Well? Would he?

Mephistopheles Janx 01-13-2023 09:07 PM

Titty Meat 01-13-2023 09:08 PM

Ah, thank you. Dude was on the team when I was just getting into football.

FloridaMan88 01-13-2023 09:20 PM

Sean LaChapelle would have been legendary in this offense.

Also Craphonso Thorpe.

Spott 01-13-2023 09:30 PM

Yes, but Keith Cash wouldn’t stand a chance.

DenverChief 01-13-2023 09:34 PM

Marc Boerigter

I'll never forget his 99 yard TD catch.

scho63 01-13-2023 09:41 PM

What about Bubba Garcia?

scho63 01-13-2023 09:45 PM

Or Emile Harry?

Gary Cooper 01-13-2023 09:55 PM

I still see Lake Dawson jerseys around.

FloridaMan88 01-13-2023 10:03 PM

Mikhael Ricks would have eaten his way to becoming one heck of a defensive lineman.

penguinz 01-13-2023 10:11 PM

What about JJ Birden?

Jewish Rabbi 01-13-2023 10:17 PM

Bobby Sippio

JohnnyHammersticks 01-13-2023 10:21 PM

Trezelle Jenkins could probably give Wylie a run for his money at RT

ChiefsCountry 01-13-2023 10:21 PM

Robb Thomas

Mephistopheles Janx 01-13-2023 10:24 PM

Tamarick Vanover anyone?

MVChiefFan 01-13-2023 10:35 PM

Willie Davis caught the most important TD up to that point in my young existence. I literally had tears in my eyes.

Also, Keith Cash had one of the single greatest plays in Chiefs history when he caught a TD in the playoffs against the Oilers and launched the ball right into a big sign of Buddy Ryan’s face.

Those two can be backups on this team anytime!

ChiefsCountry 01-13-2023 10:38 PM

Tim Barnett

Hammock Parties 01-13-2023 10:40 PM

MVS is 6-4 willie davis

srvy 01-13-2023 10:47 PM

Stephon Paige and Carlos Carson surely stood a chance

jerryaldini 01-13-2023 11:05 PM

Willie would be battling JJS for #1. Willie and JJ. Birden is a pretty good comp for JJS and MVS

srvy 01-13-2023 11:12 PM

Veach would take a chance on Risen

cmh6476 01-13-2023 11:15 PM

Pat would make any nfl receiver better than he is, so yeah.

Mephistopheles Janx 01-13-2023 11:33 PM

Joe Horn on this offense. OMFG.

loochy 01-14-2023 08:49 AM

Dale Carter could fill CB and WR, saving us a roster spot!

Wallcrawler 01-14-2023 09:42 AM

Danan Hughes would solve the punt return issues.

Same with me. I was 13-14 years old. Great moment

Lol, are we talking about the 'tiptoe in and out of the EZ' reception to beat DEN? Yeah, I might've cried too.

Willie would be a nice addition to the current team.

I'd have liked to see JJ Birden with Mahomes, just for the wildly dramatic receptions. JJ was a great receiver if the ball was off-target; he could come up with some improbable catches back in the day, but have issues with the elementary ones. Sometimes drove me crazy.

JimNasium 01-14-2023 11:40 AM

Willie has been a much better scout than player.

Absolutely it was! I was so sick of Elway and the Broncos. Marty was snake bitten by them. It wasn’t like it is now where I fully expect Mahomes to pull out a win in any game, any circumstance. When Denver went ahead with under two minutes to go, I thought it was over.

After the Montana to Davis game winner, Dan Dierdorf said “Lord you can take me now, I’ve seen it all”. That’s when I teared up.

Reminds me of MJ's quote. LMAO

Quote:

A news reporter asked Michael Jordan if he thought the ’90s Bulls could beat LeBron’s Lakers.

MJ: Yes.
Reporter: By how much?
MJ: Two or three points.
Reporter: Why so close?
MJ: Most of us are almost 60 now.

lcarus 01-14-2023 12:06 PM

Since we're just naming random old players now: Omar Easy, Nate Hobgood-Chittick, and my personal favorite...Marvcus Patton. That extra V in his name is everything.
