Chiefs-Ravens Final Injury Report

I'll admit this doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

we'll just have to start breaking their players when the whistle blows

Nothing too surprising there

NFL Blitz style

FloridaMan88 01-26-2024 03:40 PM

Gay is the biggest uncertainty.

Pacheco is playing, Edwards seems on track to play.

ThaVirus 01-26-2024 03:40 PM

Little strange that Gay was LP, LP, then DNP today. What’s up with that?

BWillie 01-26-2024 03:41 PM

Would be nice to have Prince on the active. Oh well.

Probably got the big rub

ThyKingdomCome15 01-26-2024 03:44 PM

Ravens are getting Andrews and Humphrey back. We're losing Willie Gay and Thuney.

Ouch.

Bl00dyBizkitz 01-26-2024 03:44 PM

Definitely doesn't look good for us.

Oh well. We ball.

cmh6476 01-26-2024 03:44 PM

ok we only win by 7

cmh6476 01-26-2024 03:45 PM

Mahomes + crippled team > Lamar Jackson + full strength team

Yup, big losses if Gay can’t go. Andrews and Likely are a difficult matchup for us.

Sassy Squatch 01-26-2024 03:46 PM

Thuney not even dressing could be a massive problem.

RedandGold 01-26-2024 03:46 PM

At least Skyy is out, so that’s a win. Wish they would have done the same with Toney for good measure.

pugsnotdrugs19 01-26-2024 03:46 PM

While this isn't a super fun report, it's fairly likely that the injuries which do or don't happen during the game will have a greater impact.

You can plan around these a little. Not what happens after the ball is kicked off.

If Lamar could read he’d be happy about that injury report.

FloridaMan88 01-26-2024 03:56 PM

Last year at this time both Mahomes and Kelce had injury issues so it could be worse.

He’s a veteran player and the Chiefs have had the entire week to prepare with the presumption that he’ll be the starter.

Lunch pail type of guy, works hard.

He is better in run support vs pass support.

The biggest issue he is playing inside. Both the center and LT won't know his tendencies as well as they knew Thuney. I could see the Ravens attacking the left side of our line pretty hard.

Good run blocker, could be a starter in the league honestly on multiple lines in the NFL. Already has plenty of game time experience is a rotational Guard.

He's not Wanya is basically what I'm saying.

Will Allegretti in there the interior OL should three be able to maul in the run game.
Pass blocking will take a hit, but we might be able to open some big holes for Pacheco with those three interior linemen.

WTF???

Gotta win, no excuses. We knew the gauntlet, keep your lack of warm and fuzzies to yourself.

Easy 6 01-26-2024 05:54 PM

One of these lists is certainly not like the others

But who cares, we have Mahomes and a genuine Next Man Up culture thats been built up and curated over the course of many years

These Chiefs do not believe in those kind of excuses at this point

The Ravens beat the crap out of almost everyone this year, but we fought through all kinds of horrible growing pains to get here... you tell me which team is more mentally tough and resilient

IowaHawkeyeChief 01-26-2024 09:01 PM

All in All we are pretty healthy this year. Just not quite as healthy as the Ravens, but overall not to bad.

MVChiefFan 01-26-2024 10:47 PM

Nnadi to IR, Darius Harris added to the active roster. Not sure if that says anything about Gay or not.

BigRedChief 01-26-2024 11:06 PM

We have a healthy playoff Mahomes on two good ankles. He’ll bring it home.

Redbled 01-26-2024 11:44 PM

National media won’t notice we are hurt. They want us to lose so badly.

I doubt he plays, which sucks.

If he’s really hurt what can you do?

UK_Chief 01-27-2024 01:34 AM

Hoping that they force Andrews in and he’s still injured/not up to sharpness. Likely is a great number 2 TE who is playing well so strangely I’d like to see him off the field. Those two could do some damage against us though…

They do real bad. They all said Buff would beat us. Then when they didn't they ran like bitches to the Bill's have too many injuries card that they never mentioned before the game. They will do none of that if we lose for same reason just pump up Lamar as being g the best and we all no the reason for that.

When Thuney went out in the 4th quarter, most fans didn't even notice, and that's a good thing. It means the level of play didn't drop noticeably, or at all.

He has started quite a few games at LG, and he has never been the reason Mahomes got hurt, and he has never been the reason we lost a game.

For a backup, he is about as solid as you could ask for. I think he even turned down more money and/or a chance to compete for the starting spot, because he really loves playing in KC, and playing with these teammates.

He will fight is ass off for the team, and I am here for it.

Very doubtful. He's cheap and has potential. He'll be in training camp at a minimum.

Also, his contact is guaranteed, so we literally save $0 by cutting him.

He did absolutely nothing last year. Not sure what we would have done without his 13 yards on 7 targets vs the Bengals last year in the AFC Championship game.

That ****ing loser had 17 yards in 3 playoff games last year. Truly an awful player. THANK GOD we got those two pieces of shit off our active roster (Toney and Skyy)
