smithandrew051 04-30-2022 11:33 AM

Someone on here was pounding the table for him, right?

RINGLEADER 04-30-2022 11:34 AM

Good pick and value here.

Chief Northman 04-30-2022 11:34 AM

This secondary is no joke

Sassy Squatch 04-30-2022 11:34 AM

Holy Shit that's a big ass CB

RINGLEADER 04-30-2022 11:34 AM

We need to bring back Melvin Ingram and one other solid vet for the D-Line rotation and we're good.

I’ve been banging the drum since day 1. I’m ecstatic.

ThyKingdomCome15 04-30-2022 11:37 AM

I was thinking Woolen here, this guy is also big lol. Clearly Veach likes his tape better. Also, Williams was the only D2 prospect at the Senior Bowl. We all know how much the Chiefs love that. They got a good look at him and pulled the trigger. I like it.

Jerok 04-30-2022 11:37 AM

Wow almost 6'3 and 4.5 speed? Let's train him up and continuenour late round corner extravaganza!

Iconic 04-30-2022 11:37 AM

IDK anything about him but if anyone knows DBs it's the staff that made Fenton, Sneed, and Ward into ballers. Nice.

I really wanted Zyon McCollum but I trust veach when it comes to CBs mid to late round. This looks like a Spags type CB.

This is a sneaky good pick. He seems to read routes and the QB very well, and has great recognition, but also very good make-up speed.

And he isn't afraid to come up and put a hit on anyone.

Yeah - I prefer McCollum but this is a good pick. Not who I’d have taken but a good pick in a vacuum.

Another that tracks with their floor over ceiling approach to the draft though.

Everything looks great about this pick. Veach getting amazing value.

So far this draft...only one offensive player taken--defense is getting a huge influx of talent, and the one pick for the offense fills the biggest need there.

Loving this draft so far--high floor players that can contribute right away.

Gronk is one of the best TE of all-time so that’s really not even a dig on Berry.

Plus, Berry actually got the better of Gronk in that 2017 week 1 ass whooping we put on the Pats in New England. He pretty much erased Gronk up until he blew out his Achilles’.

Daaaaamn. Hadn't heard him interviewed. Seems like a super smart kid with tons of poise to go along with that freakish ability. Watching how smoothly he flipped his hips in the back-peddle during the combine sold me a couple months ago. Elite hip flip, especially for someone that big.

I remember him more as a great box safety, who excelled at playing center field, who occasionally had some success in coverage.

But, I don't remember coverage being a real strength for him. Saying a safety CAN cover tight ends is not the same as saying the safety is great at covering tight ends.

Maybe you are referring to the brief times before he tore his ACL and missed the 2011 season.
