Let's talk about the Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars, to be specific.
|
They suck.
Will be a disaster if we don't win. |
we will rape them
|
KC Chiefs will win. I guarantee it!
|
They beat the Faid.
|
Chiefsplanet always seems shocked when NFL games are close ROFL
|
Stop Etienne and they should win.

Shit. Another AFC South team.
We'll win by 40 for sure! |
Should win it easily. Which is why I'm scared as shit to play them. This team has a tendency to lose to teams thry have no business losing too. Plus florida....we suck there.
|
Chiefs should win but we seem to have an issue where we play awful against bad teams.

They've been in every single game. They're 3-6 but they're actually +21 scoring which is 6th in the AFC depending on what Baltimore does tomorrow night. They haven't lost a game by more than one score, even against the Eagles.
Plus Doug Pederson is their coach. They'll probably be prepared for what we'll throw at them. |
He’s a Senior (Citizen) Defensive Assistant for the Jagwads.

Huh. |
It will probably be another ugly game. Just find a way to win. Sure wish they could figure out a better running game. 0-2 yards per carry is brutal.
|
10pt favorites at minimum.

I will be at this football game because Arrowhead has the best Dip n Dots

IDK, this game was so shocking I'm not taking anyone lightly at this point. Lol, the real Josh Allen is this weekend's Justin Simmons without the smack talk.

Not sure which trend wins out, but I'm putting my money on KC for the win:
Jags on the road since 2020: W-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-W-L-L- ? Looks like the Jags have another 15 road losses before they can win again... |

I like the Jaguars, but not this week.

Trevor Lawrence is a woman.

Is Clete the ref?

Can their DL keep our skinny RBs to 1.0 yds per carry?
|
I'll basically miss this entire game.
Chiefs win by a lot. |
Looking for a great Christmas gift?

Besides, we won in Jacksonville last time we were there. Won in Tampa 2 of the last 3 times we visited there. Oh, and we won the mother****ing Super Bowl in Miami a couple years back. So I think Florida has been okay to us, overall. |
the ONLY thing that concerns me about this game is a letdown after a VERY tough win, and both our lines being beat to shit this week
their RB is fast as ****...better fill the gaps |

The Jaguars are 3-6 but have been in every game, having not lost any game this year by more than one score.
But they had also lost 5 games in a row until Dr. McDaniels came to town last week. They've outscored their opponents this year, but they are near the top of the league in giveaways. Probably just an average team in general that could easily be 5-4 with a couple of bounces. |
we'll win, the score will make the game look closer than it is
|
Who's on the Jags DL? Seems the teams that have monster DLs give the Chiefs grief but I haven't heard anything on theirs.

Lawrence turns the ball over a lot, especially in the red zone.

Statistically:
JAX has only played two teams with a winning record, NYG and PHI, and their schedule has been pretty weak to this point in the season. JAX is ranked 8th in total yards/offense/gm (KC is 2nd) JAX is 18th in passing offense, 220.7yds/gm (KC is 1st, 311.18) JAX is 7th in rushing, 146.8yds/gm (KC is 23rd, 103.5) Defensively: JAX is 16th in total defense/gm, 343.4yds/gm JAX is 22nd vs. the pass/gm , 238.5yds/gm. KC is 24th JAX is 7th in rushing defense, 105.3yds/gm. KC is 5th, 102.0 Pts/gm: JAX 19.8, VS. KC 23.6 Gotta cut this short, but concisely: By the numbers; I see a team that relies heavily on their run game, throws only when they need to, trying to protect their young QB from both himself and the team's chances to steal a win. Trevor seems to throw for a decent number of yards, and has a pretty high completion rate, but has still already thrown 6 INTs, and fumbles the ball as well. Young QB mistakes, basically. On defense JAX looks they're fairly stout vs. the run, but kind of porous vs. the pass, especially when you consider the quality of their opponents. MHO at a later date. |

