Pats shopping Mac Jones?
https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/pat...vailable-trade
It's unclear which teams Belichick has contacted about trading Jones, but Florio listed the Las Vegas Raiders, Houston Texans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Commanders as "potential destinations," noting Josh McDaniels' Raiders as a team to "keep watching." |

Of course McDaniels would want Jones. The Patriot connection is the ONLY reason he wanted Jimmy G. |
It's the "Who wants zero chance at a Super Bowl for several years" sweepstakes.
|
Shop that piece of shit at the local Family Dollar.
|
Who the **** would want Mac Jones? There are several decent qb's in the draft and the guys barely a better passer than Lamar Jackson. BB is willing to move on for a reason.
|
I wish Deberg was here for this

Nobody will agree but I like Jones fine. He’s a lot like Andy Dalton to me. Is that gonna win many playoff games? No, but Dalton has a 83-77 record which is pretty good compared to the field.
If you squint hard enough and dream, Jones has some Brady in him. People forget but Brady wasn’t “Brady” until his monster 2007 season. Here were his first 6 years QB rating: 86.5 85.7 85.9 92.6 92.3 87.9 Avg = 88.5. (Mac through two seasons = 89.0) |
Isn't there a rumor that BB is pissed at Mac Jones for going outside the organization to get help to be a better QB or something?
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/p...on-per-report/ Jones got a crappy defensive coordinator as the OC and the Great Bill Belicheat is angry that his QB is looking for some actual help? Dude is so out of tune with reality. |
He’d probably get a high level XFL contract so ship him there!

Jones loves to cheap shot so the Faiders would be a perfect fit.
|
Jones has the potential to be better than a lot of QBs in the NFL. His rookie year was really solid. You'd think someone would be a buyer. You'd think the Commanders would be interested if the rumors were true though. I'd have to think the Titans, Falcons, and Vikings too.
|
These morans still haven't learned that "The Patriot Way" is to get extremely lucky and find a generational talent at Qb in the 6th round and have him be propped up even higher by massive refball his entire career?

Macorkle is an enormous pussy. Remember when he hurt his ankle and had to be carried off the field crying like he’d just put his dog down?
Such a shit tier loser. I never want him to leave New England. They deserve him |
I mean..
Raiders get: #14 Mac Jones Pats get: #7 That gives Mac Jones a 2nd round value. |
Supposedly the INT are a problem, avg 12 per
Brady avg 13 per his first six seasons |

Thought I read the Raiders signed Hoyer today

Belichick has gone senile, he's old as hell and is hiring his kids as coaches.

So they have Garrapolo and Hoyer...and they want Jones too? :hmmm: Why are they trying to corner the market on mediocre to bad QBs? |
"Do your job"

BB is lost without Tom Brady

Bill is pissed off that Jones went outside the organization to get help being a better QB... Pretty stupid thing to be pissed off about. If my QB was trying to get better, I'd definitely be all about it. It comes down to being a control freak of epic proportions. |

Really? What's the story? I missed it. |

Belicheat is such a ****knuckle. I'm so glad we're over the whole Cheatriot Castoff game. |
Belichick really views anyone not in the Patriot tree as outsiders...what the ****?

If you ever saw this pic of your qb, you'd want to trade his ass away ASAP as well

You'd think a guy who is constantly getting his coaching staff picked over by dumbass reerun teams would work harder to put trust in his position coaches. But instead, all he can do is commit to re-hiring the guys who were epic failures in other situations. And in the case of last year, he hated his offensive position coaches so goddamn much he put a DC and a ST coordinator in "joint" charge of the offense. Andy Reid went through this kind of weird ass trip in Philly when he promoted his OL coach to DC that one year. He scrapped that plan and only lasted one more season in that town. This is the end of Belichick. He's done after this season. |

Trade him for Hopkins. Murray and Jones duel to the pout!

are the Pats going to go with that backup QB Pats fans were giving a standing O for?
|

But Belicheat managed to find a disgraced Cheatriot ****bag that is actually competent in a limited capacity. |
I don't think this rumor is true. He'd have been picked up by now if it were.

Fortunately I think they've mostly been brow-beaten into submission at this point. There's obviously Asterisk but he wasn't the only one. That one dipshit SteveGroganFan guy was always good for some mindless truism cast as insightful patriot way condescension. Man I'm glad those guys are irrelevant again. |

Serious question: how did Mac jones post the numbers he did in college, and then continue to post near-top-10 QBR/Passer Rating stats with no weapons in 2021? Did he just get lucky, or does he actually have some talent?
|
Quote:
He cannot create. So if you hire a DC to call high school plays, he’s going to look bad. I don’t know how much there wasn’t any film on him or his capacity to read defenses or understand protections or running game concepts. But he’s not Palko out there. My opinion is he can develop into a Tannehill Cousins type. A guy you can win with but not because of. |

So the Raiders hired Amendola to be their WR coach, they are really embracing Patriot way.

And I'd have to sign off each post with something like "Taste the Nectar"... I mean lets face it, I'd essentially have to develop a Drunk Holthus character and just play it for all it's worth. "You're gonna have to DEAL with the Chiefs....CENTAUR OUT - TASTE THE NECTAR, PLEBES!" |

And it's funny because he's just so damn corny. He's just bad at it. Dude - you're too earnest to talk shit. It's like Matt Cassel out there throwing down smack. |

Find the Chiefs fan who is completely desperate to be well-liked by other fan bases, and that's probably your comp. |
mentioned in the free agency thread, but...

Jacksonville is hella random

God he was such a piece of shit. I wanted him to be there forever. I'm just hopeful whoever they draft this year ends up being just as big of a piece of shit.

Damn, I was hoping the donks would snag him!
