It's better for us is the bungles win, but if they don't, I'm totally fine with them all but out of the playoff picture.

OnTheWarpath15 11-16-2023 12:23 PM

They'll be 0-15 in about 10 hours if they don't figure out how to block.

Burrow is going to be running for his life.

smithandrew051 11-16-2023 12:23 PM

I’m good with whoever wins this one.

I’d love to see the Bengals out of it. I’d also love to see the Ravens drop another one.

Pepe Silvia 11-16-2023 12:26 PM

I like Cool Ranch Doritos.

T-post Tom 11-16-2023 12:27 PM

Go bungles?? Separation from Ravens for 1 seed is good??:hmmm:

Graystoke 11-16-2023 12:31 PM

I think a Bengals win is best for the Chiefs. However I certainly don't mind the Bengals losing because that always brings me great joy.

smithandrew051 11-16-2023 12:33 PM

Major benefit to the Ravens winning: we still play the Bengals in Week 17. If they’re out of the Division race by then, we might have a pretty easy win.

They might rest guys if they’re going to be a wildcard or if they’re out of the playoffs entirely.

Before the Bills, they hadn't won on Sunday Night since 2004.

jerryaldini 11-16-2023 12:37 PM

Rather face Ravens in playoffs. Plus always root against Burrow.

mr. tegu 11-16-2023 12:40 PM

Go Ravens in this one. They’ve got more losses coming their way regardless.

Bengals will be there in January

Respectfully disagree. I am no genius at statistical analysis, but I can’t foresee any probability that the Bengals rest players in week 17. Maybe if they’re mathematically eliminated from the playoffs and can improve their draft status by losing? But I doubt even that. Can’t see them laying down for the Chiefs at Arrowhead. Especially not with the recent rivalry history. Right now, it seems the Ravens are the bigger threat to the 1 seed & another year of “The Arrowhead Invitational.” IMHO

TwistedChief 11-16-2023 12:58 PM

Think a tie is in our best interests so I’m pulling in that direction.

Bengals are going to lose tonight.

scho63 11-16-2023 01:29 PM

Thursday already?

Megatron96 11-16-2023 01:30 PM

BAL was one play away from beating CIN in their second meeting last season, without Lamar.

BAL has the number 1 rushing attack, CIN D is 26th vs. the run. As long as BAL doesn't try to get too cute trying to throw the ball and stay with their run game, the Ravens should dominate field position, TOP, and scoring.

Unless BAL collapses again in the 2nd half, BAL should win this one going away.

YayMike 11-16-2023 01:30 PM

I want Bengals here. Let the North beat each other up

ChiefsCountry 11-16-2023 01:30 PM

I started Lamar Jackson over Joe Burrow in my fantasy league this week so that means Burrow will probably ball out tonight.

Wisconsin_Chief 11-16-2023 01:31 PM

All 106 players and the coaches for both sides can choke on my pole.

You too, rfaulk. ;)

HC_Chief 11-16-2023 01:39 PM

FINALLY, an interesting TNF game (at least on paper).

It'll probably be an early blowout. :/

Mr_Tomahawk 11-16-2023 01:39 PM

I know we are suppose to want Baltimore to win to give us more of a cushion for the #1....

Butt **** the Bengals!

There is a zero percent chance the Bengals rest anyone under the circumstances he posted.

Stanley being out for the Ravens will complicate things for them. I have no idea who or how good their backup LT is. And Humphrey is a loss in the secondary also.

On the other hand, Higgins is out for the Bengals. And they will be short a starting DE. Not Hendrickson, but Hubbard.

Tough call, but I would take Baltimore -4 all things considered. Of course that would mean Cinci rolls.

Edit: There's also this little tidbit.

The Ravens are 19-3 at home in regular-season night games since 2008. The Bengals have lost 13 straight on the road in that situation.

Edit Edit: It seems Patrick Mekari is the swing tackle, and he has actually started 6 games, in which Baltimore is 3-3, but 2-1 when playing LT.

I'm guessing the Bengals are rarely on prime time games over the past decade. They aren't getting 5 a year like the Cowboys seem to get.

Sassy Squatch 11-16-2023 03:51 PM

LMAO Bengals actually going to get punished for being dumb enough to show Burrow in some sort of brace yet not list him on the injury report

First time this year I placed some bets.

Took Ravens -3.5 for $100

Took Boost bet of Lamaar passing over 199.5 yds and having 1 rushing TD for 2.5x's the bet. Took it for $50.

Can lose $150 at worse
Can win $315 at best

I took the Ravens to win also, but I got in too late and the line was up to -4 by then.
Would've felt a lot better if I would've got -3 and bought it down to -2.5 but we'll see.
I expect either the Ravens blow them out, or the Bengals win a close one.

It’s entirely possible Burrow is doing some faux Michael Jackson look.

I know I said I was pulling for a tie before, but god, I hate the Bengals. If the Ravens were still a two-loss team I’d say we can maybe debate rooting for them, but right now I’m team Lamar.

Oh and **** you too Orlando

Azide22 11-16-2023 06:07 PM

This may be somewhat counter to our real needs, but I really prefer the Ravens win this one. Tie would be better. I'd love to see the Bengals and Bills sitting in 5 losses after 10 games this year.

I believe the Bengals will pull put the win though.

Of course it is. Bengals are our biggest issue. We still have the 1 seed lead if they win. You really want another year of playing them. They should be the team we fear the most.

She's my favorite female sportscaster by far. Suit jacket doesn't fit her right or something though. Looks like she borrowed it from a bigger person or something.

Their OL ahs to step up huge. Not only is OBJ having a rough time, but both of their Gs are basically turnstiles.

They have to run the piss out of the ball in the first half.

Someone has to step up for Higgins.

Their D has to stuff the run. Tall task for a bottom third rushing defense vs. the best running team in the league.

I vaguely remember a game where Thuney got knocked out for awhile and Orlando just looked terrible. Maybe not a groundbreaking take, but wonder if that's the biggest driver of how he looks this year in Cincinnati.
