First!
|
I-35 shutdown!
|
Hell yea.
Pest is happy! |
Jizz everywhere!
|
This is a sneaky good pick.
|
Someone on here was pounding the table for him, right?
|
Good pick and value here.
|
This secondary is no joke
|
Holy Shit that's a big ass CB
|
We need to bring back Melvin Ingram and one other solid vet for the D-Line rotation and we're good.

6'3? Damn

I’ve been banging the drum since day 1. I’m ecstatic.
|
I was thinking Woolen here, this guy is also big lol. Clearly Veach likes his tape better. Also, Williams was the only D2 prospect at the Senior Bowl. We all know how much the Chiefs love that. They got a good look at him and pulled the trigger. I like it.
|
Wow almost 6'3 and 4.5 speed? Let's train him up and continuenour late round corner extravaganza!
|
IDK anything about him but if anyone knows DBs it's the staff that made Fenton, Sneed, and Ward into ballers. Nice.

This dude is gonna block all the field goals of the kickers taken in the 4th so far. Vartch with the 5D chess lolol

Someone post a website that had him ranked top 3 overall in the draft or some shit.
|
I really wanted Zyon McCollum but I trust veach when it comes to CBs mid to late round. This looks like a Spags type CB.

The Chiefs have had success with Day 3 cornerbacks. Here's a great one -- Fayetteville State's Joshua Williams. Now if we can just get Smoke Whatshisname in the 7th, I'm good.

I’m more than excited about this pick than all of the others.

Smoke Monday I watched him at Auburn. This kid can play! Please Veach take him soon

My friend who coached DBs in college just texted me.
"You stole another one. He's real." |
This is a guy me and Pest were talking about taking at the end of day 2 when they have 94 and 103.
Chiefs continue to get value. |

I was hoping we'd get another DB and one with some length. Hell yeah
|
Bit of a gamble given the level of competition but these are the picks you swing on upside. Could be great, could be a JAG. Definitely others I'd have preferred but again no real complaints.

professional af. he's definitely going to play up to his potential. |
The Broncsification of the Chiefs begins.
|
Wonder if he can cover TE’s?
|
Just a sophomore as well.
This team is built nice for the future |

Hey-just wanted to point out that your guy Shakir is still on the board while teams are drafting kickers and punters. :thumb: |
Yes

Someone was asking earlier if McDuffie could cover Keenan Allen, well I think this is your guy for that |
RIP Franchise. Jizzed himself to death. What a way to go.

This is exactly where those guys go, and he could’ve gone earlier. |

Another that tracks with their floor over ceiling approach to the draft though. |

Darnell Mooney doing ok. |

Holy shit, his size/speed combo is niiiiiceee

Big ol dude, Sean Smith 2.0
|
The INT return at :14 shows the vast difference between elite talent and average talent. LMAO
That acceleration...... |

Perfect fit for our new look defense.
We're going to do what the Bengals did to us. |
Everything looks great about this pick. Veach getting amazing value.
So far this draft...only one offensive player taken--defense is getting a huge influx of talent, and the one pick for the offense fills the biggest need there. Loving this draft so far--high floor players that can contribute right away. |

Classic Veach pick- lots of potential to be a good boundary corner

Berry was elite at covering TEs basically his entire career here (when he played, obviously). |

Hell yeah. I will find some numbers for you later. Quote:
Gronk is one of the best TE of all-time so that’s really not even a dig on Berry. Plus, Berry actually got the better of Gronk in that 2017 week 1 ass whooping we put on the Pats in New England. He pretty much erased Gronk up until he blew out his Achilles’. |

great interview |
6'3"
nice that's pretty tall for a CB. Hope it works out, we definitely needed 1 more for depth at least. |

I love Berry. I do remember that game.
I also remember the ones that Gronk was unstoppable and I'm glad he's gone. He's gone right |
D2 corner in the 4th? Oh well in Varch we trust baby

But, I don't remember coverage being a real strength for him. Saying a safety CAN cover tight ends is not the same as saying the safety is great at covering tight ends. Maybe you are referring to the brief times before he tore his ACL and missed the 2011 season. Sent from my GM1915 using Tapatalk |
**** YES
|
I've had my ups and downs on how good spags is. But what he's shown over and over again is he can coach the hell out of DBs. It's exciting to see what he can do with a raw talent like this, especially since he seems very coachable
|
I haven’t bought a rookie jersey since Mahomes. I may get one for this kid.
