Kelce is the GOAT, of course he is going to continue dominating. There's still plenty of weapons on this team to take pressure off of Kelce.

Last year it was just Tyreek and Kelce with Hardman being dangerous sometimes. Now you’ve got a stable of guys who can be decent weapons at worst.

It's hype season. Meaning we have 1 more week until this shit really kicks off. I love Travis so damn much as a dude and as a player. He's truly a Chiefs GOAT in every way of the acronym. This season is so damn cool because of the unknown. A lot to learn about this team this year. I feel like the last couple years we knew what to expect, and although Super Bowl is and should always be our expectation with a healthy Mahomes, this team is just built differently than anything before. Makes it quite a fun thing to see unfold.

Our defense will surprise people. Karlaftis and Chenal in particular, and I think we'll even see improvement from Kaindoh who could become a solid part of the DE rotation. Plus our WR and CB positions are much deeper imo.

I know you're trolling, but Kelce put up 800+ yards in 2014 and 2015 with Alex Smith at QB before Tyreek came to KC.

Kelce then put up 1,100 yards in 2016, still with Alex at QB, when Tyreek was a rookie and not even really being used much as a WR (he only had 593 receiving yards for 9.7 YPR).

He definitely benefitted from the extra attention Tyreek drew, but it's not like he's some schlub.

He will slow down a little, but he will still be good. There are not many good 33 year old TEs in history. I'm expecting around 950 to 1050 yards, couple less TDs. Which is still insanely good but his decline will begin to start. You can't run from father time at TE.

There aren't many good 33-year old TEs? Yeah, and there aren't many good 32-year old TEs either, but Kelce still kicked ass just the same last year.

With players like Kelce who have all this consistent high production with a pretty damn clean injury history, it's stupid to try to guess when the decline happens, particularly just by picking out an arbitrary age. Some people claim he's actually a slower player and doesn't run as fast. Maybe. But that's all the evidence we have.

The decline from Kelce will just happen. But it could just as easily get pushed back a couple years. Nobody can say.

Do you all think perhaps some chemistry issues between the big three (Kelce, Mahomes and Hill) were starting to emerge ? I always thought Mahomes and Kelce were much more “all in” for Andy and the Chiefs than Tyreek ever was. I wonder if some things went on behind closed doors that we didn’t hear about.

The rejuvenation of the two might lend som credence to that.

I really want to see him break some Gonzalez career marks, but he's going to need to play pretty damn well for the next 5 years to have a shot at them.

He's got the QB and the system and now an extra game each year. It's possible. It's definitely difficult, but not out of the question.
