Booyah! Getting the game. Wish we didn't have Ian Eagle and Charles Davis calling it, but can't be too picky. Thank you for sharing.
|
Only week 2 and already have to stream a Chiefs game :(
|
FUUUUUUUUCK
Stupid Chargers ****in' it up for the rest of us.... |

Not happy. |
Thanks, eDave!

Pretty random that Philly gets the Chiefs and not Ravens... NFL begging people to illegally stream. |

Not only do I hate going somewhere to watch Chiefs games I'm not sure anyone is open at 10am showing games near me...NFL begging people to illegally stream |
I really hate that the Chargers drafted Herbert. Nobody in this area of Oregon wants to watch either one. ****ing localize that shit to Eugene.

Strange that southern Oregon and extreme NorCal get Chargers/Titans but the rest of the west coast (except SoCal, obviously) gets Raiders/Bills.
EDIT: Ahh, didn't see The Franchise's post. Makes sense since Herbert went to Oregon. |

Thankfully the Texans are on FOX this week, opening a CBS spot in Houston for the Chiefs!

Yay, no stream!
|
They really need more flexibility in the schedule. With Rodgers gone, that Jets & Dallas game looks pretty lousy for a 3:30 kickoff with Jim Nantz. Seems like Cincy & Baltimore should be in that spot.
|
I bought NFL Sunday Ticket thinking this would be the Chiefs game not televised in my area… and it is.
Unless there are flex changes, the Chiefs are the featured double header late afternoon game or on prime time the rest of the season. |

So far, my gamble is paying off, glad to see this OTA in the Dallas market. :thumb:

Apparently they bought Helton the other day. |
The late afternoon window has a chance to be awful.
Dallas-Jets... could be an ugly defensive game, potential blow out. Redskins-Denver... completely unwatchable. Giants-Arizona... completely unwatchable. 49ers at Rams... probably the most competitive, watchable game, although the 49ers have owned the Rams and now they are much better than them so this could be a blow out. |
CBS comes through yet again, nice
Reid isn't going to oversee another slopfest like that, we'll be dialed in and looking slick |
3pm games suck ass

Ironically enough their owner developed an alcohol problem, got sober and still tried to run the brewery so its not totally shocking it had gone downhill and finally sold. |
I'm sure that Jets/Dallas pick seemed a lot better just a few days ago.
The Dallas rape and pillaging of NY/NJ continues! |
Oh ****ing great! WHOLE region gets the Chiefs game EXCEPT Baton Rouge, LA! Thank God I got a work around! ;)
|
I'm not sure why sunday ticket says it's blocked in my area, but at least it's ota.

I've never had sunday ticket before so I don't know all the rules |

No problem enjoy the game. I'm going to have to stream here or get sunday ticket. I have a kid in college so it's not too bad. I just know most games will be Ota this year so I haven't pulled the trigger

A friend of mine uses the Mars box for all of his TV, but I still use DirecTV and just use the Mars box for out of market Chiefs games, PPV events (like UFC), and movies. There is no DVR but they have "Replay" where you can watch the last several seasons of most of the popular shows. https://themarsbox.com/ There are other ways of doing something similar through the Firestick, or on your laptop, but not sure how those work. There are posters here that think this box is a waste of money, but it has served its purpose for me so far. To each his own. |
where to stream?
|
Quote:
If the local channel carries it, ST can't. If the local channel switches away from the game because the game gets lopsided... Or the game goes to OT and the late game is starting and they are required to carry the late game because the late game is the nearby home team... ST will not suddenly start showing the game. Or at least they never have in the past. I have missed KC overtime when CBS switched to the Faid. At least with them in Vegas, I don't think that is a problem for me now. It would only be if KC and SF were on the same station for whatever reason. |

Donkeys v Wash. Ugh.

2 weeks I would not have to use ST. Saving money....

CBS late is a real stinker.

Where can us poor folk find a stream for today's game that isn't shit?

Some people were using buffstreams, too. nfl5.ir was a thing last year, but wasn't working at all for me last weekend. |
Johnny posted this one earlier

Jets at Dallas in Omaha?? **** that shit...would rather have the Denver game!
|
I know some folks think the Mars box isn't worth it, but this was my first day using it for NFL football and it was like getting NFL Sunday ticket. Was watching the Chiefs on KCTV 5, and then switching to CBS in Boston for Bills/Raiders and CBS in Cleveland for Bengals/Ravens. Very few times did it buffer and the quality was great. Pretty good solution for out of market Chiefs fans to watch the games that aren't on the local affiliate.
