Did anyone else notice several low snaps?

Did anyone else notice several low snaps? Humphrey is awesome and had a lot on his plate. But mahomes had to reach on a few.

Jewish Rabbi 02-15-2023 05:17 PM

Yeah Creed had a shitty game snapping the ball.

Wonder if the field was effecting the snap?

Dunerdr 02-15-2023 05:24 PM

I noticed several and thought Jason kelce had a few low ones too. I chalked it up to the field.

Noticed it. Didn’t think too much about it with all the post win hoopla.
The field conditions makes the most sense. Thank you CP.

Yeah, Cs can have a couple bad snaps in any game, but I did notice after the second one. And another that was off to one side by more than usual.

But then I saw Jason do the same thing, and figured immediately it had to be the field.

tyecopeland 02-15-2023 05:41 PM

Espn initially had mahomes with 3 fumble recoveries on aborted snaps. They've reduced it to one now.

KC_Connection 02-15-2023 05:44 PM

Happened quite a bit in the 2nd half, yeah. Maybe it was the field, maybe it was nerves. Either way, doesn't matter now.

displacedinMN 02-15-2023 05:45 PM

more in the second half.. worried me at the time

Titty Meat 02-15-2023 05:46 PM

I noticed we won another championship

Dante84 02-15-2023 05:48 PM

Yep, Patrick had to wrangle a few that were low and off to the side during the game that had me worried.

And then we won the Super Bowl!

Yes I thought the same thing...it was amazing none of them (that I remember) became a problem.

Easy 6 02-15-2023 06:05 PM

Didn't notice it in the moment, but Creed has struggled with it here and there from the beginning... wbf

Rasputin 02-15-2023 06:11 PM

0 sacks allowed.

Graystoke 02-15-2023 06:26 PM

Glad you mentioned this because honestly forgot about it after victory.
I remember yelling at tv for Creed to fix that.
Luckily we got Mahomes to right the ship.

Has this been a thing during the season? This feels like the only time I noticed it as a consistent issue.

It's happened. Last season as well. It was just never often. Only noticed in the SB because it happened several times, and it happened to Jason Kelce a couple times as well.

DRM08 02-15-2023 06:53 PM

I noticed them, but I'll say a low snap beats the heck out of a really high snap. Those are brutal. Glad KC was able to avoid the turnover bug that gave them a lot of trouble this season.

BWillie 02-15-2023 07:28 PM

Fire creed
Bring in fat kelce

stevieray 02-15-2023 09:45 PM

meh, not every throw is perfect either.

Stewie 02-15-2023 09:51 PM

Better 4 feet low than 4 feet high.

FlaChief58 02-15-2023 09:56 PM

It was the turf and since it didn't happen to the eagles, the game was fixed! Harumph

Chiefshrink 02-15-2023 09:56 PM

It could have been the field condition BUT I think it was more making sure Creed got to his blocks on time during certain protections against this talented Philly D line inadvertently rushing his snaps.

I noticed that too. But I remember hearing in an interview somewhere with Mahomes or someone else after the game that it was intentional.

To get the ball into his hands quicker, help beat the pass rush. They practiced it.

I could swear I heard that somewhere.
