Who do we want to play next?
What's the easiest path to the AFC Championship Game, Houston at home or Buffalo on the road? Who is everyone rooting for tomorrow (or Tuesday if delayed again)? I would do a poll but too computer illiterate to set it up.
|
I think I want Houston and that might be crazy.
|
We're all Steelers' fans this week.
|
Bills,
Avoid Texans, they are extremely dangerous right now |
I just can’t fathom being able to stand an offseason of insufferable bills fans if they win. Although I think they are probably the worst team on their worst day and the better team on their best day. Depends on what bills team you get but we were right there with them at home.
|
I’m pretty close to a push between the Bills on short rest on the road versus the Texans at home.
If the Bills game gets delayed to Tuesday, then I’ll definitely prefer the Bills. |
We want a home game.

Nothing would make me happier to see the Bills lose this week, the Ravens next week, and the Chiefs beat the Texans (obviously)
God, that'd make me laugh so hard. LET'S SEE MAHOMES WIN A PLAYOFF GAME ON THE ROAD IF HE'S SO GOOD!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!11 :deevee: |

Want the Texans for the home game, but I think the only way we can host the AFCCG is by beating Buffalo on the road next week. I don’t see Pittsburgh beating Buffalo and Baltimore on the road, but I could see Houston beating Baltimore.
|
Houston might be more dangerous. I think their OC & QB have an advantage on the league right now. DC’s have not had enough game tape and time to figure out the playcalling tendencies of this new OC. There is a risk against Houston that Spags would not have the answers to slow down Slowik & Stroud.
Spags is already very aware of how to slow down Buffalo’s offense. But the flip side is that Buffalo seems to be a much stronger team in their home stadium, so maybe you want to avoid that scenario. |

So basically, if the Bills game gets delayed to Tuesday, the Steelers winning would be even better because then we’d get a home playoff game and they’d probably make Ravens/Steelers play on Monday, which would give the winner a short week for the AFCCG. Otherwise, it’s the Chiefs who would lose a day of rest ahead of the AFCCG. |

It's hard to be THAT scared of the Texans just because of their shit schedule doesn't really tell much of a story.... they beat two playoff teams all regular season and they're the two worst. And not to take away from the complete dismantling of the Browns, but the Browns clearly weren't as good as people thought on defense and Flacco did backup QB things.
OTOH, the game obviously wasn't too big for Stroud (helped by receivers running college wide open). And the Bills SHOULD be pretty scary, but obviously have their issues. So...... I don't ****ing know. LMAO If it was: Team A: made the playoffs 5 years in a row including an AFCCG, star quarterback, and playing at home Team B: rookie QB playing at Arrowhead for the first time on a team that went 10-7 following a 3-13-1 season ....it's not even a discussion. This year is ****ing weird though and I'm leaning Bills in terms of match up, but Texans in terms of wanting more home games. I'd also love to see Stroud versus this defense.... is this defense seriously legit? Is Stroud for real? Are both true? |
If The Chiefs are super bowl worthy, it doesn't matter who they play.
|
If the weather is shitty again we want Houston
|
Bills on their short week. Texans stuns rusty Ravens. and championship game at Arrowhead!
|
What’s Spags record against rookie QB’s?

But if Texans get to AFC champ game in 1st year, we need to start prepping for our new AFC challenger. The Texans have like 80 Million they can spend in FA this coming year. They are about to spend |
I like the Bills on short rest. I'd bet Josh's butt puckers just a little when he sees the Chiefs , just wish everyone could wear #13 in tribute to the 13 second drive.

Not sure the other QB’s are very good with the bad weather games. Josh Allen wasn’t good in the snow game loss to the Bengals last year. Also lost a game in Bufffalo to Patriots where Mac Jones threw only 1 pass. Wind was blowing 50 mph and Belichick ran the ball on 99% of the snaps. |
Would rather play the AFCC game at home. Go beat the Bills in the own house.
|
The home game sounds better. No offense to Houston, but if we can't beat them, we're not SB contenders anyway. Their defense is average. Their offense is great but the Chiefs defense can match them in personnel.
Buffalo has beaten the Chiefs 3 of the last 4 games. The only loss was that 13 second collapse. Allen always comes to play against KC. I can see the argument for Buffalo because they'd have less rest but I still prefer Houston. |
**** it….let’s invade whatever the Bills’ stadium is called and end their season a third time. Along the way, we’ll pelt some table jumpers with frozen dildos and live stream them fingering their girlfriends’ buttholes.
|
home game is the obvious preference but playing the bills with us getting extra time to prep is fine too
either way we will crush |

2021 and needing to beat both the Bills and Bengals. 2022, Bills/Bengals play each other, so the Chiefs only had to play one of them. Or in other words, there's usually more than one SB worthy team per conference and it's tough for any team to go through them all. |
Next? Did we sniff the playoffs?

