While I enjoy Discord, there are a few in the channel that have streams about 30-45 seconds ahead of everyone else and every big play gets spoiled.

That said, I still find myself joining and celebrating big plays after they happen on my tv.

I agree with this there are times I put my phone down to avoid it. But we do have a purpose to drive everyone to it cause sometimes on of the guys will stream the local broadcast. Which almost entirely removes the delay.

Cautiously optimistic that stream quality will be really good. Amazon is broadcasting at 1080p60, which if no hiccups, should be superior to a network feed. Apple TV's MLB games blow away network feeds (the announcing crew is a different story) at 1080p60. I assumed they were 4k because they are so good, but they're not.
