Kadoos to Zach Wilson and the Jets (but not Robert Saleh)
He had a career game tonight. Some of the throws he made were absolutely spot on. Once he had some confidence, the natural talent showed. He looks mentally broken - but that's not our problem.
The Jets defense has some serious talent as well. Went down 17 early but really played well after that. Robert Saleh is a bitch. |
Robert Saleh deserves kidney stones tbh
|
How does Saleh get his bald head so shiny? He use that shit for bowling balls?

He looks like a guy who's wife leads him around the basement with a dog collar
|
The defensive holding call was pretty ticky tack but he didn't let the receiver out of his break. They're gonna call that if they see it. Furthermore it was a makeup call for the weak holding call on Trey Smith the play before that cost us first and goal.

oh And the face mask that didn't start in the end zone Saleh has no room to cry |

Best Wilson has ever looked, I’m sure. He wasn’t bad tonight. They have a much more talented team than their record would tell you.
|
If he's banging this chick, I don't feel sorry for him.

Dude is either unbelievably good at back shoulders or lucky af. I think we were missing Bolton. I don’t know how to quantify it and can’t point to one specific play that I would say Bolton doesn’t let that happen, but I think he’s missed.

Saleh is a proven loser. Hackett will safe Zack & take his job

Honestly, I like Wilson and Saleh it was a good game by them after being pretty bad for a while.
Glad to leave with a good win though. |

It wasn't that our defense played poorly but moreso Hackett scheming a very efficient offense that both Wilsons, the QB and the receiver, executed to perfection. With a few breaks inbetween.
|
My first good look at Zach Wilson. If tonight is an indicator and he contiues to improve he is no where near as bad as advertised.
Close game. |
He silenced Namath. Make sure not to miss out on your free rides to medical appointments. Get all the benefits you deserve!

Not sure if he has reached Butch Davis level yet, but he might.
That guy lost games in epic fashion in CLE. It was not just the Chiefs game. Cant remember the last time a head coach was flagged-but he certainly deserved it. Maybe more than once. |

The really unfortunate part is that if Wilson had showed this much grit and poise and determination LAST YEAR, instead of being a sullen, useless douche, the Jets wouldn't have traded away their future for Rodgers and his ruptured Achilles.
|
Not sure why it happens or perhaps I have a bent perspective... It seems that QBs have career nights against the Chiefs defense. Our players can be in perfect position and the receiver makes an amazing play.

Opposition rises to the occasion over and over. That's what makes the Chiefs' success every year so impressive. They are taking every team's best shot. |
DCs have become to dependent on prior QB film study. I guess I've not paid enough attention to defensive coaches on tablets rewatching plays for the adjustments on the sidelines
|
I could see how this would be “ticky-tack” if the ball wasn’t thrown that direction, but it was and it was on target if he had been allowed to make his cut.

Wilson is not a make it happen guy. He must have prefect stuff. Total timing. He's a back up at best.

Not only because it was ticky tack, but also the situation. You don’t call that (bail a team out) on 3rd and 20. It was very minor contact. It’s the type of penalty that’s so egregious that people question whether the refs are instructed to do this crap. If it happened to the Chiefs you would all be furious that penalty was called. That doesn’t even take into account the missed holding calls on that drive. My goodness the Jets line was being held blatantly and nothing called. It’s almost impressive how bad this was: https://x.com/badsportsrefs/status/1...630630438?s=46 That being said - I don’t see the big deal. The Chiefs would have won even if it was 4th and 50 after that play. Zero chance the Jets drive the field against Spags with under 2 minutes to go. Just wasn’t happening. . |
What's a Kadoo? Do you mean kudos? :p
