Any recommendations for tent stoves?

Anyone have any experience and have a stove they would recommend?

Would like to keep it under $350 if possible.

So many choices that all seem fairly similar so looking for real life reviews.

Wall tent or backpack tent?

Personally don't know much about tent stoves, but I've used them before. Here's a link with some info and some stoves to look at:

We have an Ellis folding stove we use. It might be more than 350 though.

When I lived in rural Alaska, friend of mine would set up a wall tent in early winter and use it for hunting/snowmachine base. He had a Yukon stove if memory serves. Not cheap but kept the tent warm when it was below zero outside. Info here:

To cook inside a tent? That sounds totally safe.

I have been looking at that one. I think if I go fold-up i will go with a titanium so it could be used for backpacking.

KNI-CO ALASKAN FOR ESKER CLASSIC 2 TENT STOVE , it just slightly higher 350, but not much.
It is worth checking out with the morningsave customer service here if they might have some offers for such an items. My wife likes them and was able to find great deals in there.
