I went to a Tech concert in Maryville while I was at school at Northwest. Best concert I've ever been to by far. Small venue, amazing sound and energy.

I saw tech N9ne at P&L the Friday night before SB LIV, it got me ****in hyped!!!!

Been to two Tech concerts in last year, my GF really loves him but not sure why the Chiefs didn't help him out more. Bad set up, not on field, no background just fans, no choreography.

I've seen Tech in concert a few times. Usually a great performer and sounds like he actually does on the radio, which can be rare in the rap genre. That being said...last night's performance was mediocre at best. I thought the sound stunk, his mic wasn't great, and half the stadium is hitting the head or standing in the beer line so crowd participation was pretty weak too. Thought it would've been better on the field rather than up in the drum area as well.

That being said, the "halftime show" is about as far down my gameday priority list as taking a dump in an Arrowhead bathroom so I couldn't be bothered less by this being a dud.

I've been on a 22gz kick lately. Coach da Ghost. Really been into the Brooklyn drill scene lately. More Cho than Woo.

Problem is, that may be a dead scene now that the feds came and swooped a lot of them up about a month or so ago.

Unfortunately part of what makes their music great is that they are doing the things they talk about in their music. Almost every song by every one of these Brooklyn Drill Rappers is a gang-related diss track based on real events and real people. Which is fairly uncommon in rap, and we haven't really seen that since the 2pac/Biggie days.

Which means they're also getting shot up and locked up.

I'll have to to check them out. I was a big fan of popsmoke RIP

Also, if you've heard of Pop Smoke, understand that the Brooklyn Drill Scene is what created Pop Smoke. He's not even the best one, just the one who got the most famous.

Pop Smoke = Woo.

Cho = GD's, the guys who shot Pop Smoke. I prefer their music. And they're the originators of that music scene too.

Tech is a good dude and KC supporter and Chiefs and Royals fan. He shows up often on one of KC news stations and supports KC area. My Sis had this on a 45 when we were kids.

We enjoyed it here. I put the YouTube link on the TV for halftime. My oldest was wearing an old Jared Allen jersey I had signed by Tech when he was up here for a concert and the two boys and I watched a Chiefs game with him, Kaliko, and someone else before his concert. Hung out with them after the concert too until about 4am, which was a pretty awesome experience.

One thing I thought was weird though is it didn’t seem like he crowd was involved at all, not sure why I was really expecting to hear the crowd into it. Red Kingdom was an awesome addition.

You have to wonder what the thought process was behind Applebees deciding it would be a good idea to make a 2+ minute version of a commercial that most people mute or turn off 1-2 seconds after they can find their remote.
