Man i really hope Gay can stay healthy this season. He's the one i'm most looking at for a breakout year. The Chiefs need it and he needs it.
|
Willie Gay is going to abuse opposing offenses like a vacuum cleaner this season.

|
I’m so ****ing ready for week 1.

Allen/Diggs doesn't qualify. This is a Mahomes/JJSS/MVS/Whomever slight. |
I can see why Mahomes/JJSS etc wouldn't make top 5. There's nothing sexy about our new WR's. It's more of a slight to our WR's than Mahomes.
But 8,9,10 are bum**** reeruned. |

How the **** is Brady/Gage better than Mahomes/JuJu? |
Guess i'll be studying some Pacheco tonight. The hype train is full steam ahead.

Is that Wilson and Jeudy?
Jeudy has done jack shit. I should know, he's on my dynasty team. |

Jalen Hurts can barely throw the damn football. He's got some sexy WR's but can he even get them the ball? |

Pacheco could be a savage in this offense. Get that midget Clyde on the bench and get this man on the field!

Just watched gay’s interview and was really impressed also he looks a lot bigger than I realized.
|
Charles ran a 4.38... Pacheco 4.37 and 16 pounds heavier.
Obviously, it takes a lot more than pure speed to be a great RB... but this kid is a burner. Nile Davis ran 4.37 at 225...so stats arent everything. |
How long does Chiefs training camp practice normally last? We were going to come up one day next week but didn't know if it's an hour long, two hours long, there's not much information online. Just when it starts in the morning, but as far as how long each practice usually lasts, it won't give any information. So I'm asking the peeps who've been there so far, what time does practice usually end?
|
Kinnard might just have to be a guard, guys. That was always a strong possibility, and there’s nothing necessarily wrong with it. He’ll be an amazing guard, I’m sure
|
You guys there is nothing to learn from 1 on 1 line drills
|
Quote:
I'm not worried about Kinnard. He's a 5th rounder that we knew was raw, at least for NFL play. My hope is he progresses enough this year to sit Wylie's ass on the bench or better, on a Greyhound out of town. Did BV kill it again with Pacheco? I hope so. Let's get behind those hogs and run the ball right down the other guys' throats!! |

1. there is no reading or reacting for the defender 2. the offensive lineman doesn't have another guy next to him. he's on an island, which literally never happens. 3. there's no QB adjustments, it's just a stationary target at the same drop back depth. |
Mark me down for a Pacheco thrown TD pass this season

Pacheco is a guy that I think will flame out when his lacking vision in real games is put unrest the microscope. I’m not a big fan of his, but Bienemy has taken marginal RBs and madd them into competent players snd in some cases borderline stars.
In videos I watched of Pacheco in college, his vision was terrible. I’d love to be wrong about him, but I still see the Rb room as follows, in terms of overall ability… 1) McKinnon 2) Jones 3) Clyde 4) Pacheco |

Assuming the vision thing is real of course, and not just some made up CP shit. |

I was there on the first day in pass snd focused on him multiple times and was consistently disappointed in his ability to compete with anyone on our DL. Quote:
I had to ask who 84 was at least twice. |
Now I haven't watched film but from what I understand, Pacheco's vision problems had a lot to do with getting the ball and immediately being hit by like four guys in the backfield. Like, he had happy feet because he was desperate to just get to the line of scrimmage.
That's not a great way to test vision for a RB in my opinion. |

Yeah that Rutgers team, specifically the O-line, was horrible. I feel like we may have gotten a steal in the 7th. A Bernard Venkman special, if you will.
|
Quote:
Pacheco looks like he has great hands and can get to the edge and make people miss in space. My gripe with him is it doesn't look like he knows how to set up blocks and make something out of nothing...which I think you have to do in the NFL unless you play for a team like the 49ers |
How good of a pass-blocker is Ronald Jones? That could put him over the top if he's on the bubble, but if he sucks, who he is beating out to get a roster spot?
