Chargers Mike Williams ruled out for this weekend's playoff game
Just saw an alert. Hahahaha. Brandon Staley is a ****ing moron.
The Chargers are never gonna escape their inherent Chargersness
Woof. That’s tough. I still think they win but they’re a different team when he’s not out there. Rightfully so. He’s ****ing awesome.

He’ll be back just in time to give us heart attacks.
Staley knew he was toast & said **** it
Something like this should really be enough to get the guy fired if they lose.
I mean, I don't want that to happen, but wow. Such a dipshit. |
Chargers are really just one of the dumbest franchises in the NFL. What the hell were they thinking playing him last week?
Chargers gonna Charger
They lose this game and Staley will get canned. Same for McCarthy at Dallas.
Suffered a back fracture so he is out 2-3 weeks.
I wonder if Staley asked the players if they wanted to play, and of course they said yes.
This is where having an actual ex-NFL player like Reid helps vs. a young nerd players' coach. Reid would just say nope, you're sitting. |

Welp, we're on to JAX. Thanks Staley!!!
Dude makes hella acrobatic catches. But when your feet leave the ground like that....injuries happen.
Wow, their fan must be really disappointed.

I see him on Steam every once in a while. |
Wow. Done. Jax gonna beat them.

I think this is the nail in the coffin. Unless they manage to make it to the AFC Title game, the guy has to be gone. |

Reid never played NFL football. He's just not a massive idiot.

Let's be honest. He probably goes down in the Jags game anyway. Broke....dick

Burrow probably not much better without Chase. Season did not start well
Chargers still have Allen, Palmer, Everett and Ekeler so they could still make things difficult for us if we play them but no doubt Williams was the one I'm sure Spags has lost sleep over a few times. Huge loss.

Kid Sheldon is an idiot

Rooting for the Jags

He was a pundit darling for a while after this video. That first year when he went for it a ton on 4th down, he was usually correct by the WP% math (all coaches are still too conservative). But he found out the reason most coaches don't go for it as much as they should - one really bad run and the media goes bananas on you. |
I’ve never seen a WR make a QB like Williams does to Herbert. He bails him out constantly.
Williams is the best WR on the Chargers. He just happens to be hurt a lot. If that mother****er gets his hands on the ball, then he's gonna catch it. I hate playing against him cuz he always catches the ball.
Weird that everyone's bones turn to dust when they become a Charger
LMAO Chargers fans are ****ing pissed.
If they were playing the Chiefs they'd roll his ass out there in a wheelchair.
So, since this is a thread about silly things, can someone tell me if you can see my avatar pic? First timer, so just checking.

Well, that only took like 4 years to figure out. On to the next thing on the to do list! Thx, bud. |

Bolts went 1-5 with a minus 48 point differential against playoff teams, btw.
RIP Chargers
Jags winning for sure.
Well this is good for Herbert and his fans. Now they have an excuse for when he chokes.
If only there was some way to avoid this…
Sammy Watkins thinks Mike Williams gets hurt a lot.
It would be nice if the media held Staley accountable for his team constantly being dogged by injuries.

Fireable offense.
Careful what we wish for. Chargers might be a better option minus Mike Williams than the young upstart Jags with their SB winning HC. Pedersen >>> Staley. Now that Williams is out I’d rather play Sandy Egg O
After Staley’s latest debacle, I wonder if Charger fans (theoretical) now miss “Dinosaurs dad”? What is he doing these days anyway?
Mike Williams loses both of his arms but if the Chargers advance they will grow back for the Chiefs.

Go Jags
Would rather not face the Chargers again |
Quote:
And they have won the same number of playoff games in the last decade as the Jaguars have. |
I may rather play the Chargers again with no Williams but probably not. I think Jags defense isn't as good. I want the worst defense we can get but unfortunately the Ravens have no shot and neither does Miami.
I don’t give a shit which one of these loser ass teams we play.
Chiefs by 20 |

Two players the Chargers could not afford to lose aside from Herbert:
1) Mike Williams 2) Derwin James The loss of Williams is significant as it makes their vertical threat one dimensional. You can double or spy Allen all game long and that's all she wrote. From a Chiefs perspective, this is the best possible news. A fully healthy Chargers offense would've been a problem. |

I’d prefer the Jags still, but that gap isn’t nearly as wide as it would be with Mike Williams. |

I would be shocked if the Chargers win, we might need them to win a game to keep Staley though
If anything, the Chargers probably don't want to play us. To them, we're like Cincy is to us. Chargers always start out good, and end up blowing a lead in the 4th quarter and losing by 3. Mahomes is 27-3 against the AFC West, so I'd gladly take a matchup against them, especially without Mike Williams who always seems to do good against us.

Me likee. Beating jacksonville at home and then only needing to beat the Bills/Bengals to get to another SB? I’ll take that every year please. |

Ugh, I want Jags to win but I think there's a decent chance they fire Staley. He really screwed them with that stupid decision. I'm thinking a close loss by the LAC is best for us. Jags get beat up a little and the LAC owner probably gives Staley 1 more year. |
Marty was the only good coach I can recall them having & they fired him. It's not prime