I would absolutely want the Bills if we got to play at home. I think the Texans are cooking

While knocking the Bills out again would be awesome, the correct answer is Houston. We absolutely roll them at home if we play.

I think I'd rather beat the Bills in Buffalo but if it's not our year I'd be a lot less butthurt losing to CJ Stroud than that beady eyed Neanderthal Allen
So...Bills? I guess? |
Let Houston take out Baltimore. I like our chances against Barfalo.

I'm thinking Bills. The Texans can smack Baltimore and we'll once again be hosting the Arrowhead Invitational.
|
I still prefer the Texans at home than Bills on short rest on the road.
The counter looking ahead is the Texans going to Baltimore could set us up for another Arrowhead Invitational. |
Steelers even though it's not possible. They suck ass
|
Quote:
Though I didn't see them blowing out Cleveland either, albeit at home. |
So Houston is the new flavor of the week that CP is afraid of lol
|
You’re gonna have to go on the road once. Would you wanna go to Buffalo or to Baltimore?
There’s also a scenario where you have to go to both. The scenario that guarantees you don’t do that, is a steeler win. So we want a steeler win |

And no, Houston finished 12th in total offense. Three spots below KC, even with the Chiefs sitting starters for a game. 14th in ppg. An offense that is error-free but still puts up middle of the pack numbers is hardly "great." |
Get back to Arrowhead
|
Losing to the bills would suck but even fat chicks get lucky sometimes and since we would still have and overall edge I would survive but ending their season again would be glorious especially living in. Bills heavy area.

Got any more nuggets of wisdom for us, Booger? |
The Bills are better at defending us. So for that reason, even though it’s a tossup because Stroud is playing well, I prefer the Texans. I don’t think their defense will pose the problems that cause us issues in moving the ball and I’m pretty confident Stroud isn’t coming in here and playing all that well against our defense.
|
Texans at home is best for us.
|
Quote:
But that requires more wacky shit. I think the Texans have a better chance of beating the ravens than the Steelers |
Quote:
These things are always so silly to say. In the NFL, matchups matter. It would be like saying if we are awaiting the winner of Steelers vs Ravens, it doesn’t matter which one we play. |
Houston at home.
How any of y'all could've seen that scene at arrowhead and NOT come to the same conclusion is beyond me. This is easy. |
I prefer the Texans, if only for the guaranteed home game.
|
You folks who don't want to play a rookie QB at home are nuts.

We want the Texans because we want to see Bills fans meltdown under a Rudolph WC loss at home. But the odds of that aren't good at all.
|
Give me the Arrowhead Invitational

Looks like most Bills fans want to play the Chiefs.

Compared to the Chiefs, Houston faced better defenses than KC but worse offenses. The Chiefs faced better offenses but worse defenses. Also, poor Bengals. https://media.pff.com/2024/01/SR_4-1-1024x682.png |
I'd personally like to beat the snot out of the Bills.

Bring me the Texans, you damn well know Strouds presence will bring the best out of Mahomes... he absolutely will NOT let the youngster upstage him |

I'm afraid that if we go into Buffalo and kick their ass our team might get pummeled with dildo's.
|
CJ Stroud is legit but has his flaws. If Flacco doesn’t throw back to back pick 6s they were right in that game.
|
Texans at home
|
What time and dah would we play if we play Buffalo?

That's how I see it as well. |
To be honest I would rather have the AFC Championship at home than the division game. There is no way the steelers are beating the bills AND ravens.

just gotta get thru the bills which we should be able to do. theyve still yet to beat us when it matters |
Dont care. If Rice continues to light it up this team is going to beat anyone anywhere.
|
Playing the Bills probably gets us a better chance of getting the AFCCG at home.
Playing the Texans gets us a better chance of making the AFCCG. |
DON’T GIVE A **** BRING ON WHOEVER
|
Not really sure. But if we have to play in bad weather, I’d rather play at home, I guess.
|
The Bills please! That gives us the Sunday game and a chance to send the Bills home at home!
