The interview is interesting. Kadarius shows a lot of intelligence with his answers to the football-related questions. And a great work ethic. Think Veach was onto something with this kid.

Does this dude shave his eyebrows and rip out his eyelashes? Dude could give Art a run for his money for the Terrifier 3 lead role.

Kind of what we'd all like Hardman to be. Toney's ceiling appears to be higher.

He's not quite Tyreek explosive (no shit, no one is) but just get the guy the ball.

I don't see that comparison at all.

Deebo is solid and plays like a RB. Toney may be tough but he's definitely more of a finesse guy.

He's got some quarks or whatever, but I think he's just excited to show what he can do.

We all knew he had sick moves but what impressed me most was the ball tracking and how he catches the ball with his hands, decisively even.

He's been a positive influence to the offensive nucleus, for sure!

Doubt he does that on purpose. Could be a number of things as to why he doesn't have them.

Probably also explains why he wears that hood he does seemingly at all times while playing/practicing. Keeps the sweat out of his eyes.

His accent is strange, then I looked up where he's from and it's Mobile, Alabama which if anyone has ever been there it's a unique city of a lot of different cultures and languages meshed kind of like New Orleans.

Very impressed with Toney. He looked like Tyreek out there yesterday and that's no exaggeration. Very fluid, intelligent and slippery. Can catch the high ball in double coverage. Looked very strong.

Especially with Juju going down, hats off to Veach for bringing this kid in. Uber talented and having him locked up for a few more years is insane. Chiefs have a nice blend of talent at the receiver position now and in the future.

I'll go ahead and say it - Toney is a better hands catcher than Tyreek.

Tyreek would have ran out of bounds on the play Toney spun on 2 guys to get 5 more yards.

The glove adjustment tells you a lot. The kid can process information. He's the perfect fit for Mahomes. Shit we have had players that can't run a route and turn their head and look for the ball. This dude is adjusting his gloves and adjusting his route at the same time.

Not fair. By the end of the season I think you might be able to say that the Chiefs traded away Hill and upgraded the WR position, because you JuJu + Toney > Tyreek. Oh and it cost them a fraction of the price and they got draft picks, and cap space in 2023.

Every moment of this play would make it an incompletion for Hardman.

During the Tyreek freakout, the one take that made sense to me was needing a receiver to make a huge play in a playoff game... a true #1 receiver kind of play. The Chiefs may not miss Tyreek most or all of the season, but wait for that 3rd and 12 against the Bills in the 4th quarter of the AFCCG when you need ONE play.

I was thinking right before MVS made a couple of plays that I would consider putting him as the #2 because MVS is so meh most of the time.

That's exactly my point. Guys with great hands can do things body catchers can't. Tyreek can't make that play. He might be able to make a reception out of it but he simply doesn't high point the ball like that.

It's not a versus comment at all. They have 2 different ways of catching the ball. I prefer the way Toney does it. Not saying he's BETTER than Tyreek, just different.

I'm talking about you saying that's a play Tyreek can't make. He made plenty of jump ball catches here. And is still making them.

This is the single thing thats stuck out in my mind ever since the trade. I'm starting to feel a lot better.

You could see that from day one. But I'll give Hill credit - he turned out to be a much better catcher of the football than I ever thought he would based on his hands. And every now-and-then he'd surprise you and reach up to catch a contested ball with his hands.

Trading what amounts as a 4th and 7th for this kid is highway robbery

watching him Run the ball I thought of Tyreek... We have that play back in our playbook now.

It's not to say that Tyreek CANT make a high point pure hands catch, but they certainly aren't the norm.

Tyreek is a predominantly body catcher and that leads to some ricochet tip drill interceptions.

You will see more plays of a ball going through Tyreeks hands into his body or off his fingertips than you will see him rip the football out the air with two hands.

Yeah, I've definitely seen Tyreek go up and highpoint it a number of times.

Not the most articulate chap I've ever heard but he looks like he can play. Really loved that spinning move to avoid the tackle and gain an extra 5 yards on the play. More of that please!
