Rather win the division or have a higher draft pick?
Simple question.
We all know in our heart of hearts that no matter how much we hope and wish we are not winning the SB this year. As much as I want to win and have hope for a miracle I think I would just as soon see the team go ahead and lose out and get a draft pick that is 5 or so positions higher and get the better athlete in every round. I believe that would help us more in the future. |
Win the Division. Always.

Win the ****ing division FFS.

Id rather win the division and get the #19 pick than miss the playoffs and get #18
It’s not like we’d get some top 10 pick lol |
Based entirely on pure emotion, let's lose out and get a higher pick. Seen enough of this offense, don't need to see another month of it.

Hope stopping the clock doesn't backfire. I'd be just inclined to let the clock run out and only be down four at halftime. We get the ball first in the second half.
|
Win. Period.
|
Jesus this fan base has become reeruned fast, how is this even a question?
|
This should be ban able holy ****. We have Mahomes and Kelce I will always take the shot with those two guys.

Jump inside a volcano OP

|
Good grief OP!
With a question like that, did you eat paint chips as a kid? |
Chiefs can keep getting better and have a chance to win it all. I thought this post was from one of the new bandwagon fans. Mercy.
|
What the hell kinda of question was that by OP?
|
The Chiefs finally have a defense and Big Red, PMII and TK. Getting to the dance is the hard part. After next weekend they only have 3 more games. I'll gladly pick 31 or 32 every year. You can find good players in every part of the draft, once you get out of the top 10-15 there isn't that big a difference.
|
This stupid as ****!!!
|
This is a bad look.

This one might be a little induced by bourbon. Although the question remains relevant. The difference could be the 28th pick instead of the 21st pick, or a trade-up from either position. This place is just so overdramatic and most don't want to live in a realistic none hyperbolic realism. That is their problem, not mine. It is just a question and an opinion. It doesn't mean that I love the team any less. Just an honest viewpoint. |
The hell is wrong with you?
This defense plus playoff Pat can beat anyone |
The Chiefs are a different team in the playoffs. They don't look like their normal dominant self. But they can get hot and still go all the way. Look at the 2021 Bucs, that team was underwhelming. They went in as the 5 seed and went on the road all the way to the Superbowl. Then they got to play against a Chiefs team without an offensive line and won it all. Nobody thought that they would make it all the way. That can be the Chiefs this year. There isn't a team in the playoffs that should be able to beat the Chiefs if the Chiefs don't turn the ball over multiple times. The Ratbirds are the top seed and they won't score 20 points against us without turnovers.
|
How spoiled a few have gotten preferring we don't make it. Some franchises would kill to have 1 year as a 3 seed with Mahomes at qb and an elite defense.
Yet since things aren't lined up cleanly for us they would rather not even try. Yes things have been really ugly at times this year. It could happen in the playoffs. But passing on the playoffs with Mahomes as your QB is a wild thought process. |

They can lose Sunday now. Sit everyone except mvs and throw to him a ton

Go to drunk, you're bed
|
There's an analogous thread on the Bills board. Should the Bills rest their starters and try to get the six seed so they can go to KC rather than have to face Stroud and the Texans?
|
Definitely win the division, especially with Mahomes as our Quarterback.
|
I haven't read the entire thread. Have we arranged a time and place to form our mob yet to tar and feather Chief Roundup?
We never give up, because we are the good guys and we are led by Patrick Mahomes II, the greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL. |
