Sports wise amazing, real life been struggling with being bored with what im doing especially my career. Been a struggle to get up and get to work. Mental health has taken a hit from it. I distract myself when im not working by hanging out with my kids and that always recharges me. Hope everyone is doing well too.

I got diagnosed with MS which leaves me unable to walk some days. I got laid off. So yeah everything is great...

I'm getting old. Every day the problem gets worse. But, I live on the water. Have a family of manatees in my backyard. Still happily married. Son is pursuing his dreams in NYC. Got to see 3 SB championships, so far.

I was Diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Its the "good" cancer. It wont kill you anymore thanks to advances in medicine. Just like having a bad cold/flu.

Dang, sorry to hear about that CLL. Good to know that modern medicine should be able to keep it from killing. Godspeed, BRC!

Well, shit! Just got in from mowing and edging my yard. It's hotter than the devils ass on taco Tuesday. All I wanted was some ice water and A/C before I jumped in the shower. I noticed it was hot in the house, and the condenser wasn't on. Turns out the condensate drain was plugged. After flushing out all the snot, I'm happy to report that the A/C is working again and the house is cool again.

I'm doing a LOT better. It was really rough there for a couple of years. Covid really killed everything I've ever done to earn.

No live events for audio engineering, no live events for performing, not even a bartending gig.

I was down to working part time on a paint crew for awhile. It was pretty rough. If I hadn't paid off my house the year before the plague hit I would've been ****ed.

I've been getting a lot of steady audio work (mostly boring but lucrative corporate), gigs as a player are picking up. I keep a bar shift or two just in case as I don't trust the bottom not to fall out again, but yeah, doing better on the work front.

Most of you know my wife died very young about ten years ago of cancer. The lawyer that handled the estate really botched it, and I've finally got a good lawyer to fix it. That's expensive, but it'll be good to finally put it all to rest. It's been quite an ordeal.

And I'm getting remarried in October. My fiance is a widow as well, and has two teenagers. I missed out on having kids, unfortunately, so step-dad is a nice role and a big change.
