Divisional Round Schedule - Sat. or Sun. game?
A very self-interested planning question: Since the Chiefs will be playing a team that plays Saturday, Jan. 14, will they for sure be getting a Saturday game in the divisional round? That's what happened to Tennessee last year.

Sun

better be a saturday game
gives us an extra day to prep for the piece of shit that tries to take away our trophy again |
You'll get what Roger gives you and like it

Roger says TBD. Trying to find a neutral day for the game.
|
Probably won't know until Monday night
|
It looks like CBS had 3:30 Saturday and 5:30 Sunday so I'm guessing one of those. If it's the bills and Bengals I'm sure that matchup would take the ratings precedent and probably be the Sunday night game.
|
We won't definitely be getting a team that played on Saturday will we?
|
I hope Saturday.
|
There's only 1 AFC game on Saturday.

Fair point. |
Saturday prime time game is my guess. 49ers will get the afternoon slot on Saturday. Eagles vs Cowboys/Bucs and Bills/Bengals will be Sunday games.

Bucs/Cowboys winner will play on Sunday for sure. It will be either against the Eagles or 49ers. Which either way both are sexy tv games. Can't see the Seahawks beating the 49ers at all. Giants could throw a wrench in by beating Minnesota. If that happens I see Giants vs Eagles on Saturday at 3:30pm then Chiefs in primetime. Otherwise Minnesota vs 49ers is the least sexy tv matchup and it gets 3:30pm.
|
It's Saturday afternoon CBS (3:30), Saturday night fox (7:15), Sunday day nbc (2:00), Sunday night cbs (5:30).
|
Only possible flip I could see is making the Bills and Bengals Saturday night and putting the Chiefs at noon Sunday. But otherwise I'd bet Saturday and if we're playing Jacksonville it might be the first game Saturday. If it's another team then maybe Saturday night.
|
Bengals at Bills would be the prime time game.

Chiefs would be playing the Chargers or Jaguars on Saturday. Bengals at Bills would be the late game on Sunday. |
