Chiefs new look offense?

Mahomes showed great progress in that regard from midseason all the way to about halfway through the AFC Title Game, when there seemed to be a grand reversion.

He will have the entire offseason ahead to get his mind right, amid rumblings that Andy Reid and the Chiefs will be expected to unveil a new-look offense come September.

The more people I talk to around the league, the more you get the sense of a philosophical shift for the #Chiefs. They got bigger at WR with JuJu and MVS. "They can morph into something different" said one AFC exec I spoke to. "Mahomes can make it work. That's why he's THE GUY."

The little guys are a thing of the past in KC.

Smurf WR's as they were called. The NFL is very trendy. With that said, Chiefs got a lot bigger on the OL last offseason that worked out very nicely, big kudos to Veach. This year they're getting bigger at WR and... I must stop now. I'm still in shock over the Tyreek trade. I'll never really get over that.

New offense is gonna be a problem for all the teams that have gone all in to stop and top the Chiefs. Now their DC’s have players to slow down the offense of the last 4 seasons, and Andy is about to throw a big ****ing wrench in those game plans. Mahomes is gonna go scorched earth on the league after the AFCCG last season. And the new scheme/offense is gonna have teams on their heels. Looking forward to the evolution of the offense and the best player in the league.... Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes will look more for the open guy and not just Hill or Kelce. Yiu could see on film him ignoring players wide open and just threw it to Hill. This is his next step in becoming even more dangerous.

TEX 03-31-2022 06:24 PM

This won't even matter if it comes with the old look defense.

Yup. Pass rush went dead and it killed our defense. Veach must somehow get a better rush.

Exactly. The pass rush makes everything else better. It's going to be more important this year because I'm thinking the offense won't score as much.

We need to draft a stud at Right Tackle- I don't trust Wiley or Niang.

I'll bet you four bags of boar jizz our offense is just as productive a the last four years. Mahomes is what drives this O. Period.

This offensive line (+ upgrade RT) is going set the tone for our offense with tenacity. I ****ing love Trey Smith and he looks to enjoy pancaking anyone and **** them up. We can do anything we want to do on offense with this offensive line.

Sassy Squatch 03-31-2022 07:06 PM

Not London. Watson.

Rasputin 03-31-2022 07:36 PM

First few picks beef up the D line and pass rushers then we can find a tall body WR that can leap snag balls in the end zone when when get in the red zone.

We have speed guys that can torch defense. If our philosophy indeed changes then that means watch for Clyde Edwards-Helaire have a monster season and if not him we will have someone Vlearch will have able to run the rock. I'm confident in CEH even if no one else is and of course he has to stay healthy to prove it.

I swear this ****ing offensive line is going be our bread and butter to the season and open this offense wide open being run or pass. Patrick is well known for torching on coming pass rushers and again this offensive line is going **** people up. I know Brown needs work on his pass protection but he is still a beast of a man and he will make his presence known as well. That's what he will be getting paid for.

I haven't been so stoked for an offensive line than what we had with Dick Vermeil. This is exciting and they will keep getting better as the year and years they stay together as young as they are.

The NFL is about to get an enema shoved up it's ass.

I'll call your four and raise you two. I'm betting it won't be. I hope you're right
