I hope they live!!!

Rain Man 01-29-2023 09:32 PM

It was only 20?

The next two weeks are about healing. I'm sure glad the NFL didn't push the playoffs back out of compassion for the bills.

Bump 01-29-2023 09:32 PM

man we overcame a lot of injuries and banged up players tonight. Andy Reid is a great football coach!

HonestChieffan 01-29-2023 09:35 PM

There is an assload of healing that has to happen

dirk digler 01-29-2023 09:36 PM

Sneed should be ok the rest we have no clue

Graystoke 01-29-2023 09:37 PM

We need the rest.
Doubt will see Hardman again

dirk digler 01-29-2023 09:38 PM

well I just saw JuJu hopping on one foot on TV going back to the locker room after the celebration. That is not promising

thabear04 01-29-2023 09:40 PM

Gay look good whatever injury he had.

SupDock 01-29-2023 09:40 PM

Mahomes ankle today is better than 1 week ago I imagine. That’s good news.

Chiefnj2 01-29-2023 09:41 PM

Can we sign Terrel Owens?

Welp, that sucks. Toney and Hardman are probably the keys though. This offense ground to a screeching halt when they both went down.

TLO 01-29-2023 09:50 PM

Don't want this falling too far down the page.

Gary Cooper 01-29-2023 09:51 PM

Did the Eagles have any injuries today?

Gay had a shoulder but yeah he looked okay. Sneed should be back. Toney probably not, Hardman probably not. JuJu no idea but it’s a knee so who the **** knows. Terrible luck

Shawny2X4 01-29-2023 10:08 PM

Hurts got beat up a bit and then one offensive linemen hurt his elbow. Nothing like what the Chiefs went through tonight, though.

louie aguiar 01-29-2023 10:09 PM

Toney is always getting injured. He can’t stay healthy.

irafreak 01-29-2023 10:11 PM

Well Watson should be back. That should make everyone happy at this point.

scho63 01-29-2023 10:29 PM

Mahomes needs to give all those pussies a transfusion of his Grim Reaper blood so they heal.

Gary Cooper 01-29-2023 10:36 PM

It's a 7 month offseason. All hands better be on deck.

TLO 01-29-2023 10:49 PM

Did we get anything from pressers?

Glad our O-line made it out healthy!

notorious 01-29-2023 11:09 PM

It might be easier to list who's healthy.

staylor26 01-29-2023 11:09 PM

I saw a video of JuJu on the field after the game and he looked fired up.

carcosa 01-29-2023 11:10 PM

Really hope Sneed is okay!

Redbled 01-29-2023 11:12 PM

Sadly I could see all 3 receivers being done. Gays shoulder is likely bad if he didn’t return. We get Watson and Sneed back and 2 weeks to get Kemp ready lol. Very concerned. But we have Pat. We are not losing.

notorious 01-29-2023 11:12 PM

Cincy should kill themselves. We were missing half the team for a large part of the game.

Gary Cooper 01-29-2023 11:44 PM

We were fortunate most of the season with injuries. Crappy timing for sure but naturally guys are more hurt the deeper you play. It's a battle of attrition.

ChiTown 01-29-2023 11:48 PM

If I learned anything from this past week regarding Pat’s ankle injury, it is that the posters on CP should keep their daytime jobs and stop speculating on Player injuries and their viability of being able to return. I mean, seriously…..

If Toney can play, maybe we’ve seen the last of Hardman as a Chief.

Eagles know one solid hit/twist he can be neutralized.

The WR room is going to look purposefully different next year.

Pretty easy to get right from a concussion in two weeks.

Two week break is goin to be huuuuge for us.

Why Not? 01-30-2023 12:28 AM

I thought I posted this here but maybe I didn't hit reply or I posted it elsewhere so here goes

The Eagles are the best matchup for our injures. Their secondary is great. You don't really attack them outside. Their middle is vulnerable. Tons of Kelce, Gray and McKinnon over the middle. The Niners you attack deep. Obviously would like to not have our 4 wideouts be MVS, Watson, Kemp and Moore but at least this scenario kind of works out.

