Say Something Positive After This Loss

I'll go first...

Karlaftis is ascending like a mfer, dude was all over the place with some really smart plays... Omenihu too

ChiefaRoo 12-10-2023 07:01 PM

Kelce’s lateral pass was perfect.

ThaVirus 12-10-2023 07:02 PM

I’m still not in panic mode

Hydrae 12-10-2023 07:02 PM

Rice is going to be amazing going forward!

Rainbarrel 12-10-2023 07:02 PM

Overreacting Planet can let out their hate of the world. Without gunshots

FlaChief58 12-10-2023 07:02 PM

We celebrated my grandson's 13th birthday today

petegz28 12-10-2023 07:02 PM

I am positive our WR corp sucks the hole

Molitoth 12-10-2023 07:03 PM

The play to potentially win the game was one of the coolest plays/moments I've ever witnessed.... and then it was called back.

Actually a few of them it would be nice if they just shot themselves.

NJChiefsFan 12-10-2023 07:03 PM

We played like crap against a good team that was desperate and still should have won.

Titty Meat 12-10-2023 07:03 PM

Jewish Rabbi looks great in grey sweat pants no

Stryker 12-10-2023 07:03 PM

We are positioning ourselves for a higher draft pick :thumb:

Buehler445 12-10-2023 07:03 PM

Carl Cheffers can't officiate all of our games.

comochiefsfan 12-10-2023 07:03 PM

Brett Veach will be a phenomenal insurance agent.

Reerun_KC 12-10-2023 07:04 PM

Patrick was mad. This is what we have been missing for a half of season.

ntexascardfan 12-10-2023 07:04 PM

I'm grateful that in about 4 months none of these jagoffs in the WR room will be on our roster.

farmerchief 12-10-2023 07:04 PM

Buttkicker still hasn’t missed a field goal or extra point!

lcarus 12-10-2023 07:04 PM

At least our next 2 games are against the Patriots and Raiders? Then we get the Bengals minus Burrow and the Chargers who are a dumpster fire. Gotta win out at this point.

493rd 12-10-2023 07:04 PM

All this pain with this clown WR unit is gonna bring us big change in the offseason. Veach will get this right because that’s what you do when Patrick Mahomes is your QB.

mr. tegu 12-10-2023 07:04 PM

The next four games don’t really matter all that much (assuming we win at least two of them).

Bearcat 12-10-2023 07:05 PM

They're still self-inflicted mistakes away from going to the Super Bowl.

And that's largely because the AFC kind of sucks right now, but ****..... just... stop... with the ****ing mistakes. Even with a few drops, stop with the ****ing turnovers, lining up a goddamn foot offsides, etc.

...and uh, it's beautiful in Arizona right now.

They'll lose 1 more. Finish 11- 6. But still make the playoffs.

FloridaMan88 12-10-2023 07:06 PM

Remaining schedule looks almost WR-proof for the Chiefs to not mess up.

FringeNC 12-10-2023 07:07 PM

The positive thing is that we have a pissed off team the rest of the season. Half our problem is complacency. That's all gone.

I think they'll win 3.

Delano 12-10-2023 07:07 PM

Clyde and Jet looked good. Kelce looks back to form. Morris did well. Bolton is back. Edwards stepped up.

Pat looked more like himself.

Graystoke 12-10-2023 07:07 PM

Rice is really good

Fnbs010 12-10-2023 07:07 PM

Something positive

The rest of this season is filler for 2024 at this point.

LagunaSWana 12-10-2023 07:07 PM

At least Toney caught the lateral...on the play where he lined up offsides and single-handedly cost the Chiefs the game.

Peter Gibbons 12-10-2023 07:08 PM

Cationic surfactants. How did I do? Will you be grading on a curve (asking for a friend - she lives near me and lets me PIIHB).

WhawhaWhat 12-10-2023 07:08 PM

L'Jarius Sneed is the best player on defense.

carcosa 12-10-2023 07:08 PM

The fact of the matter is that Mahomes could very well put the team on his back for another Super Bowl run. If he can pull out a CG win against the Bengals on one working leg with Marcus Kemp running routes, anything is possible. But the margin for error is gonna be beyond razor thin.

There was no catharsis re-living Dee Ford.

On a positive note - that should seal Toney's fate on this team. If not today, then after the season.

tmax63 12-10-2023 07:09 PM

I couldn't watch it because I live in Donkeyland and don't pay to have subscriptions to see 1-2 games per year.

Hamwallet 12-10-2023 07:10 PM

Denver might win the division…

Team played a great game with all the key injuries. Easily could have won. Nice to have Bolton back. Chiefs will win their last 4 games

tredadda 12-10-2023 07:12 PM

Positive is that this is not a SB caliber roster, at least on offense. This means KC will be able to cut some dead weight this offseason and actually have an opportunity to draft talent earlier than they have in a long time.

