Why wasn't Pacheco played ?

Saving him er wut?

ToxSocks 10-11-2022 02:30 PM

Because he's 3rd on the depth chart and McKinnon looked good last night.

Shoulda fed McKinnon more instead of CEH.

In58men 10-11-2022 02:31 PM

Reid game plans for different players. We didn’t need him, keep him fresh.

Pitt Gorilla 10-11-2022 02:31 PM

His one carry for 0 yards wasn't particularly impressive.

Graystoke 10-11-2022 02:32 PM

Rookie and keeping him fresh.

Hog's Gone Fishin 10-11-2022 02:33 PM

Playing him and Mckinnon would be lethal. **** CEH!

Marcellus 10-11-2022 02:34 PM

My guess is the OL was so bad in the first half he didn't want him in on pass protection.

htismaqe 10-11-2022 02:38 PM

It was a tight game, against a division opponent, and we had pass protection problems. Pretty easy to see why a rookie late-rounder didn't get much play.

This.

As much as people shit on CEH (rightfully most of the time) he's a pretty good pass blocker.

smithandrew051 10-11-2022 02:43 PM

Because I started him in Fantasy this week

WhawhaWhat 10-11-2022 02:48 PM

Gout.

KChiefs1 10-11-2022 02:49 PM

Skyy Moore even returned a kickoff last night too. Pacheco really got the night off.

Not gonna lie, my heart was in my throat until he caught it and was safely down

dlphg9 10-11-2022 02:55 PM

Pacheco has been excellent in the times he's had to pass block.

Doesn't mean they're going to just throw him out there regardless of the situation. He's still a late-round rookie.

This... I mean if you see that CEH is only good for two yards per carry (I haven't seen his stats for the game) then you need to change it up.

except for when he stands in the middle looking for someone to block while not helping pick up either of the two DEs that just torched our Ts

He always looks like he’s a nose hair away from fumbling.

McKinnon had one of those too.

Yeah this is probably the reason

loochy 10-11-2022 03:12 PM

The OL magically gets better if effective runs start happening

And I don't mean that stupid zone shit

Demonpenz 10-11-2022 03:34 PM

Raiders were playing way off the ball and we still couldn't run it because raiders lb just shot the gaps and OL sucked

Eleazar 10-11-2022 04:08 PM

McKinnon is better

Toad 10-11-2022 04:15 PM

It’s about trust. Pacheco does not have a great deal of it with Andy quite yet

Andy must have a shitload of 2nd-and-9 plays that he just loves.

Kman34 10-11-2022 05:50 PM

He's going to wreck the Bills..

Same! And Tee Higgins! and I still won!

dlphg9 10-11-2022 07:35 PM

I really hope that we are just saving him for the end of season/playoffs and just trying to keep him healthy and strong.

Rotation was confusing.

McKinnon should have been the guy in the second half. He also shouldn’t be our goal line or short yardage guy. It was less about Pacheco not getting fed yesterday and more about ceh and McKinnon being used in weird situations

BigRedChief 10-11-2022 08:38 PM

At our chapter we were so pissed at the 1st down play calling. CEH up the middle for two yards. Down 17 points, don’t take the ball out of Mahomes hands.

ChiliConCarnage 10-11-2022 08:51 PM

His role seems to be used more when leading for now. Plus, McKinnon really gave us a spark last night.

Probably but hes 30. Has an injury history too. I want him fresh as possible and would like his carries limited. I wouldn't mind all 3 RBs having a similar amount of carries.

I'd beg to differ. McKinnon is a vet. That's the only reason why he got more playing time than Pacheco.

poolboy 10-11-2022 10:09 PM

Mckinnon had it going on, thats why

I was pissed about the first round runs LONG Before we were down 17.

Not sure on that. Pacheco goes just as hard in protection as he does running the ball. The guy attacks blitzers with a psychotic vicousness.

Now, fumbling the football, that's probably the bigger concern in a game we started so slowly in. Going down 17 without turning the ball over is impressive enough in the fail department. Don't need any turnovers to stack with the poor execution.

Either the game script got a way from them or Louis Riddick is our Minister of Misinformation
