Andy Reid: Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks Arrowhead Concert

Andy Reid has the weirdest press conference ever. Had no news about Mecole, but broke news about a concert in the summer of 2023. Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks at Arrowhead!

He seems very excited lol

I can’t stand Billy Joel…But I love me some Stevie Nicks. Fleetwood Mac was all that and a bag of chips.

A hallway after a bomb detonates in it.

siberian khatru 11-18-2022 02:24 PM

We're talking about Stevie's septum, right?

Show me on the doll where Billy Joel touched you.

Halfcan 11-18-2022 07:19 PM

Is it 1986 again?

When did Greyhound start running out to Arrowhead?

kccrow 11-18-2022 09:06 PM

Unless the Stevie Nicks from 1977 is walking through that door... nope.

Stewie 11-18-2022 09:28 PM

Yet Taylor Swift broke the ticket system by selling millions of tickets in the flash of an eye.

Best tickets going for $15k+ after market.

Makes sense.

No thanks

I think he just meant he enjoys her music

You damn kids can't find your ass with both hands, I'd pay to hear Stevie Nicks sing the phone book

PunkinDrublic 11-18-2022 11:52 PM

I’d go if it were Uptown Girl, Southern Californias preeminent 80’s Billy Joel cover band.

That’s exactly what I meant. I appreciate your clarification.

Brody Wa 11-19-2022 10:35 AM

There’s no comparison in my opinion. Stevie Nicks is classic rock and Billy Joel is Pop music.

Frazod 11-19-2022 10:50 AM

Dude, she's in her 70s now. Believe me, I've paid to see much, much worse.

I read she had Covid recently, and no idea if just that one song sounded terrible for whatever reason or maybe that one show, etc.... but, overall you have to know when to hang 'em up if your fans are paying out the ass at the Hollywood Bowl (I know tickets to their tour a couple years ago were something like $400-500 in Phoenix).

Granted, based on the comments in that one video, it doesn't seem like many people care.

srvy 11-19-2022 03:54 PM

I was never a Billy Joel fan the true Piano Man was Leon Russel IMO

Stevie was fine I saw her in concert when she was young and still had her voice. She is in her 70s by now.

It's a real crap shoot going to see live acts where the musicians are old. I saw Pat Benatar a few years ago and she was fantastic. Hadn't slipped at all. That's what you hope for. I also saw Eddie Money the year before he died. He really wasn't all that good, but you could tell that he was pouring every bit of energy he had in his performance, and that made it okay. Then you have assholes like Don Dokken, who can no longer sing at all and has absolutely no business performing live. That ****er basically stole from me.

I thought Stevie sounded fine in that video, considering her age and the life she's led. She's probably snorted enough coke in her life to kill a blue whale.

I would've paid good money to see even an old Eddie Money, he's such an underrated artist... dude could do a solid hour or so of hits you know by heart

Pablo 11-19-2022 05:14 PM

I saw Roger Waters like 4 years ago I believe and he definitely showed his age in his range. And he had to do a political rant but I knew that was part of the gig.

All things considered I watched a great show from a clearly aging artist but I'm happy I saw a founding member of PF in concert. Worth the price of admission to see a legend and you gotta figure that sorta shit into the bill.

Just saw a 55yo Billy Corgan the other night (sounded great), along with with Jane's Addiction (63yo, and couldn't tell he's retirement age, even if the music isn't amazing). I've wanted to go see Aerosmith, who still does shows in Vegas... but dude is the same age as Stevie Nicks (74).

But yeah, this is basically me, chasing the great music of my childhood....
