Rather play Houston at home than travel to Buffalo.

This.

Buffalo hasn't won in Divisional round and doesn't play good in bad weather. We'll be lucky if they make it to play us next week...

lewdog 01-15-2024 06:23 AM

Someone tell me who we play and on what day depending on scenario?

Home game.

Drinking the tears of all the miserable ****s who think Congress should force Mahomes to have to play a playoff game on the road.

Monticore 01-15-2024 06:33 AM

Mahomes beating the bills in Buffalo would probably break them or at least shut them up for a while but losing to them would suck , them losing to the Steelers guarantees th ir tears will feed us for at least another year

Houston has a much better chance of beating Baltimore at home than the $tealer$ do. I'd much rather play see the Chiefs play the AFCCG in Kansas City against Houston than against the Ratbirds in Baltimore. The national butthurt over us hosting it for the sixth time in a row would be epic.

I figured Cleveland would take care of that for us but if the Texans want to make it happen, all the better...

would you rather get a home game for the divisional or the AFCCG? there is a much better chance that Houston upsets Baltimore than Pittsburgh.

I ran the math on this and it checks out.

PAChiefsGuy 01-15-2024 07:14 AM

You guys can root for them all you want but they are not winning this game. Steelers don't have the offense to keep up..

lewdog 01-15-2024 07:28 AM

The Steelers offense is worse than Nebraska. I bet that offense won’t score 14 tonight.

Easy 6 01-15-2024 07:40 AM

Steelers don't have a snowballs chance in hell

Literally everything would have to go just right for them, on the road...

Bearcat 01-15-2024 07:41 AM

It's kind of a win-win... I don't have much faith in the Steelers winning the game, but have some faith in the Bills being able to **** around long enough to keep them in it.

Bills win, bring it on... it would be ****ing glorious to beat them in Buffalo, and I'd grudgingly tip my cap if they win and wouldn't lose any sleep over it. And as mentioned several times in this thread, it's far more likely the Chiefs would host the AFCCG if they beat the Bills.

Steelers win... HILARIOUS, an all time great comedy and unlike above guarantees another home game.

O.city 01-15-2024 07:46 AM

Give me Houston at home, but man.....the Chiefs blowing the bye this year is just a golden opportunity lost.

The bye obviously gives you one less game, but usually that division game is a cake walk game to the AFCC game.

TambaBerry 01-15-2024 07:52 AM

Buying stock in party table companies if we play buffalo

HonestChieffan 01-15-2024 07:53 AM

I don’t know if I buy the Texans having a better chance than the Steelers. The Steelers routinely beat the Ravens or play them to within a few points, including two victories this year, though one the Ravens starters weren’t playing. I don’t know that the Texans first road playoff game against a good defense goes all that well.

redfan 01-15-2024 08:15 AM

I Think I'd rather play the Bills. The 'enemy you know' and all...

Tell that to Brady. Easy division every year racking up home playoff games, favorable blown calls in his favor, stupidity by the opponent, blatant cheating, and multiple times absolutely GIFTED games by corrupt officiating.

You'd need to sprinkle some rusty metal shavings on top.

ForeverIowan 01-15-2024 08:33 AM

I cant shake the feeling Buffalo is a really good matchup for us. Sneed is playing like the best corner in the league. He will shut down Diggs and Diggs will go into pout mode after the 1st quarter. Gabe Davis likely does not even play. Bring heat on Josh Allen early and often.

tredadda 01-15-2024 08:40 AM

I honestly don’t care who wins. KC is good enough to beat any team in the AFC. Would love to see them host their sixth straight AFCCG though. As long as the offense isn’t an AIDS fire I think KC will beat anyone anywhere. The fact that they are being overlooked is even better. Less pressure on them.

cmh6476 01-15-2024 08:40 AM

I'd rather Pittsburgh win, selfishly because I got season tickets this year. However, I'm kind of excited to see mahomes go on the road and kick some ass this year.

I PREFER Mahomes to have a legacy where he never had to go on the road in the playoffs in his career. I prefer to watch the haters eat each other in their own filth.

There are no excuses for us to remove. There's nothing for us to clear up anymore. We're the best, and if people don't like it, let them sit there and look like whiney butt****ing morons.

Allen's running game and their tight ends are the biggest concern. Also, James Cook (not the famous captain) had a big game against us.

I'm not worried about anyone Sneed is covering.

I will say though that Allen has performed much better in the playoffs than Dak. He’s laid some eggs before, but he’s also had some dominant games. Dak never has in the playoffs, but I do get what you are saying. I also think the pressure is on Buffalo more than Pittsburgh and that could be a major factor.

The Chiefs linebackers are in a lot better shape now. A healthy Bolton and Tranquil should help. Mike Edward’s is also playing better.

We might be able to leverage Arrowhead and the cold weather again, but Texans are an unpredictable team, CJ Stroud is what Deshaun Watson should've been.

Yeah I think people are overthinking this. If we think Stroud would really struggle against our defense on the road then you basically have to assume the exact same about them playing at the Ravens.

I would wager that Baltimore does not want any part of the Steelers in a cold weather playoff game and the winner would come out pretty beat up , they routinely beat the shit out of each other in regular season games

We were missing our starting LT, Pacheco, best coverage LB (they attacked with Cook in the passing game), etc.

Also, their "starting MLB and both starting CBs" are done for the season. Aren't they? At least 2 of the 3.

Edit: just realized that is obviously a mult account.
