I'm hoping the Texans win it, but Ravens have been resting and it will be in Baltimore. I think the Ravens crush what hopes they have.

3 weeks time since the Ravens starters played. They may come out rusty.

will get to see most of the first game. None of the second game.

HOU vs. BAL will tell us a lot about Lamar and how comfortable he really is in his new offense. Should be a good game.


Expecting more of a blow out in the second game.

It's been a long time since I've had a reuben.

I ate Reuben’s all weekend long last week. Made right, it’s one of the two greatest sandwiches ever concocted.

Mostly agree with this, where 6-8 are about in the same realm and then 1-2 is in a class by themselves.

I'd probably put Lamar #1 though in terms of needing to win... I think people probably remember Allen's chances in the playoffs over Lamar's, but bowing out as the 1 seed in the divisional twice would be pretty awful.

Would like to see the Ravens lose again as the #1 seed for 2 reasons:

1) It's funny.
2) Arrowhead Invitational

Their QB’s played perfect games last week. ESPN graded both of them 98/100 in the QBR metric last week. If they do that again, both underdogs have a legit chance today. But it’s hard to play a perfect game two weeks in a row.

If Houston can jump to an early lead… all the pressure mounts on Playoff Lamar.

It’s hilarious that Stroud & Love have the same amount of Playoff wins as Lamar. And Purdy has more Playoff wins than Lamar. Jackson has been around long enough as a starter that he’s gotta live up to the hype at some point…or be forever labeled a choker.

No reason why that would change my response.

And he’s played horribly in the playoffs.

All the pressure is on Lamar today… and if they start out slowly… he’s going to feel that pressure and the angst from the home crowd.

If Stroud really is great this could be a good game.

I agree that a Reuben is a great sammich, what is the consensus on the #1 sammich? I know some don't like rye bread or thousand island dressing. Any must have really good swiss cheese and sour kraut.

Oh yeah, it would be nice for the Chiefs to end up in the AFCC for six straight seasons and at Arrowhead, however one thing at a time.

Definitely. KC has been in that situation with Mahomes, but responded in a strong manner every time:

Playoffs for 2018: Down 14-0 to Patriots at Halftime. Chiefs scored 31 points in the second half. KC would have won the game in regulation if not for Dee Ford offsides penalty. Current rule would have given Mahomes a chance to touch the ball in Overtime.

Playoffs for 2019: Down 24-0 to Houston in 2nd quarter, but end up winning the game 51-31. Down 17-7 to Tennessee in 2nd quarter, but end up winning the game 35-24. Down 20-10 to San Fran in 4th quarter, but end up winning 31-20 in the Super Bowl.

Playoffs for 2022: Down 24-14 to Philly at Halftime, but end up winning 38-35 in the Super Bowl.

Jewish seedless rye, not that pretty but subpar marbled crap. Frank’s is the bare minimum for a decent kraut. For thousand island, I’ve pretty much gone Ken’s Steakhouse across the board my dressings. Sargento Swiss if not something out of the deli counter.

As to the #1 sandwich - BLT, hands down.

Lamar for sure. I think McDermott has more pressure than Josh Allen. If Buffalo loses, McDermott gets fired. Josh isn't going anywhere.
