And there it is, they did use the Elijah Moore pick.
|
Get ****ed Buffalo.
|
Good deal.
I'd hate to have to give them a 1st next year, but oh well. |
So after all of that...the Jets get nothing if he decides to retire after this season.
|
Nice.

Hard to tell which team got ****ed harder.

Good, seeing the Jets and the Packers fail after this trade will make me happy again.

Great! The Jets, Dolphins and Bills can all beat the shit out of each other and we can take care of the leftovers.

Good. Jets and Miami will give Buffalo all they can handle. **** Buffalo.

Should propel them to a 3rd place finish in their division.

They aren't going to give him number 12 are they?

Rodgers is about to ball out in a big way. He thrives on vengeance and his number one goal will be to make the Packers look stupid for trading him. Would love to see an A-Rod vs Mahomes AFC title game.
|
Chiefs at Jets will not be a Sunday 1:00 p.m. Eastern kickoff game.
|
All that to get face ****ed in the playoffs by Mahomes... if they even make it that far that is.

Jets blinked badly. Lol

They were right with those teams most of last year with maybe the worst QB play in the league. |
Pats officially will be last ion the division.
|
I wonder what hurts worse for the Donks, seeing the Jets pull off the Hackett/Rodgers scenario they couldn't, knowing they gave up way more for Russ than the Jets did here, or just knowing that Rodgers thought the Jets were a less embarrassing franchise to play for.

If you're 2-6...do you sit Rodgers to avoid giving up a 1st? |

Told ya so.
NYJ probably wins the AFC-E this season. Man, it's kind of crazy just how fast things can happen in the NFL. NYJ is going to be in the playoffs in 2023. |
Jordan Love must be 30 already. All things to those who wait.
|
GB got a great deal and don't have to worry about that drama bitch any more

Like hey Quay Walker and Devonte Wyatt were 1st round picks of the Pack last year and they suck shit. |
Jets bent Green Bay over, and ****ed them hard...Packer fans must be going WTF.
|
That’s a ruff division

He's not in the NFC North anymore. Two games against Buffalo and two against Miami. Plus primarily AFC opponents, and assuming he even gets to the playoffs, the likes of Mahomes, Burrow, Herbert, Lawrence and Allen to contend with. And let's not forget that he's a shitty teammate and leader. And a ****ing loon on top of it all. Another colossal mistake by the Jets. |

Meanwhile we’ll be playing against Russet and Jimmy G LMAO |

I think they're still a weapon or two off, Garrett Wilson is a good young WR, Mecole hasn't shown to be much more than a gadget, Allen Lazard is a good #3, but I would put him in the same category as MVS. Their OLine is notably in the bottom half and they have a defensive minded head coach who's going to put his faith into Nathaniel Hackett. This has all the makings of an attempted Rams or Bucs team. If Rodgers can not turn the ball over and the defense with Sauce can keep shutting down offenses, they may be able to bring it all together and win now, but I think this move puts them in the playoffs, but doesn't guarantee more than a divisional round appearance. What I like for them is that they not only got Rodgers, but they swapped their first round pick and can still get a top tier WR for Rodgers or more OL help in the draft, that was a good move for the Jets. |
I get it he's old, he's also been playing with terrible weapons for a long time and the guy is a HOF player so this idea that he blows is weird to me.

As far as the Jets go, it's a brand new season and alot can happen to that defense. Wouldn't be surprised to see a regress. |
Last year in what was considered a bad year for Aaron Rodgers..
3,695 26/12 with spending most of the year with a broken thumb. If he has that exact same year, that's a playoff team. |

Glad they did the trade that mushroom eating mario wannabe can die in a fire.

lol, poor bills fans. ROFL
Now they have to deal with resurgent Miami AND NYJ teams, as well as deal with Bellicheat and the cheatriots. |
With that Rodgers move who is now the longest tenured QB in the NFL?
Don't look it up either, it's kinda mind blowing. |

Doesn't look like a bad deal for the Jets. Only stepped back 2 spots in R1 and if it goes the way they hope, it's a late R1 in 2024. Lose a R2 - no big deal really.
|
Kirk Cousins?

Gotta be Pat by now
Oh, forgot about Dak... |

Pat was drafted in 17 Dak been with Dallas since 16 |
So, they're this year's "Dolphins are going to win the AFCE", huh.
Bills fans must know how we feel about the Chargers. |
So, no mention of Green Bay eating part of Rodgers salary. I thought that would be part of the deal. Probably why the compensation wasn't as high as expected.

Bills have only 3 division titles and struggled with the Jets and Dolphins last season. They aren't on our level. |

The Jet's fans are beating off with a confused mix of anger and hope. It's a messy operation that ends as well as their seasons over the last 54 years. Tissues and Tears of failure.

GOOD. Now we don't have to get daily updates. Maybe. :shake:

A 2nd rounder and a future first that's likely towards the back of the round is not really all that much for a qb just removed from MVP seasons. Jets were essentially committed and had no other options, better for them to get it done now than in three months.

That 13 & 15 swap might not seem like much, but could be the difference in a 1st round grade and 2nd in this draft.
|
That’s a pretty fair deal when you look at it through a desperation lens to try to have any chance at beating Mahomes in the playoffs.

The AFCE getting stronger is nothing but good news.
Especially when Rodgers is good enough to give Buffalo a hard time but not so good that he makes me think NYJ are legit contenders. |

The amount of anger I would have if the Chiefs handled Mahomes like the Packer handled Rodgers.........

Packers did well with this trade. Played hardball until the very end and made a difficult GM like Joe Douglas give leeway. Rodgers doesn't have a whole left to give and he might even retire after the season. Desperation move by the Jets to go all in for a run. Seems logical on paper but let's see how it works out on the field.
Remember, Fraudgers had an equally stacked team playing in a lesser conference and chocked like a outstanding citizen at home to the whiners. |
Now GB can use those picks to move up to #2 or 3 for a QB. How fun would that be? Jordan Love never starts a game hahaha.
