Can we win the AFCCG with a gimpy Mahomes?
I don't feel great about it, but this team tends to exceed expectations every time they get lowered.
|
Probably not, no.
|
yep
|
yes and also Giga Chad Henne can come back anytime he wants to be Sir Patrick's backup.
|
More playoff experience for rookies either way

Can we win the AFCCG with a gimpy Mahomes?
This team can win any game, because we have a ****ing warrior that’s the best to ever do it leading us.

Yes

I've learned to never doubt Patrick Mahomes. So to answer your question, absolutely.
|
It will make things more difficult, but they absolutely can. Reid has a week to scheme plays for a more immobile Mahomes, they'll figure something out.
|
Pat is a winner therefor we will win.

Mahomes is hurt. The chiefs deserve sympathy. Move the game back to arrowhead. The players had to keep playing despite that sickening injury.
|
**** yes
|
This all depends. It is far to early to form a true opinion.
|
Pocket Mahomes will need to happen sooner or later
|
Caught myself thinking Henne should have come back in. But Patrick did what he had to do. I’ve that ankle for 7 days and then go send us to the SB!

If not, it will be due to our Shit special teams.

Anyone who still doubts this guy is not very wise.
|
Gimpy Patrick Mahomes is still better than just about every other QB.
Maybe if Josh Allen plays like he did last year or if our defense/ST takes a huge ass diarrhea dump. Andy's a smart coach. He'll know how to put us in a winning position. |
With a great game plan, definitely.
Are we preferring better weather in Atlanta now? |

Yes, if the pass rush shows up and the running game is strong.
Today's effort won't be enough. |

My brain says probably not, but my heart says to never doubt mahomes. I’m going with my heart.
|
**** yes.
It’ll be hard but whatever. Mahomes can do anything. And they’ll design an offense around what he’s able to do. Push everything to the absolute limit. As a fan, I feel so much less pressure whatever happens. Proud of this team. |
Prolly not.
Gonna need him healthier than he was today. If he's not, we're probably boned. |
Yes.
|
We need more short kickoffs next week. Definitely a great idea. Keep doing that Dave!
|
You never ****ing doubt Superman
|
I BELIEVE IN PATRICK MAHOMES AND ANDY REID.

Jesus tap dancing Christ. How worthless can he possibly be? |
Yes. I really feel that Pederson was a huge factor for them.

Hell, he couldn't even properly execute handoffs.
|
I sure wish we could figure out a way to pick up first downs in those short yardage situations. It's a problem.

Defenses had to account for his scramble and this makes playing against the Chiefs easier.
His throws, post injury don’t allow a plant foot and this is going to be an issue. Yes, we can win, but our mission just got real tough. |

One legged Mahomes is still a top 3 QB in the NFL. |
Reminder: the teams we will face next week almost lost to Skylar Thompson and Tyler Huntley.

But I really ****ing hate saying it. |

Yeah, but assuming Mahomes is still significantly hobbled, Andy will need to come up with the best game plan of his career.

I get we're running a limited version of our offense. I understand all that. But ****, man... "can't properly execute handoffs"... really? You're acting like he's been reduced to a brain in a jar |

We will be an underdog not matter who wins, but if Mahomes can improve during the week, we have a chance.

If the team can get to the Superbowl they'll have time to rest up, leave it all on the field Bengals or Bills, and become the AFC Champions once again.

I never doubt Patrick but it is going to be super tough.

No, he's not 100%. But he's still Patrick ****ing Mahomes. You see some of those throws he was still able to execute? |
I believe we will be fine. IF it was REALLY BAD, he would NEVER be back on that field. He has a week to recoup and watch film. LET'S FREAKING GO! :thumb:

8 days is an eternity for an ankle sprain to heal up.

I have faith in the multiple high ankle sprain bath bombs. Along with a jazz bath, Mahomes will be fine as long as he doesn't wash the practice jersey.
Let's see how he does over the next week. Special Teams continues to be a problem. |

What if we had refused to finish the game?

Just disappointed we don't get to see his brilliant athleticism in the biggest games. Will be interesting seeing him as a pure pocket passer.
|
Allen won't let himself be a winner. Poop issues as a child?

Bills fan will say it makes up for Von and Hyde. Bengals Oline. Watch it.
Our Oline stepped up when he was hurt. Kept him clean. |
Pat drops his hips and drives hard off his right foot. That ankle is going to be a problem. Hoping like crazy the training staff can work a minor miracle, because the reality is that we probably can't beat either BUF or CIN if Pat is as gimpy as he was at the end of this game.
|
I'm legitimately concerned about it if we play Cincinnati. Not as much if it's Buffalo. Hopefully, it's a regular medial sprain and it is at least partially healed by then. I wouldn't be confident in it being fully healed, he was in a pretty good amount of pain.
