Wild stat: Patrick Mahomes is the oldest QB in the AFC Playoffs
Mahomes-27
Allen-26 Burrow-26 Lawrence-23 Herbert-24 Jackson-26 Tagovailoa-24 Even if Jackson and Tagovailoa can't go, their backups are 24 and 25 respectively. |
That's.....weird. Right?
|
And also younger than all but 2(?) in the NFC (or 3 if Grapes is out).
|
The NFL claims to be legit but look at that list. Every player is first when only few of them actually succeed in history. Now they all make the playoffs.
|
Old Man Mahomes is going to dominate.
|
Geriatrick Mahomes
|
That’s crazy. And the oldest QB in the NFC playoffs is old enough to be all of their fathers.
|
Mahomes is the best one
|
Whoa.

Just saying that first round QBS fail a lot but suddenly they are in the playoffs just like that. Thats odd all of sudden and probably not by accident. Nobody picked a bust?
|
Awesome!
I wondered if the top 3 AFC teams are coming into the playoffs on the longest winning streaks ever for the top 3 teams since the bengals/bills did not count chiefs, bengals, and bills all come into the playoffs riding long win streaks |

he's also the sexiest and most well-hung!

Even USC has now abandoned the classic pro style offense and running Air Raid with Leach disciple Lincoln Riley. It will be interesting to see what happens with Caleb Williams in the NFL. |
Old Balls is going to teach these noobs a thing or two.

Patrick Mahomes is like you haven't seen the full extant of my power!
|
If he wanted to make a dent in the GOAT talk he needs on this year before this new squad comes to full potential

That's an amazing stat.
But when I think about it, it makes sense. Once Patrick Mahomes II arrived, every older quarterback knew that they would never win the conference again, so they either retired or took paydays with weak teams. |
Pat is the only Generation Y member, the rest are Gen Z.

I think he was on the cover of the AARP magazine in December...

Pat not old he's the grim reaper!

Every QB in the AFC playoffs is a 1st rd QB.
Only one QB in the NFC playoffs is a 1st rd QB. |
Frankly it is nice to have something new beside TWO ****ING DECADES of Brady Manning and Big Rape.

I hope Mahomes doesn't spit out his dentures if he gets sacked.

Very weird.

The best part about this thread is that we'll be reliving it for another 20 years.
|
Old age and treachery will always trump youth.

Mahomes, in short order, ushered the old guard QBs into retirement (or decamping for the NFC) and promoted other teams to search for their own generational QB. |

Tua- Dolphins barely made it in (see above about 7 teams) Lawrence- AFC South was a joke, Lawrence is by far the most talented QB in that division. Jackson- Makes the playoffs most years, non story Herbert- Was bound to make it eventually. The other three are the 3 best quarterbacks in the league currently. Nothing really surprising or eyebrow raising about this list. |
