We have a new record holder for most tackles in a season with 180. He just barely beat the old record of 179, which was held by Derrick Johnson.

Congrats to Nick! The kid is probably the most sure tackler that I've ever seen on the Chiefs. He has a chance to be a HOF.

Also, something weird - Derrick Johnson broke the old record in 2011, but on pro football reference he is only accredited for 131 tackles. How did PFR miss 48 tackles. That seems pretty crazy.

But what are your thoughts on Justin Watson's snap count?

Well he was finally bumped down to 22 snaps (37%) last week and then this week he only had 30 snaps (51%). Last week was a good number. This week I can't really say anything because Moore and Hardman didn't play and I'd rather have Toney play more in the post season, so there really wasn't anyone else to take his snaps.

Tackles are a subjective stat and are recorded by each source differently. The team will have a different stat than ESPN, CBS, Yahoo and other sources because most compile their own stats with their people. Some have different criteria for what constitutes a tackle or an assisted tackle or solo tackle.
