Not a fan of McDaniels , Don't like how he ran the Donks, Don't like how he did the Colts wrong but he is not 33 years old anymore, He does script a good game, and he was very effective in the red zone. Raiders needed a change, Olson had to go and as much as I liked Bradly , 26th ranked D won't cut it. I am more concerned about who he installs around him. He will have to have a helluva offense to win me over.

I would say the latest round of coaching hires says the NFL might as well dump the Rooney Rule because no one pays the least bit of attention to it and they're not even pretending anymore.

The guy failed in the AFCW once. Why in the world would he think he can do better this time with Mahomes and Herbert in the division?

There are some positives but the fact that NE didn't miss a beat without McDaniels, how badly he struggled with the Broncos, how awful his Rams offense was, and in general how poorly NE assistants have done without Belichick renders concerns.

I think JM is a great OC but I don't see him as a leader of men.

Teams aren't having problems hiring black GMs. We got two this cycle and one last cycle. So the NFL is assuming more black guys with power will make it so we get more black head coaches. But all of those black GMs have hired (or appear to be hiring) white head coaches.

The NFL is doing everything it can to get more minority candidates hired. I think they need to seriously assess this draft pick rule in about 5 years and ask if it's actually working. Right now it's not.

Thats my worry with any coaching change nowadays , I would have preferred coach B because the players loved him and fought for him so hard , JM seems like a Prick to me but I hate the cheatriots for obvious reasons. Time will tell

My thoughts as well. Should have given Bisachia at least a year-- the man seemed to have the locker room and achieved beyond expectations from what could have been a completely forgettable season.

As much as I appreciate Bissachia, he didn't get any other interviews for HC for a reason.

If he was black, he would have never gotten another chance, especially with that offense in New England this year.

I`m neutral on JM but the more I read on Ziegler the more he intrigues me. I am cautiously optimistic. Hopefully no Carr extension but we will see.......Hopefully he surrounds himself with great coordinators
