Chiefs 69-0

FlaChief58 10-12-2022 04:20 PM

This one's tough, but I'm going with the Chiefs in a shootout 38-34

We're going to make orphans of their children

RaidersOftheCellar 10-12-2022 05:12 PM

Mahomes plays angry because Vegas had the audacity to make him a home dog.

The tackles decide they’ll do us a favor and earn their checks. OBJ only gets blown by 32 times.

McDuffie returns and makes both Davis and Diggs his bitches.

Karlabundle of sticksous breaks out with two sacks.

31-27

TEX 10-12-2022 05:16 PM

IMO, Buffalo wins something like 34-24. They win the majority of the position groups and they can negate the huge advantage KC usually has at QB. Their defense is going to cause our offense problems, and their offense can put up lots of points while that is going on. They also have a home run hitter in Diggs that we lack. Their #2 WR is also better than all of our WR's. I get why Buffalo is favored, as they are the most complete team in the league. BUT on any giving Sunday, anything can happen, especially with Mahomes. KC also seems to rise up to challenges. So, I can see KC winning, but I'd be somewhat surprised if they did.

I can't vote for the Bills to win but to be honest...I'm very afraid they will

Agree with all this but the #2 WR comment.

Regardless, we can win, but we'll need to play a perfect game and I'm not convinced we're ready for that quite yet.

I like the 34-24 prediction and I'm righ there. And I'll be okay with that.

We'll be in better position to face them in the playoffs.

Megatron96 10-12-2022 06:58 PM

I don't have an easy feeling about this one. But Trey is slated to play as of this moment, and Butker looks like he's going to suit up, and BUF will be missing a few of their starters on defense, so that might be enough.

And Mahomes is just a monster when he's the underdog. So I got KC winning, 38-36.

I agree and Allen is going to run all over us as well picking up key first downs all game long IMHO.

Bills

RunKC 10-12-2022 07:19 PM

Had this as our only for sure loss since the schedule came out. This is Buffalo’s marked calendar game. They’re gonna be really pissed off coming back here.

That’s okay bc we’re getting rd 2 in 3 months

Yup by the time the playoffs roll around the rookies in the secondary will be more seasoned and guys like Brown/Smith will be healthy. Those pathetic bitches can celebrate their little regular season accomplishments like last year. We play for something bigger and will put it on their ass when it matters

Red Dawg 10-12-2022 07:26 PM

We lost this game last year and still hosted the big one. Could happen again even we come up short.

Bills win 31-27

InChiefsHeaven 10-13-2022 05:31 AM

Chiefs can win, but this is not a slam dunk. I said in another thread, our offense gets better every week, but we're not there yet. I feel like this is a game we could lose, and even though its at home, I could live with it. We'll see these ****ers again in the post season, and that's when you unleash hell.

The Chiefs are getting better every week against one of toughest schedules in history for the first 8 games. After the bye, I expect the Chiefs to really start wiping out the world. This Sunday, I'm calmly expecting a good game with the result in question. I can't predict a Bills win, because that just feels wrong to do. So I'll say Chiefs in a close one that could go either way.

Butker isn’t playing

louie aguiar 10-13-2022 07:13 AM

I don’t think we will be able to slow down the bills offense much. I expect to see JA convert plenty of 3rd and 4th and short plays with his legs like he always seems to do against us. On offense the bills have a good deep defensive line which will win its fair share of snaps to hold our offense a few times. Bills win 34 -24.

Misplaced_Chiefs_Fan 10-13-2022 07:25 AM

I hadn't seen him declared out yet, unless I missed something late last night.

I know he's currently "limited" at practice.

Sure, he may miss, but until he's "out", I have my dreams.

I thought someone said he was out. I could be wrong though. I hope you’re right and he plays. We could certainly use him.

htismaqe 10-13-2022 07:54 AM

I always err on the side of caution, so what the hell. Chiefs by 10.

PHOG 10-13-2022 08:38 AM

Chiefs 38-33, Bills try a 2 pointer to get within 3 and fail as J Allen is stuffed at the goal line by Mr. Bolton. Chiefs RUN out the clock. :thumb:

FloridaMan88 10-13-2022 08:43 AM

Buffalo has been obsessively focused on this game for 10 months... similar to last year's regular season match-up.

They also have an extra day's rest coming into this game after they played a glorified exhibition game on Sunday.

Despite all of that... the Chiefs will win.

Chris Meck 10-13-2022 08:49 AM

My gut tells me this match-up is too soon in the season for us to win.

We're rolling with a lot of rookies; and I think The Bills are at this point in time more complete. That is to say, more consistent right now.

