I know it’s only been a week since we hoisted the Lombardi, but I haven’t stopped thinking about how ****ing kick ass a KC hosted draft is going to be!

KCSN will be hosting at KC Live. Thursday live from Pizza bar, Friday and Saturday live from no other pub by sporting kc, sunday live from holaday distillery. (specific tickets have not been mentioned)

I believe so. This seems like it will end up basically being another KC Chiefs parade except that it goes on for 3 days. Everybody toting their backpacks full of beer and weed.

If they win another next year. They need to bring back players from all the Chiefs Super Bowls for a separate parade

As far as I know. Personally I’d like to hit night one live in person then night two at the power and light district. Or a similar watch along. The parade was great and got me hyped for the draft more than anything but I couldn’t do it two nights in a row on the hill.

I live in OP, but decided to get a hotel room downtown so we could indulge for the first night. It was going to be fun regardless, but now as Super Bowl champs it should be even more so.

I was looking at harrahs hotel/casino. Not sure where we will end up. That’s 5osh miles away. I’d like to be really close so I can stumble in drunk and not walk two miles of up hill lol.

Got a room at Ameristar 2 weeks ago. $300/ night. It’s fine. World Champs!!!

Hotels nearby are scarce

If it's on a weekend, that's actually not bad for Ameristar.

Yeah, we ended up getting a room at Hotel Phillips, which is downtown, right next to the Power and Light district. It's about a mile from Union Station, so it's walkable, but I may wait to really turn on the booze until after the draft ends and we head back to Power and Light since that's only a couple blocks from our hotel.

I was watching hotels as soon as it was announced. This was the closest we could get. Paying $374 for a night, but that's a lot better than the $500-$600 I'm seeing for less close locations.

A guy i work with was up there for the SB and stayed there. He had really good reviews on Hotel Phillips. I'm waiting on a few friends to get their shit together like DaFace, so we can decide where we want to stay. I'm giving them another week then just going to book for my self.

That's good to hear, I was a little concerned. In looking at all of the other hotels in the immediate area, it seems to be cheaper when I look at random days and has worse scores. Not terrible scores or anything, but definitely lower than the Marriott, Hilton, etc. The pictures look nice enough though and I really only need a clean bed to pass out in.

I signed up for some email updates when tickets go on sale on some official website, I think. I know my son would really like to go and I'd like to take him.

The draft itself is free, but there will be various ticketed events on the side as well. Think private viewing parties or celebrity meet and greets.

How many fans of other teams typically fly in for this shit? I don't quite know how big this event is in person

Damar Hamlin is going to show up at the draft and get paraded around like a cheap ****ing whore. And we're all going to be expected to cheer and weep like a bunch of North Koreans reacting to seeing Kim Jong Whatever

we have one thing we are working on that will blow the socks off the whole KC area. Best idea I’ve ever heard and we are going to make it happen.

Draft events are slow developing, Business are looking to cash in and charging too much. We are not about money. We are not going to charge fans $20-$30 just to come in a bar, then pay for their drinks too.

We are still looking for a good place on two nights. We announce stuff, it will happen and people know it will organized and everyone will have fun.

Who is we? Just curious I don’t keep up with most members of CP lol. I’ll be in town though and be looking for stuff to do!

I've been looking for the KCSN event info. Has anyone seen an announcement?

The Kelce brothers announced on this week's New Heights podcast that they are doing a live show from the Kansas City Music Hall the night before the draft starts, April 26th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning at 10am Central. I think I might try and grab a couple tickets depending on the price.

Ticket master only has singles at $625. **** that!

Those are the Platinum presale tickets. Platinum is Ticketmaster's legal scalping. They take a selection of seats and jack up the prices. Regular priced tickets go on sale tomorrow.

Some of you can rent out your house for like $2500 for the weekend of the draft.

I keep waiting on a possible STH event and I haven't heard shit from the Chiefs.

It seems like theres a complete lack of draft event info.

I finally got a STH invite for Saturday.

I mean...I don't really care about day 3 but you gotta figure they'll have coaches and/or new draft picks there for interviews. It might be kinda cool.

I think I'll skip the draft stuff on Thursday/Friday and just have a draft party at home. Then head into KC on Saturday for the STH event.

That will probably be pretty cool. I planned on hitting the kcsn deal for one night but they still havent announced shit yet. My wife wants to go to the ****ing Lainey Wilson free show at P&L wednesday so im commited to the trip at this point.

The problem we are having is all the greed of mostly Chief fans ripping off Chief fans so they can make a profit. Nothing inheritably wrong with that, it just not our thing.

We were going to do some events. Another out of towner comes in and offers 2-3 times what we would pay? Of course, the business takes that deal. Now, hundreds to thousands 0f Chief fans are paying $50 for a cheap drink and maybe get to see some 80's-90's Chief's player.

As an org, we cant lose our focus on enjoying this golden era of Chiefs football with our fellow Chief fans, not taking their money.
