Great actor, both in comedy and drama. Too young. RIP

Indian Chief 12-12-2023 09:11 PM

Agreed, excellent actor. RIP.

MVChiefFan 12-12-2023 09:27 PM

Oh man, I hate that. I’m a big Brooklyn 99 fan. Also played a good role in the movie Glory.

Valiant 12-12-2023 09:43 PM

Damn. He was a good actor.

BlackHelicopters 12-12-2023 09:45 PM

Was great in Homicide. RIP

Such a great movie. Broderick, Washington, and Freeman were just unbelievable. And, the dynamic between Broderick’s and Braugher’s characters was phenomenal.

UChieffyBugger 12-12-2023 11:41 PM

Rip. Great actor no question.

No other film I've seen in the theater moved me as much as Glory. And Braugher's performance was every bit deserving of the Oscar as Washington's was.

Great actor. RIP. Liked him in “Men of a Certain Age”. It was short-lived, but a great ensemble cast.

Chiefs4TheWin 12-13-2023 01:59 AM

Really good actor. 61 is really young for a guy who appears in good shape. That's a shame.

kepp 12-13-2023 08:42 AM

I usually don't bat an eye at these, but he was great in Brooklyn 99. RIP

It's pretty much a movie I won't re-watch.

I appreciate it and respect the hell out of the story they told. The performances were spectacular.

But yeah - that ain't on my list of things I'm eager to watch at any given moment. We saw that movie in elementary school, IIRC; like 3rd or 4th grade. Kinda says something about what we were exposed to as kids vs now. My elementary schoolers won't even do a Thanksgiving Celebration because it is potentially triggering.

Same. And especially Denzel. It was then that he became one of my favorites.

I didn't remember Braugher but I'm sure I would if I went back and watched it now.

Garcia Bronco 12-13-2023 09:48 AM

“BRB. What does it even mean? That has the same number of syllables as the acronym. What’s the point?”

RIP

It's a tough watch, but I'll pop it in occasionally. My second favorite movie of all time, right behind Casablanca. I feel like I should give a watch now in his honor.

He played Thomas, Shaw's foppish friend who volunteered for service and had a brutal awakening in bootcamp. He ended up being a great soldier, though.