Injuries definitely mattered down the stretch. They couldn't move the ball on the last two or three drives.

I thought he hurt his head or neck on that last run at the end of the game. He bent down and tried to punish the tackler and he didnt jump back up like he normally does.

Chiefnj2 01-30-2023 08:22 AM

Is Karlaftis okay? It seemed like Dunlap played the entire second half (and did very well).

I noticed that too, no Greek Freak for most of the 2nd half, don't recall hearing an injury report during the game,

493rd 01-30-2023 08:37 AM

Christ, so we lost what, 9 starters during the Bengals game? That’s so far beyond anything one might consider possible. Last few drives we couldn’t move the ball at all.

Hoover 01-30-2023 08:40 AM

Didn't realize JuJu was hurt.

He's not a guy you can pay big money. If he wants 10M or so, then maybe but I wouldn't any more than that.

RunKC 01-30-2023 08:51 AM

Sneed will be back
Willie will be back
Hardman already said he’d be back
Watson will be back (was out sick)

Not overly worried here. Juju is the main one

Hopefully Toney, too.

blake5676 01-30-2023 08:55 AM

Did they show Toney on the sideline at all or did anyone catch him on the field during the celebrations? I don't recall seeing him but wondering if he was showed if anyone caught a glimpse of him walking. Sounds like Juju was in bad shape.

I really think we schemed a ton for Toney in this game and that went out the window pretty early. Would love to have him back for the SB but he's also shown nothing but a proclivity to getting banged up thus far as well. Dude is just too fast twitch and jukey for his own body.

dallaschiefsfan 01-30-2023 09:04 AM

While Moore has played the "Hardman" role much of the time, he's actually more of a fit for JuJu's role given his contested catch ability. I'm not nervous with Moore playing that role in the SB if JuJu is not a go. Moore just needs to get better at his routes. Toney and Hardman will play similar roles, so we just need one of them able to go. MVS does what MVS does. We will see how it plays out, but I'm not too worried. Also...given the Eagles strengths, I really hope they choose to keep all 4 TE's active to keep the soft middle flooded with big bodies.

I think we have a TON of plays we schemed up that were never used yesterday. I like how that sets us up for the SB.

FringeNC 01-30-2023 09:09 AM

Did Fortson have many snaps yesterday? He didn't even have a target. I think we need Blake Bell active for the SB, even if we're a bit depleted at receiver. He's a better blocker.

This happened on the kickoff right after the Bengals tied it at 20. It looked like he took a shoulder to the thigh. Probably just a contusion. He played the rest of the game, so he should be fine.

I didn't see him later, but I did see him walk off the field after his injury. He seemed to walk OK, but slow. They said it was an ankle. I think two weeks should generally be OK for an ankle. It wasn't a muscular injury as far as I know.

Sorry, I missed watching some of the game having to pick up my Son, still listened to the Radio broadcast.

Did Toney come back into the game after that non-contact injury in the 1st half?

Did nobody else see him after that play at the end of the game (the play right before pat's scramble) where he caught the ball in the flat and tried to plow the defender? He clearly hurt himself there - either his head or neck. He didn't hop back up like he normally does and he laid there for a while before walking off the field. It looked like he walked kind of wobbly-ish too (to me, at least). I guess nobody noticed because of the critical time of the game

I saw that, my comment at the time was he looks hurt, he's not jumping up as angrily like he normally does.

Sassy Squatch 01-30-2023 10:02 AM

Oh, missed that Toney was able to walk off the field. Yeah, he's going to play in 2 weeks. Juju is the only one I'd probably pencil in as a solid no now.

Yeah, you can kind of see it here at 2:19. He gets up slowly and walks off. When he fell like that I thought knee, but I think he got lucky.

I saw it. I also saw him on the sidelines immediately trying to go back in. The question I quoted was about a limp, which he had right after that kickoff and throughout the fourth quarter. I think he’s a tough bastard, so hopefully his head and neck are okay.
