The jaguars and raiders play tomorrow, but then also play the next 3 weeks after that? Why do they get 4 preseason games and everyone else has 3?

I know it's like the "Hall of Fame game" or whatever, but there are Twitch streams of Madden that have more importance than that game.

The HOF game thing has been a long time running. And it's always been the first preseason game of the year, a week before the other teams start preseason. And the teams in it get an extra preseason game because of it so usually play almost entirely scrubs.

I watched a few Hall of Fame games in the 90s. They were not good.

At this point, I think you actually can. They haven't cut the rosters down yet so there are enough guys to suit up without the starters.

Only good thing about it is my team got extra training camp out of it which makes it easier to implement the new schemes.

Think of it this way. If you were a female and you were trying something for the first time then the guy you were with put just the tip in slowly you'd appreciate that.

This is what the NFL is doing to you with the HOF game.

How could you not be aware of the HOF game? I definitely understand not watching it and/or thinking it's dumb, but to be completely unaware of it?

I get excited football is back, then 5 minutes into the first quarter, it's so anyway... and flip over to baseball or something.

I really haven't been paying attention. I know the HOF game usually includes teams with a key player getting inducted into the HOF, to help with attendance at the game from fans of that team. Who from the Raiders and Jags are being inducted? Boselli maybe for the Jags?

As lame as this game is, it's still going to be 10X more entertaining than the Pro Bowl.

Is the question if you’re drunk tonight? Or if you’ve been drunk your entire life? How have you never heard of the HOF game if you are a fan of the NFL?

I think because of the change to 3 preseason games I just never noticed TBH. Now that they have singled out the game for one entire week compared to how I'm assuming it used to be made it more apparent.

Regardless though this game seems no different than a regular boring preseason game so I'm not surprised I never noticed.
