And before you laugh at me, two of our safeties were scored by offensive players (TE Ed Beckman and WR Mikhael Ricks), presumably on special teams plays. |

Yep. Already in the ballot box. Nope. Buck had one safety, and Neil surprisingly never got one. |

The third guy was a defensive lineman, and most of you will know his name. He's not obscure. |

His safety record is negative, at least on scooters. Have you seen those Facebook videos where Harvey Williams takes interview questions? First off, Harvey has a Mt. Rushmore-sized ego. To hear him tell it, he was the greatest football player ever. But he told a story about getting into a fight with Percy Snow in training camp, and he purports Percy Snow to be a Marvel Comic supervillain. He said that Percy was amazingly muscular and amazingly mean. It's too bad that we didn't get to see him put that to use for the Chiefs. |
Tamba Hali or Jared Allen would have been better guesses.

Bill Maas, Dan Saleaumua, and Derrick Thomas are the only three Chiefs with more than one career safety. Derrick had three, and Maas and Saleaumua had two each. |
Coincidentally, two former Chiefs are in a four way tie for the lead with four safeties apiece. JA and JH
