I agree it sucks spoiling picks but it's getting harder and harder when the draft is on 3 separate networks who are not all in sync especially in the later rounds.

Chris Simms just said he could see scenarios where Van Ness falls all the way to the end of the first like Karlaftis did last year. Teams looking at him as strictly an edge guy have questions about his ability strictly as an edge guy. Talked about scheme fits in sone teams doesn’t mKe sense.

That being said, we're going to jump in front of Buffalo and take whoever they were going to pick, again. The trade with the Bills for Mahomes, jumping the Bills to take McDuffie, and this year jumping them to take _________. That would be glorious. I want to see their war room sad again.

They said if they draft a LT that Taylor has proven that he can play RT at a high level. They didn’t say shit about drafting a LT and automatically moving Taylor to RT.

Veach said in his presser that if they draft a LT they already know Taylor’s tape at RT. He’s paid the same amount aav as between the first and second highest paid RT. They wouldn’t be “moving Taylor to RT” they would be keeping him at the position he played in college and the pros.

Taylor likely can play LT and even play it at a high level possibly…but if they draft a LT, is no guarantee that Taylor plays LT.

I’d like it better trading up from 63 to get him, but I wouldn’t be mad if we took him at 31 and did that…but I bet Veach can slide down a few picks to a team wanting a QB at 31 and get another late third/early fourth in the trade back and still get an impact player in the early 2nd.

This draft is pretty strong from 20-45/50

Chiefs owned the draft last year and, literally, own it this year. Let's go!

Here's my one and only prediction. Not meant to be bold, just is what it is.

Chiefs will draft a couple guys early we aren't - for the most part - expecting. There'll be mixed reactions. But within a week, there'll be lots of posts talking about how we should've expected it all along, how it makes so much sense, fits Veach's MO, etc.

I'm not saying they'd be homer takes either. I just think during draft season we tend to forget about what we know of the team and fall in line with the groupthink stuff. There are probably a good handful of guys routinely mocked to KC that Veach wouldn't even consider drafting.

Should be a great draft to watch. I feel like the roster is in a good place, its not stacked enough that they can take "luxury picks" but I don't feel like they have any dire needs. They could really go in almost any direction with the first few picks.

I ran the espn draft simulator this morning, and when it came time for Chiefs first pick, Zay Flowers and Myles Murphy were both available. That would be interesting to see whom the Chiefs would pick?

Quentin Johnston odds went crazy. Chargers to +170. We are second at +750. 170 are the lowest odds out of anyone going past the top 10. I try to not look too much into the Vegas odds, but that is crazy to me

And I cannot wait until the home opener. The first SB they won (in my lifetime), I didn't get to see a trophy presentation or banner or whatever they do because of it being the first year of COVID. This year's season opener should be incredible. :)
