Who's going to Buffalo?

I'll be there with at least three others behind the Chiefs bench. Anyone else planning to attend?

New World Order 01-15-2024 10:37 PM

I'm sick of hearing "Bills Mafia"

Shit is gay...like Billy.

I’d still like to say, props to damar Hamlin for exemplifying all the traits that we know and love about the bills… collapsing on the field when playoff seeding is on the line, and then returning to ensure they play us again for the divisional round.

I have a friend that is taking a group of Clients to the game on their company jet. He called me tonight and told me that they may have one seat available. It’s going to be a last minute deal, but I told him I’m in no matter when he calls. Fingers crossed!

I've been to Niagara falls and ate at Mister Pizza in Buffalo. Closest I have been.
People up there are a lot more my style than the arseholes in NYC. Not sure what the are like guzzling beers and jumping onto flaming folding tables.
Id say go for it and report back

Many times but no chance I’m going for a Chiefs/Bills playoff game. The best case scenario there is leaving the stadium after a win with angry, drunk people throwing objects at you. Those people hate Mahomes and this team with a passion only reserved for Tom Brady over the past few decades.

Kman34 01-15-2024 11:23 PM

Rain Man 01-15-2024 11:34 PM

BWillie 01-16-2024 12:03 AM

Buffalo has such a great home field advantage because opposing fans just dont want to go there.

philfree 01-16-2024 12:21 AM

Buffalo fans try to avoid going to their own games by trying to commit suicide by diving on flaming tables...

I was scheduled to fly to Germany on Monday. I have my admin trying to rearrange my flights so I can fly to Buffalo on Sunday to catch the game and then fly to Germany from there Monday morning. As soon as she has that all arranged, I’ll buy a ticket. Good thing I have TSA precheck so I can bring all the dildos I want.

I've been a couple times on the way to Niagara and I think the best part of the city is how simple it is to get in and out of the airport. I looked around for walkable areas with restaurants and stuff... and there's just nothing from what I saw.

Add to it the worst weather in the country, no wonder their entertainment is throwing themselves into folding tables.

I was actually surprised by how ruggedly beautiful New Jersey was. Obviously I'm talking about the mountainous, unpopulated part of it.

Bearcat 01-16-2024 07:40 AM

I guess the upside is for the 7-8 hours of flying, Phoenix to Buffalo is pretty cheap... because not only who the **** wants to fly into Buffalo in January, but who the **** in Phoenix would ever fly into Buffalo in January.

Currently $220 to get in the stadium and $250 for decent upper level seats.... not bad considering those were AFCCG prices at Arrowhead in 2018/2019 and this is there Super Bowl.

I feel like we should take up a collection and send those three bodies that were found in the guy's yard. They were Chiefs fans, and we could prop them in the seats with signs in their hands. I think it would be a nice tribute.

FloridaMan88 01-16-2024 01:45 PM

Seems like you'd need to have multiple back-up options to fly in/out and add in buffer days in case of delays/cancellations given the hellish weather situation in Buffalo.

0 stops made

Review of Ralph Wilson Stadium(12/12/17)

Overall, it is a good venue. Sight lines and parking are good. We had to walk a bit from our car through Erie Community College but the weather was clear and it wasn't bad. We saw two people vomiting by trees on the way towards the stadium. The charm of a football game. As we entered to get in line for the game we encountered the police storm trooper. Bypassing fall down drunks, he spots us...mainly my wife. That completely sober grade school teacher looks like she could be trouble because she forgot to put the contents of her purse in a plastic bag. I understand rules and we didn't ask for any special treatment but of all that was going on around you...but whatever. Contents examined. Purse thrown out and disaster averted. In our seats, the seats even in the upper deck allowed us to see all of the field clearly. Guy next to us is somewhat nice but just throwing down the alcohol. He is friendly enough to practically start laying on my wife's leg. I get this. My wife is pretty and not on the #me too train. He wasn't the only one. We go to games (college and NFL) and this was by far the most sloppy drunks we have ever seen in one place. I don't know if it was Buffalo Bills fans or New England Pats fans...either way, it was just too much. The food was overpriced but good. Didn't actually see security inside...but they snagged my wife's purse outside. Overall, it was an experience. Not outstanding, not horrible. An average time that would have been better if fans could start drinking like adults.

Date of experience: December 2017

I went to the Chiefs/Cards here, which was my first NFL away game, and it was fun, but doesn't have me jumping at the chance to do it again.

There were a few Chiefs fan in our row as it was at least 30% Chiefs fans (probably more) and chatted with a couple Cards fans.

Not sure I'd want to basically be celebrating by myself in Buffalo though... even with a group of a few others, I probably wouldn't be as crazy as I'd be at Arrowhead, surrounded by silence when the Chiefs score.

If there was a Chiefs section though like you see in college games, that would be fun.

Can confirm, been there at least 10 times. Vinnie is great, his is also the guy who is infamous for the Superbowl parade "debacle", when Mahomes gave away the Superbowl trophy to a fan, when in fact it was Vinnies replica trophy!

During the Chiefs games they play the old touchdown song, along with the "Hey GO Chiefs chant" after they score. It's wild, and HIGHLY recommend!

We've arranged about 7 media interviews with him from KC local stations to the national CBS broadcast. He and his bar will be all over the place.

Vinnie has been receiving multiple threats to trash his place if the Chiefs win.
