Bills organization sinks to a new low. They shut off the Chiefs hot water after game.

It that weather? If true, the NFL should hold the organization accountable. Unacceptable.

Chiefs Lineman Claims Bills Shut Off Hot Water in Kansas City's Locker Room After Playoff Clash

The Kansas City Chiefs may have had some difficulty warming back up after their frigid divisional round victory over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night.

After the Chiefs knocked the Bills out of the playoffs for the third time in four years, offensive tackle Donovan Smith took to social media with a complaint about the state of the visitors’ locker room.

The 30-year-old claimed that Buffalo had turned off the hot water in Kansas City’s locker room after the game, forcing Chiefs players to take cold showers after having competed in below-freezing conditions throughout the game.

“Damn caught a L and they shut off our hot water... smh it’s all good we got that Dub today,” wrote Smith on X.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Damn caught a L and they shut our hot water off… smh its all good we got that Dub today <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/ChiefsKingdom?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#ChiefsKingdom</a></p>&mdash; Donovan Smith (@DSmith_76) <a href="https://twitter.com/DSmith_76/status/1749267472178397232?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 22, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Although Chiefs players would likely have enjoyed the opportunity to shower down and heat up after the hard-fought 27–24 win, they seemed plenty satisfied to leave Highmark Stadium with a victory and a berth to the conference championship.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Chiefs lit in the locker room <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Chiefskingdom?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Chiefskingdom</a> <a href="https://t.co/l6puyF5WHR">pic.twitter.com/l6puyF5WHR</a></p>&mdash; Dante&#39; Jones (@Dantej21) <a href="https://twitter.com/Dantej21/status/1749265422212313158?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 22, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

The alleged lack of hot water didn’t dampen the celebrations, however, as the team excitedly soaked in the victory after reaching the AFC championship for the sixth straight season.

that's cold.

treeguy27 01-22-2024 11:16 AM

I'm sure it was a "Plumbing malfunction"

Low class

Rainbarrel 01-22-2024 11:17 AM

There was no shrinkage in that locker room

Mecca 01-22-2024 11:22 AM

The Bills are a low class organization...

From this shit to not having any kind of discipline for their fans throwing snowballs, like what the ****?

Bowser 01-22-2024 11:22 AM

OUR KICKER SUCKS SO YOU DON"T GET HOT WATER

Pussies

wazu 01-22-2024 11:23 AM

That stadium is horribly run. Any gripes I’ve ever had about Arrowhead are long gone after this trip.

digger 01-22-2024 11:24 AM

Their Window shut, so they shut off the water... Got to save money now... ;)

Spott 01-22-2024 11:30 AM

Cold plunges are actually amazing for you, especially for athletes. Bills were actually doing us a favor with cold water. I hope CJ shit in their shower and waffle-stomped it down the drain.

Eleazar 01-22-2024 11:35 AM

This kind of gamesmanship is just funny to me.

Besides, that stadium is a well-known dump, maybe it just didn't work?

Titty Meat 01-22-2024 11:36 AM

Idk if it was intentional that stadium looks like a high school stadium what a ****ing dump of a city

Rainbarrel 01-22-2024 11:37 AM

There was a truck perched on a roof. Maybe it's also a body shop

Sassy Squatch 01-22-2024 11:39 AM

LMAO Count me in the minority, I guess, but that shit is hilarious, especially if they did it on purpose. The absolute gall it takes to full send something that petty is admirable.

Skyy God 01-22-2024 11:40 AM

Had a conversation last night at the watch party about which dildos they throw on the field.

My assumption is they buy cheap ones, but who knows.

notorious 01-22-2024 11:44 AM

Some of their fans are blaming our players for taunting at the end of the game.

YOU DUMB MOTHER ****ERS WERE THROWING SNOWBALLS AT THEM THE ENTIRE GAME, SOMETIMES WHILE THEY WERE ON THE FIELD PLAYING.

Just ****ing idiots.

Economy is tight, along with their assholes around said dildos.

They aren't giving them up.

You make a good point. But seems a bit much for a freezing Jan game in Buffalo. Didn’t seem to slow down the Chiefs victory celebration. :)

What the hell is wrong with you? 1). Who poops in the shower, and 2) Somehow thinks that intentionally stepping in poop with your bare feet is good idea?

Go visit a college dorm sometime. You will have your answer.

Would give a new meaning to "Your feet smell like ass"

I lived in Marlatt Hall, an all male dorm at the time, at K-State for two years. No one pooped in the showers...and no one stepped in their own poop.

If that is happening in the dorms, it must be a Mizzou thing.

Honestly have no idea, but I’ve encountered gym showers where people have shit right there on the floor. It’s pretty messed up for someone to just leave it there. Probably Bills fans if I had to guess.

kcfan75 01-22-2024 04:25 PM

Hopefully they pissed all over the locker rooms before they left, I know I would have.

Kiimo 01-22-2024 04:35 PM

Seems this didn't actually happen

So it's the "we didn't do it on purpose, we just have a shitty facility" excuse. It's probably worse that they don't have a system that can handle demand after a football game... Pathetic. Then again, they may have been able to hire some Bills fans to rub their hands together and wrap the pipes for $20 an hour...

KCUnited 01-22-2024 04:46 PM

Maybe they can pay a fan $20/hr to fix their shit

notorious 01-22-2024 04:48 PM

Maybe they can take the entire plumbing system and shove it up their ass.

Chiefs players were like "We good. We showered in Buffalo tears already"

Pitt Gorilla 01-22-2024 04:54 PM

On a related issue, something has to be done about the ice/snow balls and water bottles being thrown at our players throughout the game, no?

Perhaps take away a few picks or home playoff games?

:)

Yeah, there's a chance it was a conspiracy created in the Chiefs locker room as a funny middle finger at the Bills, just like there's a chance there's a super secret Illuminati forum on CP that sits around creating diqlix mults... but far more likely the Bills are just saying Bills things as they're obviously not going to fess up to it or management know it actually did happened.

That dude has to be wrong. There are always isolation valves on hot and cold water. You are not going to drain the entire facility to repair a shower valve or mixing valve for janitorial. This Peter Anderson doesn't know shit.

He goes on to mention that continuous use could use all the hot water. Again this is complete BS it is not like your home. They have steam boilers that are used to heat water for showering and such. The only way for that to happen is if the boilers went down or broke.

It sounds like Peter Anderson might be a filthy rotten liar.

vonBobo 01-22-2024 06:42 PM

Bills fan code of conduct states throwing objects including snow is not tolerated by the bills org or the NFL, and breaking the coc is punishable by ST revocation.
Doubt the league does anything. Doubt the stadium does much except make a few examples out of the drunks already being detained.

In the on field post game reporting some random pouty meatball equipment guy pulls up behind the reporters in a golf cart and just starts spitting and pouting at the camera. I thought he was going to run them over, dude was doing everything he could to not rampage.

Chiefshrink 01-22-2024 06:48 PM

Hey all of our players "brown fat" was activated to eat that toxic "white fat" so our players each lost a few pounds after the game.

I'll take a cold shower any day especially after a victory because I am so darn hot as a winner !!!:p

Bump 01-22-2024 06:53 PM

Throw 15 yd penalties at the home team and that manure stops and if any drunks continue the part of the crowd that is sober will take care of that.;)
