If there is no penalty - do the Bills ultimately win?

Just a food for thought and interesting takes. If KC scores, there is still 1:12 on the clock and the Bills have all 3 TO's. The TD and the XP puts us up by 4 points.

Do you think the Bills would have scored in the remaining time to win?

VAGOMO 4 LIFE! 12-11-2023 12:28 PM

Our defense was nails in the second half. I don’t think they would’ve scored

TLO 12-11-2023 12:29 PM

I think Allen throws an INT, honestly.

Eleazar 12-11-2023 12:30 PM

Anything is possible but we'd have to be 80-90% to win up by 4 with a minute left.

MahomesMagic 12-11-2023 12:30 PM

No, Buffalo probably does not score. But you never know because if you blitz (and Spags wasn't going to stop) you leave guys wide open down the field if you don't get there fast enough.

It's funny because I agree 100% with both of you. I think that's how the game would have ended.

ChiefsCountry 12-11-2023 12:30 PM

**** no. Arrowhead would be insane loud and the Bills would now had the Lateral to 13 seconds in that missery bank.

Wisconsin_Chief 12-11-2023 12:31 PM

No way, our D was stonewalling them and after such an insane play the stadium would have been electric, Allen would have been desperate and the D would have been ferocious.

Game would have been over.

New World Order 12-11-2023 12:31 PM

No. They had trouble moving the ball

Discuss Thrower 12-11-2023 12:31 PM

They shouldn't have been in the situation to run that desperation play to score in the first place.

Rice makes the catch along the Buffalo sideline and immediately sprinted back to the hash to run a hurry up. That should have been flagged a DPI which would have stopped both clocks for however long it would have taken to give KC the option to accept or decline.

Giving the Chiefs a decent 20 seconds of real time to get orchestrated changes the whole series.

tredadda 12-11-2023 12:31 PM

I don’t think so. They gave up two quick TDs and after that they surrendered a FG. The defense did what it has all year. Start slow and then clamp down and play at an elite level.

Balto 12-11-2023 12:33 PM

No, Reid would kick an onside and Pat would score again.

493rd 12-11-2023 12:34 PM

Nope. The defense would’ve shut them down.

Buehler445 12-11-2023 12:35 PM

Allen can do ridiculous things and Diggs and Davis can beat dudes. Plus Cheffers.

I'd put the odds of the Bills getting it done at sub-10%.

louie aguiar 12-11-2023 12:36 PM

Probably we win but it’s certainly no guarantee. That’s plenty of time for Josh Allen.

FloridaMan88 12-11-2023 12:37 PM

They would have needed a TD so not likely.

Hammock Parties 12-11-2023 12:40 PM

Yes.

Because we are the Chiefs.

I said something very similar to my sisters during the game. The non-call for DPI on Rice took yards and time away from the Chiefs.

I feel that the Chiefs defense was playing well and the Bills have blown 4th quarter leads all year.

Mephistopheles Janx 12-11-2023 12:49 PM

It would have ended in a tie. Chiefs D bucked up in the second half and the Chiefs WR room has a bunch of "dawgs"....

Pretty certain they only had two TOs left not all three. Would have been tough to drive length of field with 1:10 left. Defense was playing extremely well.

smithandrew051 12-11-2023 12:55 PM

I trust our defense there. They were playing well.

The Bills did most of their damage with Cook, and he would’ve been less of a factor with minimal time left.

cdcox 12-11-2023 12:55 PM

Depends on how many bailout penalties the Bills would get.

KC_Connection 12-11-2023 01:07 PM

No, not the way the defense had upped their intensity in the last quarter or so.
