I'm donating $250 to help a fellow CP poster in need for Xmas.

I ask fellow posters to decide on someone you know here or even a charity that is worthy that could use a little Xmas cheer.

I have someone in mind but if there is a shy poster who you can show privately how they could use a little help this Xmas, we'll make this happen.

I would be willing to send a MOD the money today and then they can release it to them after everyone decides.

I do. I'm so incredibly poor I'm going to struggle to buy baked beans for my Christmas dinner. The toast sandwich I had last year was fine but I'd rather go a bit more gourmet this year.

I did. Don't use the app, use your online bank and the fact that somehow 3 of your family members friends got scammed sounds like complete bullshit or complete stupidity.

Cashapp is easy enough to use to send $ as long as you don't mind the wait to not be pestered with their stupid fees.

Can you just buy an e-gift card and send a screen shot of the # to whomever you choose? I do that with my parents a lot.

After a quick discussion, we think it is best that you take care of transferring the gift to the recipient yourself. I'm not discounting what you plan to do. It is admirable that you want to do this. We just don't think we need to be the middleman here.

People have NOT been scammed by Zelle but people pretending to be Zelle , just like people get scammed everyday from fake PayPal emails or calls or Western Union.

Use Cashapp, sign up and give them your debit card info and have whoever do the same. It takes like 5 min. I use it way more than venmo or any other money sender app.

Put the money in a Fan Duel account and give Hootie the password. That seems like the safest bet.

I use it quite frequently too. You have to try to be scammed.

We use it for our business and haven't had any issues. Same with PayPal until they started charging us for each transaction

You should get a claim code you can DM him to redeem into his account. May have to email it to yourself first.

I've had a great year, so no problem sharing.

My Mom, Dad, 2 grandfathers, cousin all died of cancer. My sister and grandmother beat cancer. It hits home and glad to hear Haywire putting up a great fight. I also got to meet Nzoner shortly before he passed.
