Am I a blatant homer for thinking that he'd be a top-ten pick in a redraft?

Mid-late 1st easily.

Late teens, early twenties. Possibly even sooner.

Interesting question. Would kind of think Jordan Addison and Zay Flowers would still go ahead of him based on upside. I'm guessing 11-20 somewhere.

Second overall WR drafted behind Puka Nacua.

He's been good but we haven't seen the spectacular snatches a true top 10 makes

Who goes ahead of him?

• Obviously CJ Stroud and Puka Nacua.
• Jalen Carter assuming he hasn't killed anyone recently.
• Possibly Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs at RB
• He's got similar stats to Addison and Flowers at WR. Since they were drafted higher, maybe they'd be seen as having more upside.

Maybe Laporta at TE, Will Anderson at DE, Devon Witherspoon at CB, and Kobie Turner at DT? I could make arguments for and against.

Maybe one of the offensive linemen like Paris Johnson or Darnell Wright? Brian Branch?

A bunch of WRs had productive stats, but only Pakua had more receiving yards than Rice.

Anywhere from 20-40.

I sure wanted Gibbs to fall to us, still makes me sick. Gibbs/Pacheco would rule

To be fair to the receivers picked before Rice, Rice is the only one that has Mahomes throwing to him

Taking a RB in round 1 is the dumbest shit possible. It's not worth it whatsoever. You can get just as good and sometimes better in later rounds.

There have not been ten rookies with a better season. Top ten easily.

21 or 22 just based on the teams that drafted WRs. Higher (10-20) if including all teams regardless of what position they actually drafted. I’d personally rank him slightly below Puka and slightly ahead of Flowers. I’d definitely rank him above JSN and obviously above Johnston.

In a redraft my top 10 WRs would be:

1. Puka
2. Rice
3. Flowers
4. Dell
5. Addison
6. Downs
7. Reed
8. JSN
9. Wicks
10. M. Wilson

Addison or Dell over Rice? Why? Dell would be unbelievable in this offense. Addison has to go half the year with total clowns throwing him the ball.

Because one stat that’s not as QB dependent is YAC, and Rice was superior to all rookie WRs in YAC, despite limited snaps the first half of the season. Rice finished 3rd in the NFL in YAC on far fewer opportunities than Ceedee, Amon-Ra, and Tyreek.