DrunkBassGuitar 12-10-2023 07:16 PM

That TD that was called back was the most insane play I've seen all year and had it counted would have completely broken the bills even further

Megatron96 12-10-2023 07:20 PM

Welp, finished buying all the kids their X-Mas presents.

Other than that, I got nothing.

Beautiful weather here in PHX. Have a nice evening, CP.

That was an amazing and astounding play that should be replayed on NFL highlights forever.

And who actually scored? Was it Toney?

ping2000 12-10-2023 07:21 PM

Travis still might get anal, even with a loss.

Pinchshot 12-10-2023 07:21 PM

There's always next year

I think so

My reaction was "NO WHAT ARE YOU DOING...OH SHIT... TOUCHDOWN"

Justman59 12-10-2023 07:22 PM

We will win all the games left.

JohnnyV13 12-10-2023 07:23 PM

Im positive the Chiefs aren't winning the Super Bowl (and yeah I hope I have to eat those words, but I doubt it).

Womble 12-10-2023 07:23 PM

Whilst we might have lost, I still don't think the Bills take the AFC this seasom

Really, we should be in awe of Toney on this play. Has any NFL player ever scored a game-winning touchdown and a game-losing mistake on the same play?

crayzkirk 12-10-2023 07:25 PM

I'm positive that the Chiefs will get the calls and bounces next year...

ROYC75 12-10-2023 07:26 PM

The Sun comes up tomorrow!

'Hamas' Jenkins 12-10-2023 07:26 PM

The AFC is terrible. The only team clearly better is San Francisco, and they are incredibly injury prone.

George Liquor 12-10-2023 07:28 PM

It will be extremely difficult for the WRs to be this bad next year.

ChiliConCarnage 12-10-2023 07:28 PM

That play near the end was amazeballs. There were signs of life from CEH for the first time since his rookie season I think

ROYC75 12-10-2023 07:29 PM

Even if it had counted we would of had to of held them 1 more time!

KC_Connection 12-10-2023 07:30 PM

Despite having the worst collection of WRs on one team in NFL history and a tackle who can't stop false starting multiple times a game, the Chiefs are still better at their best by a decent margin than any AFC team I've seen this year. All they really need to do is get in and see what happens.

alpha_omega 12-10-2023 07:31 PM

Morris.

Rainbarrel 12-10-2023 07:33 PM

To say I didn't lose hope after being down 14 would be an out right lie. I feel better, thanks

I would have liked our chances. Spags would have dialed up the chaos and forced Josh to make a mistake.

Fishels 12-10-2023 07:34 PM

We are one game closer to ending this season

dannybcaitlyn 12-10-2023 07:36 PM

Joe Cullen standing up to Chris Jones and destroying a tablet! Awesome.

KurtCobain 12-10-2023 07:36 PM

It's really hard to say something positive.

At the same time, it's super easy to not go clown mode negative.

Easy 6 12-10-2023 07:36 PM

Lets not forget Rice here, 7 for 72 and that back of the EZ dime... that kid is progressing beautifully

Gary Cooper 12-10-2023 07:37 PM

Buffalo would still get the ball back with three timeouts and 1:20 or so. I like our chances with how the defense was playing, but there was still football to be played even if that TD stands.

ThyKingdomCome15 12-10-2023 07:39 PM

This team showed some life today. I have more hope than I did before the game. Now they know the league wants them to die and that should make them very motivated going into the Playoffs.

Oh, so good to have Bolton back as well. We really missed his hammering presence.

They weren't going to win that.

Pasta Little Brioni 12-10-2023 07:41 PM

No

Gary Cooper 12-10-2023 07:42 PM

This isn't as heartbreaking as the Dee Ford game.

FloridaMan88 12-10-2023 07:44 PM

The WR snap count is trending in the right direction at least…

Rashee Rice was in the lineup for 26 of the Chiefs' 32 offensive plays in the first half. MVS played just nine snaps. Other WR snaps:
Watson 17
Toney 16
Moore 11
James 7
— Adam Teicher (@adamteicher) December 10, 2023

Dallas Chief 12-10-2023 07:49 PM

Toney gets a pass from me. Without him I highly doubt we beat the Eagles and get our 2nd Lombardi in 4 years. He laid it all on the line on that punt return and for that I’ll be forever grateful. I hope he cleans it up for the balance of this season.

VAGOMO 4 LIFE! 12-10-2023 07:51 PM

We will play the broncos with the division on the line in a few weeks. We may not make the playoffs

We have to play them 3 times?

Defense has been lights out this year and the O is the one letting the team down.
