticated - it's why we know the Chiefs can't sleep-walk into Saturday's game.

I’d rather play them too but the bills are red-hot right now. I think they will beat the titans before we have a chance to pay them.

Who wants it first?

Chiefs win and SD wins, KC plays SD in week 1. Tough matchup.

Chiefs win and LV wins, KC plays Indy.

Chiefs rest starters and lose the Broncos, they host NE. Actually, probably the best matchup.

Chiefs will go all out to win 2nd seed. It brings the possibility of 3 home playoff games. 1st seed is still also a possibility the way Texans have played recently.

NFL wants a Mahomes / Rodgers SB with a ton of state farm commercials. They'll get us there.

I can't take the Titans seriously.

Even if they hold on to the #1 seed, I still say they are prime for getting knocked out after their first game.