They are who they are right now; and we are not yet what we will be come January.

That's exactly my take. Buffalo is the best it will be right now. We have tons of new faces and can get better as the season goes on. I think KC is much better come Jan. and will be more capable in the rematch.

I don't know if they're the best they will be right now, considering all the injuries they have. They could get better. But at full health you're right, they're pretty much at their ceiling whereas the Chiefs have a lot of growth vectors still available.

mabbott 10-13-2022 09:23 AM

This will be a tough game. Turnovers could be the item that decides the game. Who knows when Josh Allen is going to get hit really hard and realize how much he is reducing his career with the way he runs.

Like it has been said, the Bills want this badly and they tend to do well against us in the regular season. I always want the Chiefs to win, but I'll take a win against the Bills in postseason versus in the regular season all day.

493rd 10-13-2022 09:33 AM

Chiefs rookies versus Josh Allen and the Bills potent offense? Seems more like a 10-14 point win by the Bills at this point. I’d feel better if we had Gay, McDuffie, and Butker going. It’s possible we get McDuffie but dude hasn’t played since week 1 and this probably isn’t the best scenario for him coming off an injury. I’d be okay holding McDuffie and Butker out of this one matter of fact. If we lose oh well we’re still 4-2.

ReynardMuldrake 10-13-2022 10:31 AM

Buf wins by a field goal, 44-41. KC runs the table the rest of the season, finishing 15-2. The AFCCG is played at home, KC beats Buf 38-30 in the rematch and then goes on to beat Philly in the SB, 23-17.

TLO 10-13-2022 10:39 AM

I'm not confident that we win, but I wouldn't be surprised if we did either. I think this is the first time in time since PMII has been our QB that I'm picking against the Chiefs. I hope that comes back to bite me in the ass.

Bills 34
Chiefs 31

ChiTown 10-13-2022 10:40 AM

We just can't start the game off against the Bills like we did against The Faid. You aren't going to recover getting down 17 early to the Bills - far too many weapons on both sides of the ball, and a better Coaching Staff than Vegas.

I have the Chiefs winning this game in a tight one.

Pablo 10-13-2022 10:40 AM

When you’ve got Mahomes on your team you may as well pick your team to win every single game. Makes the week a lot more fun that way

Chiefs 30-24

LOL. As if Tom Brady will allow Philly to make the SB this year.

1COOLDOG 10-13-2022 01:16 PM

Bills win: 44-17

Chiefs MVP: QB Chad Henne -- only because he's one of the few KC offensive ball-handlers who isn't involved whatsoever in any of the 5 team turnovers in the game

Marcellus 10-13-2022 01:21 PM

We are going to do what Indians have always done to Buffalo. Hunt and kill them, eat their flesh, and make blankets and clothes out of their fur. We are going to put them back on the endangered species list after this game.

Chiefs 38 Buffalo 27.

Rausch 10-13-2022 01:36 PM

I see Buffalo winning a close one 35-30 perhaps.

I'm not so much worried about this game. I'm more worried about winning in the post season. Perhaps losing this game helps give us the motivation we need to do that. Like last year...

mililo4cpa 10-13-2022 02:19 PM

No idea how this is going to go. Bills are an excellent team no doubt, and I'm sure still have the chip on their shoulder from the playoffs last year.

But with that said, it's like everyone has already crowned them this year, when, in fact, they've won exactly jack and shit up to this point.

So I kind of feel that at some point the Chiefs put on a hunter mentality (as opposed to being the hunted) and do something to re-establish themselves as the alpha dog in the AFC. They sure as hell have to be tired of hearing all the Bills talk, and how great Allen is, the Bills awesome defense and even awesomer offense. It's the type of hyperbole that Patrick Mahomes feeds off of.....It is very likely that Pat can and will put the team on his back and do just that.....

So I have the Chiefs winning by less than 7, but in all honesty, I don't think there is a single result that would shock me regardless of who wins:
-Bills blow out the Chiefs: "welp, happened last year and we were just fine" or "championships aren't won in Oct"
-Close game either way:"one for the ages! exactly the type of game we expected"
-Chiefs blow out the Bills: "don't ever make Pat a home underdog again"

none of those outcomes would be a shock to me

Iowanian 10-13-2022 02:25 PM

I'm not confident enough to say the Chiefs will win. Buffalo is playing very well right now.

The OL performance is a pretty huge thing. They cannot play as poorly as they did for the first 20 minutes against the Raiders. Need a much stronger start to the game in the trenches, similar to the Chiefs OL in the Bucs game.
