Rumor: Watson to Seahawks

I think we can safely assume the Seahawks aren’t trading Metcalf.

Ummm that’s a pretty generic rumor and it didn’t need its own thread.

To be fair, Daniel Jeremiah said that everything he’s heard is that he will be a Seahawk when it’s all said and done.

I think it’s says a lot about how they feel about Wilson if they go get Watson.

I get it but “all said and done” could be a year from now. It doesn’t put a date on it.

BWillie 03-11-2022 12:28 PM

Unconfirmed rumor. The Seahawk is a bird.

RealSNR 03-11-2022 12:30 PM

This is known among NFL executives as a "back door" deal

ThyKingdomCome15 03-11-2022 12:39 PM

JudgeReid? Is that you?

Capt_Von_Trapp 03-11-2022 12:46 PM

Houston has much hotter women than Seattle.

RealSNR 03-11-2022 12:50 PM

Details still need to be massaged out between both parties.

One side is trying to force the other to do what it wants. Needs to be consensual in order for the deal to happen.

TomBarndtsTwin 03-11-2022 12:58 PM

And if one team would just pay off the appropriate amount in draft compensation, that would certainly help settle things and move things along. That’s the rub, anyways.

Kman34 03-11-2022 01:02 PM

He is going to need to work somewhere to pay off all those massages…

notorious 03-11-2022 01:06 PM

Seattle better be careful not to blow their load too soon or this could get messy.

Best not to rub the Texans the wrong way and screw up a happy ending.

Wow. Wilson and Carroll kept that shit well hidden because that had to be one of the most toxic relationships in the NFL.

That is true but Seattle women are much better in bed then Houston women. With the lights off that is a win for Seattle women versus Houston women.

Why Not? 03-11-2022 01:44 PM

Nah. It's been pretty common knowledge that they have been at odds for quite a while now. What they did a pretty good job with was not letting it effect the results on the field. That ran out this year.....and Wilson now gone.

They sniffed around Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes. They’ve thought this for awhile, which is ****ing stupid

I'd much rather the Donks have Wilson than Watson.

Eureka 03-11-2022 01:47 PM

Seattle always seems to make big trades every few years so this wouldn't be much of a surprise.

Jerm 03-11-2022 02:21 PM

Watson can literally pick where he goes…he’s isn’t gonna go to Seattle.

FloridaMan88 03-11-2022 02:24 PM

And you can find “rumors”, “speculation”, whatever you want to call it linking Watson to other teams as well.

No one knows shit when it comes to Watson’s situation.

TEX 03-11-2022 02:37 PM

IMO, Watson ends up in Seattle or Minnesota. I said that in the bogus Metcalf trade thread. The safest place for him is Carolina though.

Not really. He can only choose yes or no based on if a team wants him and his shit.

How many teams are really interested at this point. He will not be exonerated on the charges. 22 women may get some money but he will be thought of a s guilty.

Rainbarrel 03-11-2022 05:15 PM

Midget haters

TribalElder 03-11-2022 06:23 PM

seattle can only give what denver gave them

they paid a ****ton for that safety adams or whatever

493rd 03-11-2022 06:48 PM

If true, there’s zero chance they trade Metcalf. Watson being traded to Seattle kinda defeats the “Seattle is rebuilding” narrative.

chiefforlife 03-11-2022 06:54 PM

Seattle doesnt have enough ammo, unless they trade DK and more.

Don't they have four first-round picks in the next two years?! WTF, they have more ammo than anyone.

No, their 2022 first was part of the trade for Jamal Adams. They only have Denver's first this year.

Halfcan 03-11-2022 08:55 PM

How are the massage parlors in Seattle?

That might be a deal-breaker.

I doubt he would have ever gotten reported if his activities had taken place up here.

BigCatDaddy 03-11-2022 09:02 PM

That would make the Wilson deal make a lot more sense. Better and younger player.

I loved Seattle when I was there many years ago. Amazing city with incredible mountain ranges within a short driving distance.

Hopefully, things turn around. It really was the jewel of the West Coast.

Good news: The mountains are the same.

Bad news: The city isn't.

Browns in the race. I’d want to go here if I was Watson

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Add the Browns to the list of teams that could trade for Deshaun Watson. <a href="https://t.co/eOBCmWKq44">https://t.co/eOBCmWKq44</a></p>&mdash; ProFootballTalk (@ProFootballTalk) <a href="https://twitter.com/ProFootballTalk/status/1502442244963545088?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 12, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

^ So is every good QB sans Rodgers going to be playing in the AFC?

Jeez, its an arms race.

FloridaMan88 03-11-2022 10:28 PM

Watson has a no trade clause, I wonder if he would use it to force his way to a team of his choice or if at this point he’ll go anywhere away from Houston just to resume his career.
