Good luck with that.
|
JFC this is getting ridiculous
|
Or - and hear me out - you could **** off.
|
Yeah, and Skyy God is asking people to forget about Belize.
|
Lol this kid is really into himself. I could easily see him flaming out and being a bust. Dipshit.

He is red flagging himself as a diva douche. Any owner that did that for a rookie QB would get destroyed by the other owners. They would make sure the team got screwed in every way.

Meh.
Dov Kleiman. |

How do you even assign a value to it? The ownership interest is of theoretically unlimited value. And of perpetual duration. You can't calculate that in the salary cap at all. It's just a functionally reeruned ask. |

Are the Katz brothers his agent? What an idiot.

Good thing Browns got Watson or they might be a candidate to oblige.

This kid is going to end up being this generations Ryan Leaf.

No owner would agree to that and wouldn’t it have to be approved by the other owners and the NFL? Which means. Nope.
|
Lol, this is "your brains on drugs."
Dipstick. |
Silver spoon in the mouth prick. I hope he drops in value.
|
I want this douche to fail no matter where he ends up now
|
"Gotz me some NIL now I wantz me some NfL"
|
Boy, is he going to go down hard. LMAO

I don’t understand how something like that would even be permissible.
Isn’t that just straight up circumventing the salary cap? Like why doesn’t he get married and demand that his wife be put on staff at 10mm/yr as an assistant QBs coach? |

USC living up to its nickname "University of Spoiled Children". Good grief. Hope this guy goes undrafted.

Lol hope the Donks get him now.
Arrogant prick head coach and spoiled brat QB. Match made in heaven. |

The more I think about it, you'd be handcuffing yourself as well, because it would be very problematic to go to another team during your career. Could they trade you? Could you leave in free agency? Could you play for a different team against your ownership interest? Could you go to another team and then participate in salary negotiations for players on your original team? I don't think Mr. Williams is thinking this through. |

Typically equity acquisitions are Cash in exchange for shares/equity percentage. CBA dictates for rookies there is a scale and game checks. So each game, they withhold his check and exchange it on the balance sheet for equity (surely these are all corporations so we'll go with shares). So each check, caleb gets some shares, but no cash. So after his rookie contract, he 41M of equity in whatever shit franchise is out there, let's say the Faid - they're giving shit away. Franchise is worth 6.2 Billion. Congrats, Caleb, you get .66% of the Faid. Oh, and 5 years of tax liability on 41M. Oh, and by the way, Faid are cash poor so there won't be any dividends. Enjoy, bitch. Quote:

Does this delusional tool (yeah, I just decided I can't stand him, assuming there is any truth to this) also play baseball?
Or, does he even really want to play in the NFL? Maybe he believes he can turn his NIL money into a lot more money, without having to go to a bad team, suffer lots of losing, and get beat up before washing out of the NFL because he couldn't live up to the Patrick Mahomes comparisons? |
bro who does this guy think he is LMAO

Maybe, he's getting it from soccer star Messi's deal. That is a whole other story though as that guy already has clout and is making that team in Miami more money then ever.

How about get drafted by Carolina, get paid the number one overall cap number or go make $400,000 in the CFL?

Perfect example of having too much money, too much power while being too young and immature. I cannot even fathom how much bigger of an assclown I would be if I had millions when I was 20.

Dov Kleiman is basically Skip Bayless on Twitter/X. He's all about clickbait to drive engagement and impressions. He couldn't care less whether anything he posts is actually true.
That being said if you don't want to get drafted by the Bears or the Cardinals or one of the shitty teams then making ridiculous demands like this isn't a bad strategy. |
This guy's middle name Lonzo?
|
So…is he literally saying that without this agreement in place, he’s not going to declare? This would need to be on top of the slotted rookie deal.
Wow. |
Same reps as CJ?
|
I thought player/ownership was against NFL rules?
|
If I'm an owner in need of a qb and were thinking of drafting him, I'm definitely having second thoughts after this.
Having confidence is one thing, being an arrogant dick before you've even been drafted is something else entirely. |
I’ve followed this Caleb for a while. This is likely his Dad making demands on his son. His dad Carl is the big issue with him. If Carl would stay out of it and let Caleb play there would be very little drama surrounding him.

This is his response when asked about a ND player running on to the field. |

Maybe he's building up to it. |
He has to talk to Patrick Mahomes II about that. He owns every team.
|
No athlete will ever gain enough money playing sports to get a majority owner status.
Mahomes/Jeter/Shaq---nope. JayZ? Nope. You have to be in business and be successful to do it. Maybe this NIL shit went to his head and he is very entitled. **** him. No one is going to do that. |
Let’s all remember and appreciate that Patrick mahomes was instructed by his agent to do minimal endorsements early in his career that might distract him. When he negotiated his contract he gave the chiefs room to build around him. It was only years later before he capitalized on endorsements and only recently where he’s building up his assets and getting a contract that pays his worth.
There’s so much more to mahomes than just his individual raw talent. I will always despise any comparison that doesn’t consider his character and leadership |
This has come up before. Forget the player. Maybe Mahomes speculation circa 2019?
I think I remember that its against the NFL rules to give a player a piece of ownership. And anything the team gives you, say a piece of one of their other businesses, it counts against the cap. |
