That was the worst 3 quarters of chiefs offense this year. They just played terribly. The Chiefs deserved to lose this one.

Total choke job from top to bottom. It's not as easy to win in this league as we've been making it look. The pressure finally got to them.

His play was confusingly bad

Mahomes should be sent to neurotrauma unit after the game. His drop off in play was like if you or I suddenly couldn’t walk or speak.

I've never seen a game where the offense went from awesome to complete atrocity with no real explanation.

He made some unusually bad mistakes on that last drive in regulation.

We had the ball on the 2 twice and didn't score either time, not because of good defense but because of mistakes the offense made. Pityful, just pitiful.

Doesn't matter. If it isn't in the end zone you throw the ball away and kick the FG. Mahomes has to be smarter on that.

Since going up 21-3, KC was outscored by the Bengals 24-3 counting OT. That's unacceptable. They didn't exactly face the 85 Bears defense here.

This loss was on Mahomes, as much as I hate to say it... that second half he pissed his ****ing pants.

Even still, we had a good shot at the end of regulation and I thought Andy made some terrible calls. We should have run one more time after they burned their final timeout.

If we'd have done that, we likely would have been looking at 3rd and goal from within the 5 yard line (if we didn't score on the run).

The game management at end of 4th quarter was awful. They must have instructed him to take a sack instead of throwing it away.

In hindsight, they should have ran their regular offense and forget the clock. They weren't prepared for that scenario.

Mahomes also didn't have to run 10 yards back, do some pirouettes and then run out of bounds on 2 plays.

What gets to me is the fact they could have ran the ball when they had first and goal near the end of the second half and then went cute and had to kick a game tying FG.

Yeah, mahomes and the coaches gave this away.

Our defense still has a problem of toughness. Every time we catch the ball instant contact. Their guys run free and have five yard halos open. Our safeties are either shit or worse way to use them. Basically we play with 9 men of defense.

Mahomes needs to learn hopefully from this.

Hot take but I think he needed a choke job like this at home, I think he doesn't have a second half like this again. I think he comes back from this even better and it gives the whole offense a huge chip on their shoulder for next year

That play at the end of the first seemed to take the confidence out of Mahomes and the offense

I don't fault the play call in the first half. That's on Mahomes, but the play call to pass at the end of regulation on second down, THAT's the questionable play call.

I‘my not sure how he could do such a Jekyll and Hyde act, but when they showed Burrow on the sidelines in the second half, he just appeared to have a much more focused demeanor. This was a game thatwasnt hard to win if we didn’t **** ourselves.

I don’t know how he plays maybe his greatest game from start to finish against a good D and then a week later shits the bed in the second half against a mediocre D. He didn’t need to be Superman, just be efficient and methodical.

So bizarre, so frustrating.

Chiefs fans need to understand that the gap between Mahomes and other QBs like Allen, Burrow isn’t that huge, it is small and fans tend to forget that Mahomes had several games in which he went to full shit mode but fortunately the luck was on his side.

I speculate the Bills OT took a lot out of us, especially emotionally.

He played the second half like Brittany was kidnapped by the mob and he had to throw the game.

We are not in the playoffs without him but 2nd half Mahomes was mid-season Mahomes.

Burrow made some great scramble plays to convert first downs instead of getting sacked. I would say he’s more than a game manager.

If you look back a couple seasons back, Mahomes was all over the sidelines hyping up the guys around him. If he was on the bench, he was with a coach looking at the I-Pad looking for a weakness for the opponent. Now..... He's just sitting there all by himself. Where the hell is Hill, Kelce, Pringle, etc....? This is just my impression and I could very well be wrong. But, he just doesn't appear to have that "hunger" any more to push himself or his teammates to their limits.