They play everyone close - they have not lost by more than one score all year - and are young and scrappy in a lot of skill positions. But they've never run into the buzzsaw they're about to hit and their QB has a very punchable face so I say KC wins. |
Can we have a stress free home game please?
|
the team is up and coming but tony khan needs a better oline and defense
|
Nantz and Romo are announcing the Chiefs game Sunday.
The Chiefs have had the #1 announcing team for all of their games this season to-date. That probably ends next week though since CBS has both Chiefs/Chargers and Vikings/Cowboys as their late games. |
I feel like this is a franchise that we broke. They haven’t been the same since we beat them in Mahomes’s first year as a starter.
|
Will probably be a nail biter, just like every game we play against AFC teams.
|
You cant spell jaguar without jag
|
My prediction:
Everyone will predict a Chiefs blow-out win, the GDT will be full of negative dipshits wanting to fire the entire staff and front office, and KC wins 27-20. |
This is a game for the Chiefs to show what they can REALLY do and blow the Jags apart.
This game SHOULD be a blowout. |
The Jags defense is pretty stout up front. I expect them to stifle our offense a little bit.

Honestly KC should win and win easily, but they also should have destroyed Indy. KC can’t (and don’t believe they will) overlook Jax.

Their HC is also Pederson so they've got a ton of familiarity with our offense. |

I like what Trevor Lawrence has done this season. He's got a good coach and his offensive line has been built up pretty decently. He's not a sitting duck anymore with a coach asleep at the wheel.
I'm just not crazy about their receiving options. Marvin Jones and Zay Jones are fine, they're fine, but I don't think they can break you even on their best days. Christian Kirk is the kind of WR that has given us problems all season, but I wonder if McDuffie is a solution to that. I think the biggest thing here is Travis Etienne. If he explodes, this game suddenly gets insanely competitive. But he's a finesse RB, and I think this team is built better for finesse run games than aggressive pounding rungames. Our linebackers (aside from Chenal, who honestly the Chiefs should bench for Harris) are pretty good at gap filling. Thornhill and Sneed in run support on the edges, I like our chances there. The biggest solution to Etienne, though, is just Mahomes getting up early. If the Chiefs get up early and Lawrence has to win the game for the Jaguars, it's going to be a boatrace blowout for the Chiefs. The Jags' defense is good against the run, but I actually think we can gash them on the ground. I like their DL, but I do think that if the Chiefs just decide to run Pacheco down Devon Hamilton's throat, I don't think they can stop us. Obviously, so long as Mahomes stays clean against a decent passrush, he can pass anywhere he wants. But I think this is a game where Pacheco surprises everyone with a 16-carry, 100-yard game. TL;DR: I think the Jaguars can challenge our defense, but Spags and crew should be up for the challenge. And I think Pacheco surprises everyone with a mean run game, and Mahomes plays a competent, quiet 250-yard passing game on like 21-of-27 passing or something like that. |

Like a 34-21 type game. |

If the Chiefs get up two scores early against them, like they did this past week, the Jaguars aren't clawing their way back into this sucker. Get up early and it's a boatrace. |

this is probably gonna be a close game. the jaguars havent lost a game by more than one score this year, they’re better than their record might suggest.

Doug Pederson wants to lighten Travis Etienne's workload
https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl...d/ar-AA13S9cn\ Doug Pederson wants to use backup running back JaMycal Hasty, and says It’s a wise decision, as 28 carries is a massive workload for any player and could easily wear down the Jaguars’ rising star Etienne in the backfield. |
Because the Chiefs are obviously superior, this would be a good game to try out a couple things.
Bench Nnadi, play Saunders. Bench Chenal, play Harris. Get some designed plays for Skyy Moore. Good lord, try Wenogho at RT. Please. Give Pacheco the ball 18 times. Let Toney return a couple punts. |
The Jags defensive line has the talent. It's just whether they can actually put it together.

Get your ass in here, Setsuna
